It was the evil Michy who was with him today, and he didn't have any plan related to the evil idol. Lucifer instructed him to focus on doing his job on the nice Michy, so he did as instructed.
They walked for a dozen minutes before they finally arrived at one of the meeting rooms in the building. It was the first time for Azren to attend a meeting like this, so he couldn't help but feel nervous.
After Felice opened the door for them, they could see several people already in the room. Based on their outfits only, Azren could tell that they were no ordinary people. They were the board directors in Seventius.
He subconsciously looked down at his appearance and cursed himself in silence, 'Why did I wear these ragged clothes today? The nice Michy had bought expensive clothes for me, but why did I decide to wear these clothes today? They probably think that I'm a beggar here.'
It was indeed an unfortunate decision because he chose to wear the first outfit that he wore when he just landed in the human world two weeks ago. It was the outfit given by Orgonel back then, and it was such cheap clothes that the color had started fading as well.
And he guessed it right because the people in the meeting room started observing his appearance from head to toe before displaying a disgusted expression on their faces.
'Should I just pretend that I have a stomach ache and leave?' He lamented pitifully in his heart.
"Who is he, Michy?" A lady in short blonde hair asked a question to Michy, but her blue eyes remained on the blonde man.
Azren and the lady both had the same blonde hair, but they had different classes in society. That was why the woman looked down on him without trying to hide her disgusted look.
Sometimes Azren watched drama on the television, and that type of lady usually became the antagonist in the story. Now that he met that kind of lady in real life, Azren couldn't help but think that he would be the pathetic protagonist who was bullied by the antagonist.
With that crazy thought in his mind, Azren ended up being more awkward under the gaze.
"He's my assistant. Don't mind him," Michy answered the question without looking at his assistant.
Even the idol didn't stand up to save his face, and Azren could only hold back his disappointment. Why did he still feel disappointed when it was the evil Michy's normal attitude?
"Oh? So it's the hero who saved our dear Michy at the beach? Come and sit down, handsome man. You don't have to feel awkward around us."
Another voice greeted his sense of hearing, and Azren shifted his gaze from the blonde lady to a man sitting on the far end of the long table. The man flashed him a fatherly smile, and the uneasiness in his heart dashed a little.
'But why did he call me a hero? That's kind of overreacting,' Azren couldn't help but wonder.
"Hey, Azren. He's the big boss here, so you better comply with his order if you don't want to lose your job."
A whisper came from his side, and Azren flinched a little. He glimpsed to his side and found Felice gave him a code to just sit down and stop standing like a fool.
Felice didn't tell him the details, but he could guess that the man was Seventius' president. Michy was his boss, and that man was Michy's boss. That was why Felice told him that the man was his big boss. The man had more power than the idol, and Azren had to behave himself in front of the big boss if he didn't want to lose his job.
Knowing that he shouldn't create a drama in the meeting room, Azren immediately positioned himself beside the female manager, sitting opposite Michy, who has previously placed himself next to the blonde lady.
And to his surprise, the blonde lady suddenly circled her arm around Michy possessively.
The sight caused Azren to furrow his brows. 'That kind of gesture is too friendly, I think?' He wondered in his heart but didn't dare to judge because humans' life was much more complicated than his simple thought.
"You promised to visit me in my apartment, but you didn't keep your promise, Michy," the lady spoke to Michy in such a seductive tone, and Azren became even more confused.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Lennon. I've been busy lately, and I didn't have time to visit you."
"How many times do I have to tell you to just call me Lea, Michy. You're such a naughty boy."
The two people weren't the only ones in the room, but they were like being inside a bubble as they kept talking to each other quite intimately. Yes, they indeed looked so intimate with the lady's left hand still embracing Michy's body, and her right hand caressed the boy's face sensually.
