A few hours later, they were back in the training room with Tucker Lee again. The inside of the room remained the same, except that there was now a rack with weapons on them, a long table and three chairs, along with some weapons that were placed on the table neatly.

"What are these?" Juin asked, looking at the various weapons on the desk.

"Your entry-level weapon. One of them is anyway," Tucker Lee said. "Presley said that I should let you choose from our weapon storage, but that will take too much time. I've narrowed down the weapons that might be suitable for your usage. Each and every one of the weapons here is compatible with someone who could use flames, and they each have their own strengths, so choose wisely."

"What is this? A real-life adventure game?" Juin muttered under his breath as he looked at the weapons. Among others, there were a falchion, a bow, a Dao, a European hunting sword, a few throwing stars, and a bullwhip.

"Are you sure these are the best?" Juin looked at Tucker suspiciously. He was curious about the Order's armory and would prefer to choose his weapon from the armory so that he could take a good look at what they had in there.

Seeing his student's disbelief expression, Tucker put on a wronged expression. "You're my only student, ever! Why would I lie to you? I can't even wait to pamper you. Besides, you getting stronger is good for me, both in terms of fame and resources, so I won't trick you."

He even patted his c.h.e.s.t with a "believe me!" expression on his face.

Juin stared at him for a moment before turning his eyes to the weapons. Looking at each one of them intensely, he wondered which one should he choose. After a while, he glanced at Lucifer, but the latter merely shrugged and said, "Try using them and just pick something that's the most compatible with you… If you aren't sure of close combat yet, maybe choose a ranged weapon."

Juin frowned slightly, and after some hesitation, he picked up one of the weapons; a short-ranged one. He already had the Phoenix Arrow. Even if it took him some time to form the spell, it was only because of him being inexperienced. He was sure that with more practice, he could do it immediately, just like Lucifer.

So, right now, he preferred to get something that was longer than his dagger, as he was not comfortable with close contact battle yet, but it did not have to be a long-ranged weapons like a bow or a gun.

"Ah, a European hunting sword!" Tucker's eyes lit up when he saw Juin pick up the beautifully decorated ancient sword with a golden hilt, and he quickly inched closer to Juin and whispered, "By the way, is the Sword of the Daemon King with you? Come on, you can tell me, I won't tell anyone. And there's no eavesdropping ward in here, don't worry!"

Juin raised a brow as he looked at his new teacher, which slowly struck him as a weirdo. "I don't have it. Why won't anyone believe me?"

"You were the last one to be seen with it."

"No, I was in the room," Juin said. "And I fainted not long after I went in. People just assumed I took it."

Technically, he wasn't lying, so he did not feel any guilt about it at all.

When he heard his student's answer, Tucker sighed sadly and said, "Damn, I was really hoping to see the things that caused so many problems…"

"Problems?"

"Never mind…" Tucker waved a hand nonchalantly. "Go on, try out the sword and see if it fits you…"

Juin nodded. He looked at the sword in his hands and felt its weight. Slashing it around, Juin was surprised by how fast he could move with it, albeit a little clumsily. "It's lighter than I thought… I was almost thrown off balance."

Tucker nodded and explained, "This is made out of a type of unique metal that was found in another dimension… It being a lightweight weapon allows its user to control it with spells with minimum soul power expenditure. You know how we use weapons to minimize soul power wastage, right? Using a lightweight item has the same effect."

"Oh, and one more thing before I forget…" Tucker took out a small hunting knife from his pocket. He then threw it at Juin and said, "Try using it… Put in your soul power…"

Juin looked at the hunting knife and tried to put in his soul power, but no matter what he did, nothing happened. He then slashed the hunting knife around a couple of times before giving it back to Tucker. "It's just a normal hunting knife…"

He already knew that once a weapon bonded with its owner, just like his dagger, no one else would be able to use it, but for the sake of making his new teacher happy, he faked it all the way through.

"Is it?" Tucker smiled as he took back the knife before explaning why Juin could not use it.

"Let me show you something…" He inserted a small amount of his soul power into the hunting knife, upon which the knife glowed slightly in red. The glow was so intense that it almost looked like it was burning in bright, crimson flames.

Tucker then threw the hunting knife onto the air, where it remained floating in midair.

"Split!" Tucker said after chanting a spell.

Juin watched in surprise as the hunting knife split into three identitcal knives… No, it was more like the two other extra knives were made out of the "glow" of the original knife. Yet, despite them being made out of something intangible, the sharpness on them was real and lethal.

Using his index and middle fingers that were stuck together, Tucker made a throwing machine toward one of the chairs.

THUD!

THUD!

THUD!

The knives hit the chair in succession, cutting deeply into the cushion of the chair before coming out from the back.

"No, there's only one…" Juin thought as he watched Tucker call his hunting knife back. He then looked at the chair and confirmed that there was indeed three still-burning holes in them.

"As you can see," Tucker said as he placed the hunting knife back in his pocket, "the extra knives will disappear upon contact with a victim or an item. This is the level of this kind of beginner weapons. But of course, how many sword projetions you can make with that sword would also depend on your own aptitude. The last person who used it many, many years ago managed to split it into 5. But you have to beware. If you push the sword too much, it will break."

Juin nodded solemnly.

"Is that your beginner weapon?" he then asked before looking down at the sword that he picked up earlier.

Patting his pocket where the hunting knife was in, Tucker nodded with a smile. "I received it a long, long time ago, when I was much younger than you. Even though I have much better weapons now, I still bring it around as good luck. Plus it's pretty handy when I need to cut fruits."

"Can I do that?" Cyrus suddenly asked as he looked up at Tucker with hopeful eyes.

"What for?" Tucker chuckled and placed a hand on Cyrus' head. "You're a beast, so you yourself are already a weapon."

"But I still want one!" Cyrus pouted. "I can't turn--"

"Cyrus!"
