After the dust caused by the Ki blasts resided, Only two black hand sized crystal were left behind.

" I know I can't devour you with my ability. But I am capable of devouring your divinity, that you don't have under your control and the divinity itself is not resisting against me. Devil God who had invaded Ling Tian's soul in order to take possession of Ling Tian's body had actually attacked the black vortex deep within Ling Tian's soul.
This action of Devil God, undoubtedly provoked the Devouring Force, which resulted in the Devil God's soul being sucked into the mysterious black vortex, despite his resistance. The Devil God had attacked the black vortex thinking that it was the soul core of Ling Tian, as he couldn't sense anything because he didn't have even the tiniest bit of soul power.
