Cheng Mo walked out of the room, he wanted to find Xue Tinghua originally, but he remembered the conversation he had with him earlier through the door. He felt a little embarrassed, so he headed outside. The Jiang family’s estate was large, but Cheng Mo was not very interested in seeing the pavilions, rock gardens and ponds. Seeing as the weather was not too bad, he thought of taking a walk around Suzhou alone. While leaving the Jiang family estate, no one came to stop him. As he stepped out of the main gates, he heard a cold voice behind him: “Please give way.”
Cheng Mo turned around and saw Qin Fangchuan on a sedan chair together with the two children carrying the chair. Cheng Mo turned sideways to let them pass through. The two children carried Qin Fangchuan’s sedan chair and walked out without looking back. Qin Fangchuan had a serious expression on his face and he didn’t even say thank you. Cheng Mo laughed lightly, not taking his rudeness to heart, and walked out of the gates and headed in the opposite direction to them. He didn’t have a destination, he was just walking around to relax and improve his mood. This was not the first time he was here in Suzhou, but he was always in a hurry during his previous visits and it was rare to have such a leisurely stroll around the city. Cheng Mo did not walk far, he had only walked through two streets before he came across Qin Fangchuan again.

It was in front of a pharmacy on the corner of the street. The soft sedan chair was placed outside the door and the two children had entered the pharmacy. Only Qin Fangchan was left waiting outside, covering his mouth as he coughed lightly. A child ran out of the pharmacy with a sheet of paper in his hands and he handed it to Qin Fangchuan to read. When Qin Fangchuan nodded, he trotted back into the pharmacy. When Cheng Mo was about to turn around and leave, he saw a man who passed by Qin Fangchuan suddenly pull out a short knife hidden in his clothes and stab towards him. Qin Fangchuan quickly leaned back and the sedan toppled over. Qin Fangchuan’s body rolled on the ground to avoid the knife. The person who was attacking him was obviously not very skilled in martial arts, so he pulled back the knife and waited until he regained his balance before swinging the knife towards Qin Fangchuan again. Cheng Mo had already stepped between the two of them, he hit the man’s wrist with one palm and grabbed the knife from him with his other hand. The man struggled for a moment, but he couldn’t break free. Cheng Mo pressed his shoulders and pushed him away. Seeing that he was about to approach again, Cheng Mo stretched out his hand and tapped an acupuncture point on his chest to paralyse him before turning around to help Qin Fangchuan up. Qin Fangchuan’s face was pale, he was gripping his chest and breathing heavily. When Cheng Mo reached out to help him, Qin Fangchuan firmly grasped Cheng Mo’s arms with one hand while panting and he forced out: “Medicine! Medicine…”

At this time, the two children ran out of the pharmacy. One child supported Quin Fangchuan and pressed along his chest while the other took out a white jade porcelain bottle from his bag and retrieved a pill from it, bringing it to Qin Fangchuan’s mouth. Qin Fangchuan ate the pill and closed his eyes, raising his head as he tried his best to calm his breathing. His hand was still firmly gripping onto Cheng Mo’s arm. Cheng Mo saw that his knuckles were white and he couldn’t help but worry and he asked: “Are you okay?”
Qin Fangchuan did not answer, but he slowly let go of his hand. Cheng Mo stood up and looked at the man whom he had paralysed and asked: “Who are you? What grudge do you have with Immortal Doctor Qin?”
The man looked at Qin Fangchuan and sneered: “Pei! Is he worthy to be called an immortal doctor?”
Qin Fangchuan had caught his breath and was helped up by one of the children. His cold eyes fell on the man and he questioned: “Who are you?”
The man yelled: “My surname is Guan! You caused my father to die!”
Qin Fangchuan’s triangular eyes showed no emotion at all. “I don’t know you and I don’t know your father.”

The man shouted: “That was because you refused to treat him!”
Qin Fangchuan replied: “Oh? That means he deserved to die.”
“You!” The man’s expression was filled with indignation. He was so angry that if he hadn’t been paralysed, he would have rushed towards him. Hearing this, Cheng Mo wanted to persuade the two of them, but expectedly, Qin Fangchuan was helped by a child onto the sedan chair and he waved his hand to signal the children to take him away. Cheng Mo just felt that he was eccentric and he did not understand human emotions so he did not stop him, he just shook his head and laughed to himself as he watched him leave. However, Qin Fangchuan had not gone far when the man next to him suddenly screamed and his face twisted up in pain. Cheng Mo quickly unparalysed him, only to see him fall to the ground before curling up and rolling. Cheng Mo asked: “What happened to you?”
The man’s voice trembled and he said: “My whole body feels so uncomfortable, it was him, he poisoned me…”
Cheng Mo was startled and looked towards the direction where Qin Fangchuan had left and chased after him. Cheng Mo pulled on the sedan chair and said to Qin Fangchuan: “Where is the antidote!”
Qin Fangchuan covered his mouth and coughed. The child next to him pointed towards Cheng Mo and said: “What does this have to do with you?”
Cheng Mo said seriously: “That man did not injure you, why did you have to resort to such vicious methods?”
