Within the heavens, a lot of commotion has been stirred. There were talks going around and, many of the minor gods were in a sort of crazed panic. There were already some of these deployed to investigate but, ultimately, the [Main Deities] had an emergency meeting. Planning on the steps which should be taken as soon as possible. One which began with a shout the could even be heard from outside.

"DAMMIT!!!" Sinclair smashed the table in an instant. It was made by the Forging God to go against even a calamity level monster. Yet this sturdiness seemed to be insufficient for a pissed off Goddess of Light.

"Hey, we just got that Sin." Chrono said, snapping his fingers and restoring the table to a time before it was broken. Meanwhile Sinclair slouched on her chair, with one hand on her head.

"How the hell was he able to get past us without our knowledge?" Sinclair continued. With her brows almost meeting in frustration. In fact, it was on a level that far surpassed the antics of Zeke Elwood. Placing Pier on the top of persons she is annoyed with. Mainly consisting of only the two mentioned.

Pier did not only escape heaven but dared challenge the gods. What's worse is that, they weren't able to respond to his challenge, allowing the minor god to feel superior even over the three [Main Deities].

"Well he is the god of mischief and deceit after all. You'd expect it to be his specialty at least." Chrono said in reply, trying to think of a method out of the predicament as much as he could. Yet, both he and Sinclair knew that the only one who could get them out of it was Nisha.

A goddess who sat together with them.

"The good news is that we know where he is headed. The only route leading out of the [Ruined City] is Mythos. That's his only option for now. Yet…"

"Yeah we know. The elites are in danger because of this. They can't handle the level of a god." Sinclair added, feeling a headache slowly form.

"Plus he's got Glade whom he put a Chaos Crystal on." Chrono furthered.

"Gee thanks Chrono." The Goddess of Light sarcastically remarked.

"No problem." Chrono said, giving a thumbs up which somehow irritated Sinclair even more.

"How did he even get his hands on something like that? And how on earth does he know about it?" Sinclair said, remembering that Pier had a complete [Chaos Crystal] with him.

There were many parts of history that were taken out. Specifically, every detail regarding the Monarchs of both [Order] and [Chaos]. Sinclair, Nisha, and Chrono were the sole survivors of everything that happened. This was the truth of it all yet, it is only the three of them who knows about it.

"That's not something we can resolve at the moment." Nisha said, removing the other two from their train of thoughts.

"What we need to focus on is how we can stop Pier and save Mythos." Nisha furthered.

"Well yeah but we signed a treaty didn't we? We can't see what's happening there anymore nor can we interfere." Sinclair said.

This was actually their main problem. The rule was supposed to be a measure against all possible threats to the elites. Yet, this same choice backfired on them because, the only way for them to enter was to strip off their divinity and become mortal.

This was the thing which Pier referred to when he issued the challenge back on the [Ruined City]. About the immortal divines needing to take the flesh of mortality just to stop him. But this was too dangerous because, anything could kill them at that point.

"He used our own move against us. Dammit!" Sinclair slammed the table, cracking it and making Chrono repair it again.

"Why do I feel like we've bene playing under his hands this whole time?" She furthered, with a smile forming on Nisha's face. One which the Goddess of Light didn't miss.

"Why are you smiling?" She furthered; with the Goddess of Darkness looking at her with a childlike wonder.

"Well we're not exactly the deities of wisdom now are we? We all have our respective domains and limitations. We may be gods but we are in no way omniscient." Nisha declared.

"Still! How did he go unnoticed all this time?" Sinclair added.

"There's no use crying over spilled milk, we should think of a plan right?" Nisha suggested, wanting the discussion to go back on track. Avoiding things that may be attributed to her.

"Oooh looks like you have something in mind? What is it?" Chrono said.

"It's simple. We call back the heroes deployed and make them go to Mythos." Seconds of silence followed this. The two of them couldn't believe that something was suggested and, it was Sinclair who voiced this out.

"What? Are you insane?"

"Insane?" Nisha repeated.

"You know that we can't do that. The humans we've sent are the ones restoring the balance on the worlds they've gotten sent to. If we take them out, then what would the world they're saving turn to?"

"Oh relax will you. We won't be taking all the heroes, just some of them. Those who've done well in making capable allies and have almost restored the balance on the worlds they've been sent."

"Hmmm that does sound reasonable." The God of Time agreed.

"Chrono!"

"Well it is right Sin?" Chrono furthered.

"Before you argue let me explain further. I believe that our dear God of Mischief has been harvesting power somehow. If this is the case then, by destroying Mythos he may be able to achieve something. A kind of power which goes beyond anything we can handle."

"Is that even possible?" Chrono asked.

"It is if the power he is garnering comes from the [Monarchs]." Nisha continued, with his fellow main deities understanding the full weight of her words.

"Now tell me my dear goddess of light. What is more important? The salvation of a few humans or the safety of the very beings who created them?"

"It's funny. For a moment there you sounded just like him." Sylvia commented, referring to the same god who dared make a mockery of them.

"Oh is that right? But do you disagree with the logic of my words?" She furthered, getting no response from Sinclair.

"We cannot just stay benevolent all the time. For things like this, we need to make hard decisions ones that, as you said, made me sound like Pier."

"I agree with Ni-Ni. It is only this once that we make a choice as this and, it may create a lot of destruction. Yet not as much as the one which could be created if Pier gets enough power to destroy the gods." It was the first time Chrono spoke so fluently. He wasn't just a boy at that moment. He was serious.

"A lesser evil must be sacrificed in order to prevent the greater evil from arising. Now choose." It was a checkmate. There was no going around it anymore. With two of them agreeing to the idea, Sinclair could do nothing more but to go along with the terms. No matter how much it went against her code.

"Fine."

With this, the three [Main Deities] have finally agreed to the plan. Veteran heroes from all over the worlds would be called back to the [Heavenly Realm]. They would be told of the objective and how they need to move as a group in order for the mission to succeed.

Blessings would also be endowed on them. Increasing their chances of survival no matter how uncertain this variable might truly be. Aside from this, the meeting was to be held with the minor gods as soon as possible. This would all be done swiftly because, they didn't know just how much time they had left before Pier accomplishes his goals.

With this, the three of them finally finished their meeting. Yet, Sinclair just couldn't shake the feeling that Nisha has changed somehow. Everything from her mana to her movements matches the Goddess of Darkness but, there was something different. There was no evidence of anything of course and so, she just brushed off the idea. Thinking that it was crazy to assume that Nisha was part of the plot.

But she was. Or rather, the man wearing her mask was.

Nisha returned to her realm and as soon as she did, she began laughing hysterically. Something which the real goddess would never do. She then began shifting forms and returning to the original state of the one making use of her. Pier.

"Oh man, to think that it'd work as well as it did. This is just golden HAHAHA."

What Pier did was simple. The crystal he kept on top of his staff was actually a [Chaos Crystal]. He hid this by using his powers as the god of deceit. Cloaking the item to look as nothing more than an obsidian rock.

Here, he stored his powers while also harvesting all the negative emotions of the mortals who lived. Waiting for the moment for his plans to finally commence. And this opportunity finally came with the rule created by the [Main Deities]. Preventing them from interfering with Mythos for a period of a whole year.

Thus, even before this rule was established, Pier dropped his crystal to Mythos. He placed this on one of the [Elites] without their knowledge. This crystal then escaped and took the form of the silhouetted figure. One which held half of Pier's strength and identity while the other half remained on the heavens. Preventing any suspicion from ever arising.

He then moved to taking down Nisha and harvesting her strength. Because based on the knowledge he gained, Nisha was just another [Monarch of Chaos]. Thus, he could easily imitate her aura because, residing within him was another [Monarch of Chaos]. The third one who is finally revealed.

Vardus Nevermore.

The father of Nisha and…

…the man responsible for the destruction of all the other [Monarchs].
