In a place that was dominated by white color, two figures in white were talking with each other as they kept their eyes on the object in front of them.

"It's indeed him," one of the figures commented as he stared at the moving image in front of them.

"Do you think it's Lucifer's plan?" The other figure responded to the statement without tearing his gaze away from the image.

"You are not a new angel here, Rehael. Do you think you still need to ask that question?"

The one who was called Rehael smiled sheepishly at the other man. "It's not like that, Kezef. I just want to make sure that it's indeed Lucifer's doing. We can't be reckless with our assumption, right?"

Rehael and Kezef were two angels in Heaven. Their job was to monitor the human world, carefully looking at how the other angels worked in the human world.

Heaven. It was a place where there were only peace and love. There were no hatred, jealousy, envy, and also anger. Even the breeze was so calming, and no heart would remain dark and hard when the breeze grazed it.

Heaven was home for angels. God was the one who created the majestic space called Heaven, and He was also the one who created angels to live and work in Heaven.

As the creator of the creatures, God was highly respected by the angels. No one had a position higher than God, and all angels bowed their heads toward the only leader in Heaven. They were willing to comply with God's orders, and they were also willing to work for the great creator.

Indeed. Angels had jobs both in Heaven and on Earth. Some angels were responsible for the internal affairs in Heaven, while others had to do field works in the human world.

Kezef and Rehael were working in Heaven, but their jobs were related to human life. Other angels were going here and there in the human world to help humans walk on the right path toward God, and those angels needed to be monitored so that they wouldn't make the slightest mistake while working.

God trusted the job to Kezef and Rehael. The two senior angels were the ones who were responsible for the Glass of Life. The Glass of Life wasn't really made of glass. It was a transparent medium, but because of God's powers, it could show the human world just like how the surveillance cameras worked.

The only difference between the Glass of Life and the surveillance cameras in the human world probably was only the scope. Surveillance cameras in the human world had limitations, but the Glass of Life owned by God didn't know any limits. It could monitor the human world from north to south and from west to east.

The Glass of Life displayed the image of the human world 24/7, and not only angels and humans would show on the magical object, but demons could also be seen because they were working in the human world as well.

Demons came from the blackness, while angels came from a place that was bright and glorious. However, the two different beings still had to work on the same realm, which was the human realm.

Angels and demons worked on the opposite sides, and sometimes, they would crash with each other. The dispute between angels and demons was sometimes dangerous, and that was why Rehael and Kezef kept monitoring the Glass of Life without resting.

Angels didn't need to rest, after all. Even if some junior angels were ready to assist them in the monitoring department, the two leaders would choose to keep awake so they wouldn't miss a thing from the human world.

The current situation in the human world was peaceful without any harmful altercation between angels and demons. Some angels and demons would still argue sometimes, but there was no major threat that needed to be handled by other departments in Heaven.

The overall situation looked good, but just now, there was a strange vibration on the Glass of Life that managed to steal the attention of the two angels. That was when Rehael and Kezef started focusing on the Glass of Life to find what was wrong with the object.

They kept attempting until finally, they found the object that caused a vibration on the Glass of Life. And that was when Kezef could say that it was indeed 'him' earlier.

"What is he doing in the human world? He even disguises himself as a human and deliberately hides his demonic aura from us. I'm sure he's up to something," Rehael commented again as he kept watching at the moving image on the Glass of Life.

Kezef was watching the familiar figure as well, and he even furrowed his brows as if he was in deep thought.

"It's not him who is disguising himself as a human, but it's Lucifer's power. We both know that he's just a weak demon, right?" Kezef slightly disagreed with Rehael's words, but the latter didn't argue and nodded his head in approval instead.

"It's the first time Lucifer used his power to help a demon disguise himself as a human, and he surely has a plan, right?" Rehael asked the other angel again.

Kezef fell silent for a moment. The one on the Glass of Life was not a stranger for him. Many many years ago when he still had the field jobs in the human world, he often met the one on the Glass of Life by accident.

At first, their relationship was not good because the characters of the two of them were the total opposite. Kezef was an angel, but he had a strict personality and sometimes was a bit harsh with others. Meanwhile, the other figure on the Glass of Life was the total contrary of him.

Kezef was quite annoyed by the figure at first, but after getting to know the figure better, they gradually became friends. That was why the figure was not a stranger to him.

"Hey, Kezef. Are you listening to me?"

Kezef blinked his golden eyes before turning his head to Rehael. The latter was not a newbie in Heaven, but his age was still younger than him. At first, Rehael called him 'Senior,' but the way Rehael called him quite annoyed Kezef. That was why Kezef asked Rehael to drop the formality in the end.

"I'm listening to you," Kezef replied. "It's indeed Lucifer's doing, and he's surely up to something."

Rehael frowned at him. "Do you think our Lord has known about it? He's so powerful, and nothing in the human world can escape His eyes, but why didn't He say something about it? Do you think Lucifer successfully deceived our Lord this time?"

"You dare to say that Lucifer successfully deceived our Lord?" Kezef quickly responded to Rehael's question. "Our Lord is the strongest in the world, so how come Lucifer managed to deceive Him?"

Rehael realized that his word must have offended Kezef a little, so he placed his hand on the latter's shoulder and stroked it gently. "That's not what I mean, Zef," he clarified. "We both had replayed the recording on the Glass of Life, and we both knew that the person had been lurking in the human world while disguising himself as a human for more than two weeks. But our Lord didn't say something about it, so I'm just worried if our Lord didn't notice it until now."

"You shouldn't have doubted our Lord's power," Kezef returned abruptly. "Our Lord indeed didn't say anything about it, but it doesn't mean He didn't know about it. Perhaps He is just pretending to be clueless while waiting for Lucifer's next action."

Rehael didn't immediately respond to Kezef's statement. Instead, he brought his head to the Glass of Life again. There, on the moving picture, he saw two figures sitting on a couch. One figure rested his head on the other's figure, while the latter talked to the former with a happy smile on his face.

The sight made Rehael frown. "What is the planning with that human? He's been with that human for more than 2 weeks, but he didn't really cause harm to that human. Instead, he's been treating that human so nicely, to the point that he even kissed the human right on the lips. I'm worried that he's planning something dangerous to the innocent human."

Kezef remained quiet even after hearing Rehael's opinion. He indeed witnessed how the familiar figure treated the human in the human world. Rehael was curious, but Kezef was actually beyond curious.

However, Kezef kept his curiosity in his heart. He knew something Rehael didn't know, but he didn't plan to let his partner know about it.

"We should just keep an eye on the two of them. Our priority is not only him, but it's the human as well. If we notice something dangerous with them, then we will need to report to our Lord.. For now, let's watch the drama directed by Lucifer first."
