When I reached the top, all the men were lying on the ground.
Some were missing their hands, some their legs.
Blood was coming out of some, and some were just lying on the ground because of the big hole in their c.h.e.s.t.
Daulla crushed the head of the last man, as blood gushed out of his body, covering both mine and Daulla's face red with blood.
"Dau...lla?"
"Lil...Das"
The ground itself was dyed red with their blood.
"Lil...Das. You are...okay?"
Daulla slowly approached me and touched my face with her red hands, and hugged me.
"I am sorry, Lil Das"

"Please forgive me"
I hugged back and said, "I am glad you are okay"
I am glad she is okay.
I could feel her heartbeat on my c.h.e.s.t. It was beating like crazy.

"Thank you for being safe"
"I was so scared"

We stared at each other, said nothing, not a single word.

One of the bodies tried to attack Daulla from behind. The driver came with a gun and shot him in the c.h.e.s.t.
The body stopped.

He shot the body again, and it fell down.
Daulla opened her eyes and looked back.
"Sorry, I was late" the driver said.
"It's fine. Dispose of everything. I will go back to the palace with Lil Das"
"Here is the key" the driver said, throwing the key.
Daulla grabbed my hand saying, "Let's go, Lil Das" and dragged me to the car.
I opened the back door--
"Daulla grabbed my sleeve and said, "Sit on the front with me"
Her voice is a little shaky. Her hands are trembling too.
I hugged her and said, "Sorry for making you worry"
"You are being awfully nice"
"It's only for today. I will listen to your every request"
"Do I really need to tell what happened ten years ago?"

She shook her head and said, "Promise me, whatever happens, you won't hate me"
