Instead of a hospital, Warlock took them to an alley somewhere in town.

"Erm… Mr. Warlock? I don't think Juin would get better here…" Mika said before frowning at the two rats that just scurried past them. Even though she was unafraid of them, given that she could just zap them into oblivion, but she still disliked this type of rodents.

"We are just here to meet an old friend of mine…" Warlock said before taking them into a dilapidated building. Standing in front of the counter that had random files thrown on it, he then took a deep breath before shouting, "KAIZER!!! GET YOUR F*CKING A*S OUT HERE!", toward the room behind the counter

A few seconds later, someone shouted back, "IS THAT NECESSARY!!!"

An old man with a white beard that almost reached his waist stormed out from the room and glared up at Warlock. "I'm less than 10 ft away!!! Do you really need to shout?"

His eyebrows were as white as his beard, and they were so long that they reached his chin. And it looked like he was around the same height as Juin at the moment, which was around 162 cm.

Grinning, Warlock pointed at Juin with his chin and said, "My student here is injured… Can you please help? I can't send him home like this."

The man named Kaizer took a quick look at Juin before turning his head the other way with his nose pointed up high. "You know the rules, I don't treat human…"

"But he's not a human," Warlock said with a smile. "He's the kid who messed with the museum and is now hunted by almost everyone…"

Hearing the word "kid" and "museum", Kaizer's eyes lit up, and he quickly took another second look at Juin. "That kid, huh… I'm surprised he's still alive, but I guess you're not lying then… He can't possibly still be a human if he can survive the hunt until now…"

Juin looked at the old man before groaning from pain again, clutching the area on his c.h.e.s.t with the protruding bone.

"Can you fix him up ASAP? He has a few broken bones…" Warlock said nonchalantly. He then quickly added, "While you're at it, why don't you give him a couple of pills that can help him strengthen his bones and body, so that I don't have to deal with this every few days."

The old man walked out of the counter and looked at Juin's wound closely. "Well, this will cost you, but of course I can fix this up immediately… Bring him to the operating table."

Hearing the words "operating table", Juin froze and slowly looked up at Warlock, all the while wondering if this old man was reliable.

As if he could hear Juin's concern, Warlock mumbled, "He's one of the best doctors here…"

Juin gulped, wondering why would "one of the best doctors" be here, in the back alley at the bad side of the town. However, he had no choice. It wasn't like he had the energy to run away now.

Looking at Wesley, Juin did not know what to say at the moment. There was a look of betrayal in Wesley's eyes, and also fear. Wesley was afraid, no doubt. After all, he had just seen things that only happened in storybooks and comics, and the person he grew up with turned out to be something… not human.

If it were Juin who had to see all the creatures without some sort of warning beforehand, he would have died from a heart attack, so Wesley was actually doing a lot better than him.

"If we were characters in a fantasy novel, he's probably more suited to be the main lead than me…" Juin thought wryly as he turned to look at the flickering fluorescent light on the ceiling.

"This won't take long. 15 minutes at most," said the old man as he walked into the room, pushing with him a cart that was filled with random pillboxes and surgical instruments.

"Oh boy…" Juin gulped as he closed his eyes, praying that Warlock knew what he was doing.

Warlock then dragged Mika and Wesley out of the room, and once he closed the door, Mika asked, "Mr. Warlock, is the old man 'Kaizer Rogenfield?'"

"Yup…"

Mika gasped. "I can't believe he's still alive! I thought he died 100 years ago..."

To the supernatural humans, Kaizer Rogenfield was one of the best doctors who was well-versed in handling them. As supernatural humans, sometimes when they were in great pain, they might be unable to control their powers and might accidentally unleash their powers even when unconscious. As such, going to a normal doctor was out of the equation.

"The rat got bored of the fighting and decided to stay in the dark, doing whatever he wants…" Warlock shrugged as he sat down on one of the chairs outside the room. "I bumped into him a few years ago…"

"But bringing us here, aren't you afraid that I'd tell my father?" Mika asked. To her, given the fact that Warlock was unattached to any group, this made him to be on somewhat a neutral ground. No… Actually, given Warlock's dislike of President Presley of the Order, this made him more of a friend than a foe.

Without looking up at her, Warlock replied, "Go ahead. That rat won't be here by tomorrow morning anyway…"

Kaizer Rogenfield wasn't just great at operations, but he was also a pill master, capable of creating pills that could strengthen one's physical and spirit powers. However, he got bored of being forced to create pills after pills, so after blowing up the laboratory that he was kept captive in a hundred years ago, he had been wandering around, living the life of a common doctor and jumping from one state to another.

Obviously, Mika understood what Warlock meant.
