This building is the inn, and there is a window open and a woman looking out of the window.
"The source of this whirlwind is coming from the centre of the city?" she looks towards the middle of the city but not at any building as she cannot seem to tell where the eye of the storm is.
"Send word back, say that I will stay in the capital for a while longer." she tells the girl in white next to her.
"Yes, elder!" the girl in white replies.
"This person should only be transforming into the realm of Qi flow, if this person is collecting such a vast amount of qi, it would not take him or her more than two years to break into the next realm…" she mutters to herself.

Back in the shower, I am amazed at my stats.

After cleaning myself up, I realise that the sun has already set and it is night time. I wonder just how long my transformation in to the realm of Qi flow took. Anyway, I head downstairs for dinner as I feel hungry.
When I reach the dining hall, my parents and siblings are already having their dinner. It seems like they did not wait for me as they thought that I would take a while to finish cleaning myself up, given how badly I smelled.
As soon as I sat down on my seat, my mother started passing me my bowl of rice and she put some of the other side dishes she kept from me since my brother and sister would have eaten them all.
"How do you feel? You are now in the realm of qi flow" my mother asked.
"I feel stronger. My eyesight is stronger too. Mum, what is the next realm and how do I cultivate now?" I ask.
My father then took over the conversation and say "Shi er, I have discussed this with your mother, your transformation created a huge whirlwind and some people will be looking for you. They would believe that you have huge talent and potential and will want to draw you to their side and use you to achieve their own agendas." he said in a serious tone.
"You should not cultivate a way a qi flow cultivator does right now but continue pretending as if you had not transformed. Your mother will try to get you a good cultivation technique for the qi flow realm before you return from your riding circuit.
Anyway, when a cultivator transforms into the realm of qi flow, he will practice a cultivation technique that will allow him to create whirlpools that would constantly absorb qi from the heaven and earth.
"So far, the best cultivation technique that we know of is able to create eight whirlpools. The family's cultivation technique will only allow you to create five and the majority of the immortal sects will allow you to create six." he explains.

As I pass by the training area, I make a mental note to myself that I should practice with the training dummies later.
As I enter the briefing room, everyone is already there eating their breakfast. They seem to be eating some stewed pork buns and spring rolls which are commonly sold by the street hawkers. Each bun or spring roll only costs about 20 copper coins which are considered cheap.
The commoners in the empire use common metals as currency when trading. A hundred copper coins are equivalent to a silver ingot, and a hundred silver ingots are equivalent to a gold ingot. A hundred gold ingots can be exchanged for a gold bar but gold bars are not used when buying or selling, but instead for families to amass money and 200 gold bars can be exchanged for one spirit stone.
Merchants may also trade using bank notes, which was initially created by large merchant firms. However, soon it became confusing as every merchant wanted to use their own firm's bank notes and the empire stepped in to take over and introduced their own bank notes.
There seem to also be a huge case of corruption which caused many people to suffer but when I asked about it, nobody seemed to want to talk about it…
