"How did he even catch you?" Juin wondered out loud as he looked at the closed door with a dissatisfied expression at being treated like a child. After all, due to his true identity, Cyrus was extremely agile.

"I let him. I could smell you coming toward me, so I stopped playing and just stood there," Cyrus said with a shrug. Otherwise, with his capabilities, there was no way a normal human, no matter how big he was, would be a threat to him, much less captured him.

Dragging Cyrus away from the house, Juin said to the little boy, "Cyrus, we talked about this. You cannot go around and create trouble for Mrs. Martin… If you misbehave, the one who will be troubled will be her…"

When he looked down at Cyrus, the little beast had an annoyed expression on as he scoffed, "I was just trying to help. She was so worried even though I told her that you were fine, so I thought I could come and catch the killer myself so that she wouldn't have to be worried anymore.

"That's stupid of you…" Juin chided. "What if the killer is…"

He raised a brow, upon which Cyrus knew what he was about to say.

"It is…" Cyrus said with a solemn expression.

"You sure?"

Cyrus thought for a while before saying, "No… But the kid who died was one, that's for sure."

When Cyrus confirmed that the kid who died was a supernatural human, Juin felt uncomfortable. Three deaths, all teenagers from his school, and…

"Cyrus, do you know the genders of the victims?" Juin suddenly asked in a feigned calm voice.

"Erm..." Cyrus c.o.c.ked his head aside, wondering why Juin spoke in such a tone. After all, he could clearly hear the change in Juin's intonation, something that humans could not catch. But instead of worrying over too much, he merely thought about it in passing before answering Juin's question.

"I overheard those men in uniforms. They said that 'no clue on who murdered those poor boys yet'. I guess the victims are all boys…"

Juin grimaced. It was just as he feared. Three teenage boys from his school had been mysteriously and brutally murdered for reasons unknown. No. Juin knew the reason. It was because of him. There was no way that this could be such a coincidence.

If their bodies were found far away from each other, then it was still fine. But Mrs. Martin mentioned that they were found nearby her house, so there was no way this could be a coincidence.

"I must get out of here ASAP," Juin mumbled to himself as his eyes narrowed angrily. He was sure that they were targeted at him, and he had a feeling that this was a warning. Given his recent popularity, there was no way the killer, or killers, did not know what he looked like.

He suddenly stopped in his tracks and thought, "The Dark Night Clan?"

"Get out of here?" Cyrus suddenly repeated Juin's earlier words while looking up at him.

"Yeah..." Juin nodded after a moment of hesitation. "We are leaving tomorrow. When we get home, say goodbye to everyone else."

"Why? I thought we will leave at least a week later," Cyrus pouted. He had barely gotten to know everyone else, and to be honest, he liked the attention that everyone gave him because of his adorableness.

The teenagers always gave him candies, and Mrs. Martin always gave him more meat than what she gave everyone else.

"The longer I'm home, the more danger they would be in. And since you are bonded to me, you have to come with me," Juin explained patiently.

"I'm bonded to you, not married to you. Why do I have to go with you?" Cyrus said unhappily.

"Because your presence there will be dangerous to them as well. Don't forget, even though your true identity is still a secret to them, the Nakamura siblings, as well as their people, have already seen your human form. And given what you did to Taka Nakamura's spirit beast, do you think he will let you go once he found out about your whereabouts, if he hasn't already found out?"

"Hey, you killed that poor bird!" Cyrus snapped. "Why am I being dragged into this?!"

"Only because you weakened it so much to the point that it could barely defend itself," Juin said with a nonchalant attitude. "So you see, it's not safe for you or them if you remain behind."

There was no way he was leaving Cyrus behind. As weak as it sounded, Cyrus might be the only protection he would have once he was at the Order's headquarters.

Besides, he was more worried about the identities of the victims. Even though those were-idiots used to bully him and make his life miserable, he did not want them to suffer such a terrible fate. After all, they helped him a lot when he was still an absolutely clueless noob.

Furthermore, there was no worst feeling than knowing someone he personally knew died because of him. Not that the deaths of those teenagers would not affect him if he did not know them, but it would just be a lot worse if there was some kind of emotional connection between him and them.

When they got back to Mrs. Martin's house, and just as they were about to push open the front gate, they saw two policemen, who had just ended their conversation with Mrs. Martin, walking toward them.

After they walked past Juin and Cyrus, Juin stopped in his track and glanced back at one of the policemen who had just walked past him.

"Mrs. Martin!" Cyrus ran into Mrs. Martin's arms and pouted adorably at her. "Juin is a jerk!"

Mrs. Martin smiled, but she quickly dropped it and frowned instead. "Where did you run out to? Don't you know it's dangerous out there right now? There's a murderer on the loose!"

Cyrus merely smiled innocently. "I just want to help…"

"You're a kid! Let the policemen do their work," Mrs. Martin said with a smile. Cyrus might be mischievous, and she might have years of dealing with kids, but whenever she saw a kid acting so cutely in front of her, she could not bear to scare them harshly.

Looking up, she saw that Juin was still standing near the gate, looking at the direction the policemen were heading toward. "Juin!" she called out. "What are you doing there?"

Juin glanced back at her briefly before looking back at the back of the policemen, who were almost out of sight. After a few seconds, he turned around and said, "Sorry, I was thinking about something…"

When they were back in the house, he asked Mrs. Martin with a nonchalant attitude, "Why did they come here?"

"They were just here to ask a few questions…" Mrs. Martin said while walking to the kitchen to make them some tea. "They wanted to know the whereabouts of you kids last night, which was weird, but apparently, it was a standard question to ask."

"Mrs. Martin, you're too gullible. What if they are bad men?" Juin sighed.

Passing Juin a cup of tea with light steam floating up, Mrs. Martin said with a frown, "They are in uniforms. Obviously they were real. And I saw their badges as well. I have friends in the force, so I know a genuine one from a fake one…"

Juin sighed, not knowing how to explain it to her. The badges might be real, but the person holding it might not be here with good intention. In the end, he merely asked, "Did they ask about anything else?"

"Nothing special… Oh," Mrs. Martin suddenly clapped her hands together and looked at Juin weirdly. "For some reason, they asked if you were going anywhere soon."

That caused Juin to be on alert. "What did you say?"

"That's none of their business, and I don't like how one of them felt the need to warn me that I would be disrupting police investigation if I didn't tell the truth," Mrs. Martin said, placing down a cup of milk tea for Cyrus, as well as some shortbreads for both of them. Besides, the fact that they only asked about Juin was extremely suspicious, which made her even more reluctant to tell them anything about him.

Suddenly, she chuckled and looked at Juin wryly. "I didn't want to say anything and was about to send them off when Wesley walked past and said that with your academic achievements, the only place that you could go in the near future was McDonald, but that would be at least a year later… if you actually graduated from high school on time. With his tone, the policemen seemed to believe him."

"HAHAHA!" Cyrus laughed as he stuffed a sweet shortbread into his mouth. "I don't know what McDonald is, but it can't be anything good if he said it like that!"

Juin shook his head and sighed. At the very least, Wesley deflected the policemen's question. "Where's Wesley now?"

"Room," Mrs. Martin said. "He's still slightly upset…"

"I'll go talk to him…" Juin said, finishing up his cup of tea before leaving the room.

The moment he stepped into the room, he saw Wesley lying on his bed while reading One Piece.

"Thanks for your help with the policemen earlier…" Juin said immediately, closing the door behind him.

Wesley put the manga down slightly as he said, "Someone got to clean your mess after all…"

Juin smiled and sat down on Wesley's bed. "Still, thanks… Even though I'm pretty sure you were insulting me with that comment."

"Well," Wesley sat up and said with an indignant expression, "I'm still angry at your decision of leaving tomorrow!"
