Fast forward to two weeks later,

A teenage boy of 175 cm built stepped out of a portal along with a little boy. They were both wearing white shirts with a flame lion hugging a golden sword sewed on the front and a pair of black pants that tapered at their ankles. The only difference was that the teenage boy had a black t-shirt underneath his white shirt, which could be seen due to the unbuttoning of the buttons on the white shirt.

They were each carrying a black backpack on their back as they joined the rest of their group, who was overseeing a bunch of houses with white facades, and with some of it sporting blue dome-like roofs.

"It's beautiful…" the little boy said as he stood dangerously on the white ledge of their viewing point. "Juin, don't you think so?"

Juin nodded as he brushed his fringe that was waving close to his eyes back. He was so busy with training the last two weeks that he did not even have time to notice his growth spurt, much less caring about something insignificant as his hair.

As a result, he only realized that the bespoke shirt that Tucker had given him a week ago, which had the emblem of Tucker's house, was now a little too small. Along with all the physical training that he had been doing, his c.h.e.s.t had grown as well, making the shirt too tight to be buttoned up, thus he had to leave the buttons alone.

"Ah, it's been 5 years…" a mesmerizing female voice suddenly appeared next to him, causing Juin to turn to the right. When the girl met his eyes, she smiled and said, "The last time we came here, we had the same emotions…"

Juin did not say anything. Ever since he talked to Presley, he had been busy focusing on his own growth and did not pay any attention to Maris Aegean, who constantly tried to charm her.

Unfortunately for her, Juin had learned how to maintain a constant shield with a small amount of soul power, where he would only expend the soul power when someone tried to charm him using magic or spells.

"Aww, come on, smile a little…" Maris Aegean said as she elbow bumped Juin's shoulder. She was also carrying a backpack, except that hers was red with pink stripes. And as per usual, she was wearing a very low-cut and bodycon summer dress.

"I'm thinking about the coming elimination battle," Juin finally relented and said, "Mr. Tucker said that we will be seeing the other kids as well…"

He looked at the group in front of him, but so far, there were only those who came from Presley's mansion.

Sitting by the ledge with a look that seemed to say "I'll kill you if you get to near" was Luca, and as usual, Soren was standing by his side.

Near him was Saville Roc.h.e.s.ter, aged 17. When Juin first met him, the older teenager barely spoke a word to him. Then, Juin found out that he was a member of the British Royal Family, whose royal mother had been disowned long before he was born because of his mother's decision to marry an American businessman… who turned out to be a descendant of a demon.

When his parents passed away due to an automobile accident 4 years ago, he was taken in by Presley due to his father's position in the Order. Apparently, his father was part of the Council of the Order, and Saville was raised to take over his father's position.

Thus, with such a background, Saville did not think too highly of too many people, including Juin and Luca, both of whom he treated with disdain because of their normal births.

When Saville noticed that Juin was looking at him, he immediately sneered and said to Maris, "Princess Maris, come and hang by me. There's no reason to hang out with someone like him."

"Come on, Saville… I'm no longer a princess… Besides, Juin's kind of adorable, don't you think so?" Maris said, placing an arm around Juin's shoulders. "Plus, with his latest growth spurt, he's going to grow into a dashing young man in a couple of months soon…"

She then looked at Juin with a pair of sultry eyes, which made the teenage boy uncomfortable.

"Your ancestors were royalty once, even if that happened in another world, you are still a royal born. In my heart, you will always be a princess," Saville said with a charming grin. "And princesses should have out princes."

"But you aren't a prince…" Maris pointed out cruelly. "Or have you forgotten that your name is not in the royal family's book."

She then released Juin and walked away, heading toward the group of a.d.u.l.ts that were talking among themselves.

Meanwhile, Saville merely glared at Juin, as if blaming him for whatever that was happening earlier. A cold layer of frost appeared on Saville's face, before disappearing quickly when he noticed that some of the a.d.u.l.ts were looking over with stern expressions.

"Just you wait…" he murmured before turning and walking away to talk to others that he deemed more worthy of his conversation.

"It feels like I'm just gathering hatred wherever I go…" Juin sighed and mumbled to himself.

"You don't have to worry about him…" a deep voice suddenly came from near him.

Juin turned and saw a familiar face, who was walking while reading what appeared to be a manga with a very questionable cover. The drawing of the girl on the cover of the manga was borderline… p.o.r.n.

When he looked behind the newcomer, he saw that another group had arrived and was now talking to some of the a.d.u.l.ts from Presley's mansion. Meanwhile, the younger kids from this group were fooling around, pushing each other or bickering with each other.

"Odd... " Juin thought, because everyone from this group was tall, well-built, and they all looked similar to each other.

"I didn't realize that you'd be joining…" Juin said, looking at the black-haired boy, who was at least 8 cm taller than him and whose body was so packed full of muscles that some of the girls that had just arrived were already looking over and whispering among each other. The last time he saw him, the black-haired boy was still pretty normal looking and was probably around Juin's height now.

"Were you this muscular before?" Juin asked, unsure if his memories served him right.

The black-haired boy took a quick glance down at his body before shrugging nonchalantly. "My parents decided to force me into joining the stupid Battle since it's my last chance, and they made me go through some hellish training… Something about finding my potential and fate in this world."

He then glanced back at his siblings, who were making so much noises that they were at the receiving ends of glares and stares. The black-haired boy could not help but sigh quietly when he saw them fighting again. "Triplets. Werewolves always have huge brood… I can't wait to have some peaceful time soon."

"Are they also joining?" Juin asked in surprise as he looked at the younger kids, who seemed to be around 10 or younger.

"Yes and no," the black-haired boy said, "they would be joining the elimination battle as part of their training, but my parents disallowed them from joining the upcoming Battle, even if they get into the teams. They are too young, and we didn't need the prize money."

"Wolfe!" one of the younger kids yelled. It was a little girl with shoulder-length hair. "I'm bored!!!"

The black-haired boy, Wolfe Sterling, threw the manga in his hand to her and watched as she fought with a set of identical twins over the manga.

"Is it appropriate to give kids that age that book?" Juin asked, horrified. He had an idea what kind of manga Wolfe was reading when he accidentally saw a page of it when the guy was throwing the manga to his sister.

Wolfe mumbled, "It's not like they haven't been through my shelves before."

He then looked at Juin and said, "You grew quite a lot as well."

Juin smiled politely. "Lots and lots of training. I was way behind you guys after all."

Wolfe thought for a moment, looking at the other participants that were arriving one after the other, before saying, "Are you sure you want to do this? I know that we aren't close or anything, and we barely spoke a word to each other at St. Xavier, but the Battle is not a joke. You can actually lose your life."

"Then what about you?"

"I'm different," Wolfe said, putting his hands in his neatly-ironed slack, "I've been receiving training from the moment I was born. And I have had a few experiences with the Battle before as well."

"But every Battle is different, and this time, I heard that it's a first of its kind…"

Even so, you don't know the extent of danger…" Wolfe warned with a slight frown.

Juin smiled. "Thanks for trying to look out for me. I think I have to do this… For myself, and for those who have placed their trust in me."

"Well…" Wolfe sighed. Seeing the calm expression on Juin's face, he knew that it was impossible to convince Juin to drop his intention of joining the battle.

Instead, with a serious expression, Wolfe said, "Then, good luck at the elimination battle. To get the spot in one of the teams is not hard, but if you can't get into the top 3 teams… Then it's going to be extremely hard for you to survive in the other world, as most of the resources would have been given to the top 3 teams. At least I have my older brother Raoul to look after me. Do you have someone to watch your a*s for you?"
