The moment Luca turned around to catch Juin, the portal behind him closed completely without even a sound. When he turned to look back, he knew that he was in huge trouble.

"I'm going to kill that f*cking possessed human!" he gritted as he dashed into the sea again.

Luca and Wolfe, who were both faster, caught up to Juin shortly, and Luca had to be held back from launching fists on Juin. Floating in the seawater, he created an air bubble that surrounded all of them before shouting at Juin, "What the hell is wrong with you? The portal has closed! Do you know what that means?!"

He then stabbed Juin's c.h.e.s.t as he spat. "It means we are trapped here for at least 5 years!"

A guilty expression flitted past Juin's face, but he quickly hardened his look and pushed Luca away. "Your teacher is a f*cking big liar!"

"You shut your mouth!" Luca growled as he called upon two wind blades that spun above his shoulders, threatening to slice Juin into pieces if he were to speak ill of his teacher again.

"Stop it!" Wolfe snapped, standing in between them. He looked at Luca and said, "You're not helping this! The portal has already closed. I know you are angry, but there's nothing we can do about that now!"

He then looked at Juin, and after sighing deeply, he asked, "Can you at least give us an explanation? It's not like Ms. Lann to lie."

"But she did!" Juin ran his fingers through his hair frustratedly. "She said Cyrus was with Caelian and his guardian, but that wouldn't be right. I sent Cyrus to…"

He hesitated for a while before saying, "I sent Cyrus to watch over the royal jail, and if needed, he is to help Cecile escape. There is no way Cyrus would just leave the princess alone!"

As they continued moving toward the empty Terre D'eau, Juin explained everything to tell, of what the princess told them and what King Frederic might do to her.

"Have it ever occurred to you that your little pet might have failed the mission?" Wolfe said, dumbfounded.

"If he failed his mission, Cyrus would definitely not leave this place. He's the type of stubborn kid who has more pride than sense!" Juin defended his position.

"Like master, like pet," Luca sneered as he continued to steer the air bubble that they were in, expertly avoiding the schools of fishes that were heading the other way.

Ignoring him, Juin then said to Wolfe, "If he had saved Cecile, he would have dragged Cecile over to the surface and waited for my arrival before deciding what to do with her. He might think that I'm a loser, but he would still do that!"

Wolfe blinked, but after a while, he sighed. "What do you think might have happened?"

"Something has happened to Cecile, and Cyrus is either in the hands of someone or he's badly injured somewhere. Either way, I know he is still here, and I'm not about to leave him alone in this world! He…"

He gritted his teeth. "He's already all alone… And he has no one but me… I'm not about to abandon him."

Luca gave him a discreet glance, while Wolfe smirked.

"Well… I guess we are trapped here for a while. Let's find the kid first. We will figure out how to get out of here after that…"

"There's no way we can leave here… Not until the next opening of the portal," Luca said; his anger returning. He wasn't sure who he was angry at; Juin, or himself. He could have left that guy to die.

"I won't be too sure about that," Wolfe said suddenly, in a voice that seemed much older than his, as he looked at Juin with a weird expression.

When they arrived back at the border of Arconia, they could not help but hide and watch everything. They had thought that the capital of Terre D'eau would be empty by now, but they were sorely wrong.

"Are those… soldiers?" Wolfe whispered as he looked at the marching men. They were hiding inside an inconspicuous and badly-damaged building near the palace.

"They aren't Arconian soldiers. They aren't even Terre D'eau soldiers!" Luca whispered back as he looked at them. He then signaled them to duck when one of the soldiers suddenly turned his head.

After he was sure that they were safe, he whispered, "That's the emblem of Wisterion."

"Isn't that the country of the Crown Prince that Princess Cecile was accused of selling the information to?" Wolfe said, looking at Juin.

Juin paled.

"Someone has been played like a fiddle…" Luca sneered, shaking his head slowly.

"There must be a mistake," Juin murmured.

"There is no mistake."

A deep voice that came out of nowhere startled them, and they quickly jumped around and got onto a fighting position.

"Who's there?!" Juin asked.

"Scrutinizing Gaze…" Luca murmured, and a pair of light blue diagrams flashed in his eyes. While this spell was useless against a high-level demon like Lucifer, for normal living beings, he could still strip them of their invisibility. When the spell was active, he could make out the three silhouettes that were standing in front of them. "Who are you? Show yourself. I know there's three of you."

"As expected of the winner," one of the silhouettes said with a chuckle. The person quickly took form, and the two men standing behind him did so as well. All three of them greeted the teenagers politely before the man in front said, "My name is Master Shawn."

"Master is part of your name?" Wolfe asked with a brow raised curiously.

"No, but you should refer to me as such," Master Shawn said. He then looked at Juin and said, "My liege has extended an invitation to you, sir."

"Who is your liege?" Juin asked.

"The Crown Prince of Wisterion, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Warrick."
