She slowly walked past the boys; her black heels making tap-tap sounds on the seabed, which seemed to be as hard as concrete, as she walked.

The boys could not take their eyes off her at all. For some reason, Juin's hand subconsciously found its way to Cyrus' eyes and closed them, but it was swiped off half a second later.

"Ouch!" Juin cried out, but his eyes were still on the woman.

If she were on Earth, she would easily succeed in the entertainment sector… except for one thing. The only thing that marred her current beauty... was the murderous look in her eyes as she stared at Tucker, which was kind of contradictory to the nature of her job.

Watching her slowly walk closer to Tucker, who was glancing around nervously as if he were deciding whether or not to run, Cyrus could not help but mumble, "She's even prettier than my mum… And more dangerous too..."

Juin nodded slowly, even though he had never seen Cyrus' mum before. He then frowned and looked at Cyrus with a curious expression as he thought, "Wait… Cyrus has been comparing people from Earth with members of his own kind…? But he mentioned that they usually stayed in their true forms back at home, only learning how to turn into human forms for fun. Isn't that literally comparing humans with felines? How does he even do it?"

Feeling the gaze, Cyrus looked up at Juin and asked curiously, "What are you thinking about?"

"N-nothing! Sshh!" Juin placed a finger on his lips and pulled Cyrus back a step. He then whispered, "I think there's something between the two."

And he based his statement on his observation that a scalpel had appeared in Adelie's hand.

"Oh, look who's that… Isn't that Firestorm Tucker?" Adelie said with a smile as she pressed the scalpel on Tucker's face. "How dare you return after burning down my clinic?"

When he felt the cold scalpel against his warm skin, Tucker could not help but gulp nervously.

"Hehe…" Tucker chuckled as he slowly pushed Adelie's hand away from his face. "That's a mistake. I was playing with Adam last time… and we went a little crazy. You know how we can get when we fight..."

They were actually testing out a spell that could incorporate each other's powers into it, but it went out of control, resulting in them burning up Adelie's clinic as well as a few other shops within 10 meters of it.

"Adam compensated you, right?" Tucker asked meekly. 15 years ago, he had immediately run off after he saw Adelie's thunderous expression when she realized that it was him. After all, King Adam was in the best position to deal with her.

He was her king, after all, and it was least likely for her to kill or threaten the king. Plus he had the money to fix up her clinics.

"Looking at all the new decor, I'm sure he compensated you well…" Tucker laughed nervously. "You should thank me instead… right?"

He immediately covered his mouth when he felt her killing intent getting stronger by the second.

As Adelie glared at him, it was as if a whale were deciding whether or not to swallow the lion that had somehow swum onto the sea. If she were to really attack him, no one else would dare to interfere or save Tucker from her wrath.

After a few seconds of tense silence, she took a couple of deep breaths before taking a step back from him. She then sneered, "They should call you Pyromaniac Tucker instead of Firestorm… Firestorm is too cool a nickname for someone useless like you… Why are you making so much noise at my clinic? Did you burn someone again?"

Tucker sighed. "That only happened twice, and that was because it was hard for me to control my power here… If we were up in the air, the real one instead of this water-air thing you guys have here, I would have been much stronger…"

When he saw Adelie narrowing her eyes and gripping the scalpel tighter, he quickly told her what happened earlier.

By the time he was done, the male nurse was sweating slightly.

Adelie looked at the remaining female customer and said, "Sorry that you have to witness this, miss, but the clinic is closed for today. I'll send someone to deliver your medicine later…"

The female customer looked at everyone, from the weird strangers in their weird clothes to the male nurse and the little boy, and she nodded, quickly packing her stuff and leaving the clinic.

Once she was gone, Adelie then looked at the male nurse and said in a tight voice, "Pack your things and get the hell out of my clinic. I have been wondering why I didn't get any lowborn in my clinic… So that's all your doing…"

"But Doctor Adelie," the male nurse said nervously, "I was trying to help you! If you keep helping those lowborn, you would go out of business here sooner or later!"

"That's up to me to decide," Adelie snapped. "And I have lots of money, so who cares about bankrupting one business or not! Get lost now, or I'm going to throw you out by force!"

"B-but my pay…" the male nurse wanted to continue defending himself when he felt something was wrong with his surroundings.

"What's going on…" Tucker mumbled as he lifted his hand to touch the "water-air" that was visibly trembling in front of him. Everything seemed so surreal all of a sudden.

The "water-air" around them started to get denser and denser as they moved toward Adelie, until they gathered around her, forming a scary-looking water octopus that had one of its legs gathered around the male nurse's neck.

"It's a pity that for someone with her looks, she chose an octopus to be her Spirit Beast…" Tucker mumbled, quickly moving behind Juin and Cyrus when Adelie wasn't looking.

Glancing back at Tucker, Juin "talked" with his eyes. "Are you seriously using us as your shield?"

"Shut up!" Tucker "replied" with his eyes as well. "You're kids, so she won't harm you!"

While they were still "talking" with their eyes… a shadow was thrown over their head.

BAM!!!

"Argh!!!" the male nurse cried as he hugged himself on the ground. From the impact, he had broken one of his arms.

"Don't let me see your face again!" Adelie yelled from where she was at earlier, and manipulating one of the octopus' tentacles, which shot past between Juin and Cyrus, hitting Tucker in the groin along the way, she slammed the door shut.

"F*ck!" Tucker g.r.o.a.n.e.d as he held his groin with a pained expression. "Still sneaky as ever…" he muttered in between breaths. "Are we even now?"
