Angels and demons were creatures that worked closely with humans. The job of angels was to guide humans to have a good relationship with God and with other humans, and they guided humans to the right path and prevented them from sinning.
Demons were the opposite of angels. When angels were guiding humans to the right path, then demons were guiding them to the path of Hell. Demons told humans not to listen to the angels and rebel against God instead.
They told humans to stop praying to God and started worshipping the demons instead. They encouraged humans to sin, and in the end, they would drive humans to Hell.
Angels and demons were two different beings, but they were working in the same realm with the same object; humans.
That was why they were forced to work side by side with each other. No, they weren't working together in harmony. Instead, they often fought with each other for the sake of their jobs. Humans couldn't see angels or demons, but angels and demons could see each other.
That was why Azren was confused because he didn't see any angels since he landed on the human world. He was about to ask about that matter to Orgonel earlier today, but Michy interrupted their conversation, and he ended up swallowing his curiosity.
But perhaps it was true that he couldn't see angels in his human form. Perhaps it was one of the consequences of the strong power of Lucifer. He could hide from the angels, but he couldn't see them either.
Azren had finished buying necessities from the supermarket, and he walked out of the supermarket with two large plastic bags in his hands. A wide smile plastered on his handsome face. He managed to buy a lot of things on a limited budget, so he was very satisfied.
With a light heart, Azren walked over to the elevator and pressed a button with his forefinger. He was waiting for the elevator door to open, and once it opened, he rushed in.
There were two people in the elevator beside himself, and he just nodded at them.
His mind wandered again, and he thought about the case at the jewelry store. The police managed to subdue the perpetrator and arrested him. Azren felt sorry for the villain, but he couldn't do anything for him.
The elevator moved up and up, and it opened and closed several times. Several people went in and out until it finally reached the penthouse.
Azren stepped out of the elevator proudly with two large plastic bags in his hands. He was ready to be praised by his new boss. He bought a lot of things for his boss, so his boss surely would be happy.
Michy didn't give him a key when he was about to go grocery shopping, so he needed to press the doorbell once again. Perhaps it was his mistake. Perhaps he should have asked for a key before he went out earlier.
When Azren was still cursing his stupidity, someone opened the door from inside, and he found grumpy Michy glaring at him.
"You should have brought the key!"
See? It was truly his mistake.
"I'm sorry..." The blonde apologized sheepishly.
Michy just rolled his blue eyes before turning around to leave the demon.
Azren sighed before stepping forward and closed the door again once he was already inside the penthouse.
Michy was sitting on the couch, and a pair of blue eyes gazed at him confusedly.
"Why did you buy lots of things? I think I only gave you a little money earlier."
'Yes, you indeed gave me so little earlier,' Azren answered in his heart.
But he didn't dare to voice it out and just grinned at the human. He then walked over to the idol and put the bags on the coffee table.
"I bought cheap things, so I could buy lots of things," the demons announced boastfully while showing what he had bought.
Michy looked down at the bags, and his blue eyes immediately enlarged. "You only bought vegetables and fruits?" He exclaimed angrily.
A bunch of green objects filled the bag, and it seemed Michy's blue eyes were allergic to green. He showed an expression of displeasure as he looked up at the blonde again.
Blue met green, and it seemed that Michy's blue eyes hated Azren's green eyes as well.
"I think vegetables and fruits are good for your body? Felice told me to take care of your health, and I can take care of your health by cooking you healthy food, right?"
Azren was looked so innocent while questioning the idol, and the said idol tried hard not to explode in front of the dumb demon.
"Go eat the vegetables yourself until your body turns green!"
Michy yelled once again, this time even louder than before, and Azren flinched in surprise. He made mistake once again.
"Do you hate vegetables too?" The blonde timidly asked the silver-haired boy.
Azren didn't remember he ever heard Michy spoke about his hatred toward vegetables, and he was sure he didn't remember it wrong.
He was waiting for an answer from the human, but all he could see was the human's face gradually turned crimson.
"I forgot to tell you that I hate vegetables too!" The young boy exclaimed once again before getting up from his seat.
Without waiting for a response, he stomped his feet toward the stairs and immediately headed to his room.
Azren was speechless, but then he giggled in amusement. "The cold idol MICHY can also feel embarrassed, huh?" He felt that it was funny, and it entertained him in a way.
He then shook his head and grabbed the plastic bags again. He would store the vegetables and the fruits in the fridge and would think about Michy again later. Probably he would buy some meat or fish later.
Azren finished storing the vegetables and fruits, he then decided to go to his room. He was exhausted, and he wanted to take a nap.
His room was right under the stairs, and he immediately pushed the doorknob before pushing the door open. And then he froze in his spot.
There, on top of his bed, a red-haired man was lying down.. NAKED.
