She then looked at his empty left sleeve and changed the subject. With a somewhat embarrassed expression, she asked in a soft voice, "Did you… Is that because of the fight?"

Warlock had not been attending classes for a few weeks, ever since he was filmed in the fight with President Presley. Everyone had been wondering where did the man go. In fact, some even speculated that he might have been killed in the fight since someone saw President Presley after the fight but no one had seen Warlock yet… until now.

"Sigh…" Warlock glanced at his empty sleeve and said, "Let's talk about something else. Why were you there, Mika?"

Upon hearing his question, Mika blushed slightly.

"I heard that Juin had already agreed to join the Order. Why are you still stalking him?" Warlock asked, looking up at Mika from the corners of his eyes. "Did your father send you?"

It was actually her brother, but Mika did not mention his name. Taka Nakamura sent her to protect Juin, and when there was an occasion, whether it was created by the Nakamura Family or otherwise, she should jump in and save Juin, so as to make him feel indebted to her.

And coincidentally, it happened today. Her people had been following Juin closely when Juin and Wesley suddenly disappeared from their views. They knew then that someone had activated a dimension ward and immediately notified her.

Since she wasn't that far away from them, she managed to arrive in time before anything could happen to Juin.

But these weren't the things that she could tell Warlock, so she merely placed her hands behind her back and mumbled, "We were just trying to make sure that he's safe…"

"Mmhmm..." Warlock rolled his eyes in disbelief. The war between the groups had been going on for centuries, and even though he was somewhat "new" to this world, he had learned all that he needed to learn about the groups, having clashed with them on occasions. And he had made it clear that he was uninterested in their little insignificant war.

Bored of the conversation with Mika, he then looked at Wesley, who was leaning against the wall with a gloomy expression, and said with a smile, "You're Wesley, right? Juin's little housemate… I'm his homeroom teacher, Warlock."

Wesley glanced at Warlock and nodded.

"I'm not sure if you remember me, but we actually met before… Around 3 years ago…" Warlock said. He had seen the kid once at the mall, where he finally found Juin, but at that time, Wesley was still very young.

Wesley shook his head as he kicked his backpack that was lying in front of his feet lightly.

"Is… Is he going to be alright?" Wesley asked suddenly; his foot stopped kicking the backpack for a while.

Warlock smiled and nodded. "He will be. Dr. Kaizer is the best at fixing broken bones… He used to break people's bones for fun after all…"

"Mr. Warlock, I don't think you should tell the kid that…" Mika sighed. "You aren't helping in reassuring him."

"Oh, right…" Warlock shrugged and then asked, "Do you have any questions?"

Wesley glanced at him, and after a while, he nodded. With his eyes glued to the floor, he asked timidly, "Are… you guys humans?"

"Hmm…" Warlock thought for a while and said, "Well, Mika here is a human… And so is Juin."

"But you said that he's not a human just now…" Wesley pointed up, looking at Warlock in the eye. "And his eyes… His eyes turned red earlier… It was creepy…"

"Ah…" Warlock did not know that Juin's eyes turned earlier, and he frowned, wondering if there was anything that he could do to stop Juin from turning so easily. "Juin, he's… He's a little different now, but he's still the Juin that you know…"

"I'm scared…" Wesley admitted timidly. "Those creatures just now… And Juin's eyes, when he cut the monster's hand off…"

"Wesley, is it?" Mika suddenly spoke up. When Wesley looked at her, she said, "That's Luffy on your backpack, right?"

Wesley glanced down for a second before nodding. "Yeah…"

"You're into manga?"

When Wesley nodded, she added, "Have you read Blue Exorcist before?"

Wesley nodded again. "Yeah…"

"You can just think of Juin like a character from Blue Exorcist. I'm an exorcist myself, and Juin… He's similar…" Mika tried to think of the characters and see if there was someone that could fit Juin's description. "Well, he's similar to Rin Okumura…"

"Rin? Satan's son with a human woman?" Wesley asked with a brow raised.

Warlock coughed upon hearing it, and he quickly glanced away, thinking, "Damn… That was close…"

"Yeah, except that Juin's a human… who is now possessed by a demon…" Mika admitted the truth, but she smiled to keep it lighthearted.

"That's not the same…" Wesley pointed it out. "What if he started doing evil things because of the demon? I've watched all movies in the Paranormal Activity series!"

"Erm…" Mika chuckled. "Real demons have better things to do than to scare humans through a prolonged period of time… Any demons who would do such things are probably harmless and just like to cause mischief… Anyway, it's been some time since he was possessed, but did Juin ever hurt you?"

"No…" Wesley mumbled. He thought about it for a while before saying, "He's changed somewhat, but… No, he didn't hurt me…"

"Well, there you go… If he's truly taken over by the demon and can't control it, then he would have changed drastically by now, and maybe even turned aggressive… But he didn't, so that means that he has managed to control the demon within him," Mika said with a gentle smile.

Wesley looked at her, wondering if he could trust her. After all, he had just seen her decapitated the ugly monster that was holding him captive. Touching his throat, which still had a red line on it, he mumbled, "Monsters are real…"

"Yeah…" Mika could not deny it now that Wesley had seen it.

"Will they come after me now that I have seen them?" Wesley asked. "What if they come to my house and hurt Mrs. Martin?"
