To everyone's surprise, her slash did not reach the boy, and the boy had disappeared from where he was at a second earlier.

"What the…"

When she looked around, at about 50 meters from her, she saw a young man with a solemn expression holding the shaking boy in his arms protectively. There was a glimpse of anger in his eyes as he stared straight into hers.

"Who are you?!" First Princess Iris screeched as she gripped her sword tightly. She then yelled, "Guards, catch that intruder!"

She was about to move when she felt an overwhelming pressure pressing down at her, and she looked toward her brother.

True enough, the markings on his body were all lit up, indicating that he was the one who was exerting the pressure.

"Enough!" Crown Prince Renaud roared. When his sister stared at him with a displeased expression, he hissed with a hard voice, "Iris, that's enough I said. Do not test my limits!"

The princess wanted to argue more. After all, she knew that Renaud would never hurt her. But at the same time, she knew that if she were to argue with her brother, who was also the country's crown prince, in front of so many people and undermine his authority, she would be scolded by her father later.

Hence, she merely shot the intruder a death glare before leaving the arena with two of her female servants, who walked behind her while trembling.

Unfortunately, at that time, because he was in a rush, he was unable to confront this strange youth who dared to look at him in the eye.

"Who are you?" Renaud asked as he fed a few pills to his cousin, who was drifting in and out of consciousness. The youth dressed oddly. But based on his experience, Renaud could tell that the youth was someone from the world called Earth and that he was probably here for the elimination battle.

However, before the youth could answer him, someone else shouted, "He's with me!"

A voice came from above, and when they looked up, a group of people was descending toward where they were.

The guards nearby immediately got onto the defensive mode, until they saw the woman that was with this group of people.

"Ms. Lann!" Renaud greeted her the moment he recognized her. He placed an arm across his c.h.e.s.t, which was an act of respect for the people of this country.

"Crown Prince Renaud," Lann said with a smile.

"Please… Just call me Renaud. I'm not used to people calling me that," Renaud said with a smile. He then looked at the red-haired man standing next to her with his arms folded and asked, "You look familiar. Have we met before?"

"That's Tucker," Lann explained with a smile. "I think, the last time you met, you were still a teenager."

"Tucker…" Renaud repeated the name. His eyes then lit up, and he gasped, "'Firestorm' Tucker!"

He remembered it now. He used to watch "Firestorm" Tucker and his uncle, the late king, battled it out at the arena. Even though this guy's strength was in fire-based spells, he was able to match King Adam in terms of strength, at the latter's turf.

King Adam often commented, that if they were fighting in the sky above the ocean, he would have long lost the battle.

"Firestorm?" Cyrus peeked out from behind Tucker and looked up at the man. "I didn't know that you have a title."

Looking down at him, Tucker rubbed his nose with a finger as he mumbled, "Well, I don't like to brag."

Cyrus rolled his eyes. "That's like your favorite thing to do…"

"Is that your son, sir?" Renaud asked after paying respect to Tucker. "It's been so many years, and I've always thought that you are--"

"Stop it!" Cyrus snapped in annoyed tone. "How can I be his son? We don't look alike! And I'm not even a human! What is wrong with your eyes! Talking about eyes! Look at his small eyes! And look at my big, adorable, and watery eyes! How can he be my old man?!"

Hearing him, Juin rolled his eyes. For such a proud creature like the Zheng to be mistaken as a human's son, obviously he would feel insulted.

But for Tucker who did not know Cyrus' true identity, he was utterly shocked. His jaw dropped as he listened to Cyrus rant. Before he could say anything, Lann finally stepped in and said in a gentle voice, "Cyrus, right? I'll tell you something about DNA later on and why people might mistake you guys as father and son. For now, don't interrupt the a.d.u.l.ts, alright?"

"Erm…" Renaud looked at Tucker, who was facepalming himself, and Cyrus, who was pouting, and he then looked at Lann and decided to talk to her instead. She was always the easiest to talk to, even among other members of the Order. "Ms. Lann, that youngster is?" he asked, looking over at Juin who was now checking on the condition of the little servant boy, whom he had placed on the ground.

"Ah, that's Tucker's student."

"Oh? Mr. Tucker finally accepted a student?" Renaud looked at Juin from top to bottom, then from bottom to top. To him, Juin looked like every other member of the Order, so he could not help but wonder what was special about this guy, to the point that the loner, "Firestorm" Tucker, would accept him as his student.

It could not be just because of his ability to use fire, since there had been a few fire Elementalists in the Order before, and none of them managed to get him as his teacher.

"He must be strong…" Renaud said with a smile, hoping to get a chance to battle with the only student of this elusive man.

"No, he's weak," Luca scoffed, finally spoke up after a keeping quiet the whole time.

Cyrus nodded. "Yeah, he's not up to par yet. I can beat him in arm wrestling."

Even Tucker nodded. "He might be my student, but he still has much to learn…"

Renaud was confused by their statements, but he did not have the time to chit chat with them. He merely nodded at Lann and Tucker respectfully before saying, "I have to take Cecile to the doctor. As for the servant boy, if it's not too much of a hassle, I'll leave him in your care for a few hours, until I have the time to get to the bottom of this."

Lann smiled and nodded. "Don't worry about us. We know that it's hard for you to fight against your sister as well. Please take good care of Princess Cecile. We will see you at the banquet tonight, when your father returns from his trip."

Renaud nodded. He gave one quick glance at Juin before turning around and walking away.

Unknown to him, Cecile, who was in his arms, also gave Juin a quick glance.
