Long Sha and Min Qing looked over at Min Hong in shock and a tinge of awe.

Somehow, they felt and understood now that, Min Hong was someone who was full of mind-numbing surprises and that they can never know what he was fully thinking per time.

So, when they heard that statement, they just bottled up their curiosities.

For some reasons, they preferred being kept in a suspense and wait till he surprises them once more.

------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, as they stepped out of their carriages and approached on foot…

In another different dimension….

Within this pocket dimension, there was a single world the size of the largest super earth…

This world was divided into two by the two major seasons…

It was always winter on one half of this world and summer on the other…

Furthermore, within this world there was a floating continent-sized land, the size of the entire Australia way up in the clouds.

This place was only second to the promised Heavenly Paradise.

It was a place Fairies, Elves, Dwarves, Dragons, Phoenixes and humans called home.

It was like a paradise island…

Island as in the fact that, apart from the mysterious waterfalls which were falling from the sky down on the rest of the dimension forming rivers, seas and oceans, the clouds also acted in a way that further accentuated its island nature.

Its definition of an island was more like a land surrounded by clouds, and within this island were several distinctive and privatized patches of land seemingly divided into regions and provinces.

But the thing that made this island more spectacular was the fact that it was always spring all year long.

But at the centre of it all, was a Gi-normous castle which was the larger than the entire East Wind Empire and Dogon Empire combined.

This castle was sitting on a land of about ten thousand square mile and was where the Imperial **** Clan which was the overlord of this pocket dimension called HOME!

Within this massive castle was a massive hall the size of a football pitch.

There was a gathering currently in session consisting of about twelve to twenty people within; there were about nine on the left standing in a line facing another nine people on the line on the right.

The atmosphere was very heavy as these people were radiating fearsome cultivation auras and the weakest of these auras seemed to be in the 7-Star Celestial stage level.

There was a massive throne which kept flickering in and out of existence and on it sat a pale skinned, thick-built, tall, handsome youth with silvery hair and a handsomely cold face.

This youth seemed to be in his early twenties despite his disposition arguing him to be about double that of his appearance.

To his right and left were two middle-aged men radiating a calm aura, but lurking within was also a violent, domineering and brutal aura which seemed to be asleep.

Though, he was sitting in the position of the highest authority within this hall, he didn't seem to radiate any shred of aura that might possibly give any glimmer of hint into his personality.

He just leisurely sat there seemingly unfazed and unbothered by the stuffy and heavy atmosphere.

In fact, it was like he wasn't even feeling a shred of pressure at all from these people as he sat there with his elbow to the armrest of his throne and his fists to his chin.

He seemed to meld into nothingness and radiated no cultivation aura.

He had his eyes closed and had a very harmless vibe to him as he leisurely waited for the currently arguing elders to finish their bickering amongst themselves.

There seem to be a tense argument going on within the two groups who seemed to have conflicting ideas about a certain matter.

The hall seemed to be in a different timeline because other than the space within it, the rest of the entire dimension seemed to be in a current state of pause, like as if the timeline of the entire dimension was on hold.

The Elders within this hall were arranged in the order of increasing authority, starting from the entrance of the hall towards the flickering throne where the youth was currently sitting atop.

The throne sat high above everything else as the two middle-aged elders to the youth's right and left were standing beneath the throne, whilst the rest of the Elders were also standing beneath them making these Elders look up to these two middle-aged Elders and finally look even further up to see their Clan Head who was the youth on the throne.

Then came four Elders two on each side who wore white robes which had a black scale balance embroidered on it.

This scale balance was like that of the impartiality and obligation of the Law.

This clearly signified that they were the Elders of the Law Enforcement Hall of this massive clan.

Then after these Elders came the fourteen Elders who were still bickering with themselves with seven each standing on opposite sides of the other.

Then continued to argue for a while until, the middle-aged man standing to the left-hand side of the youth on the throne turned towards the arguing Elders and still with his eyes closed, he slightly scrunched up his brows, Then;

Boom!

Every one of these seven Elders who were respected individuals of this massive clan felt a heavy pressure descend on them as the man leisurely bellowed; "Quiet Down!".

Immediately he spoke, all these Elders were forced to take a step backwards as the heavy pressure dispersed their aura which was suffusing the hall and they all went mute.

The Elder who just scrunched up his brows then turned to the youth on the throne and asked;

"Your majesty, what is your verdict on this matter?"

The youth turned towards the people on his right who were all wearing white robes with the golden embroidery of a Deva with six arms holding a spear, sword, hammer, bow, and two hands clasped together in a praying manner.

It also wore a shield worn on its back and an image of an equinox-like sun on its forehead with the reflection of the sun shining on it from above its head.

When these robes fluttered, the image embroidered on it will seem to switch the weapons in its hand to anyone under the Divine Realm.

Then still with his eyes closed he spoke; "Elders of the Deva Hall, rest assured that I will surely give you a satisfactory verdict on this matter…"

Hearing this, all the Elders to his right bowed simultaneously as they chorused their thanks.

Then he turned towards the Elders to his left who were all wearing black robes with an embroidery of a sea of blood in its centre and then a six-armed Asura walking out of this sea of blood with a chain, glaive, sabre, axe, scythe and a gourd.

This Asura had purple flames surging out of its eyes and a nightmare inducing eerie smile on its face.

It also wore a shield on its back and had a blood crescent moon image on its black forehead.

Then still with his eyes closed the youth asked;

"Elders of the Asura Hall, you will fetch the disciple who had breached this regulations and hand him over to the Enforcement Hall for his punishments."

"Though demonic and dual cultivation is permitted within the clan, there are also strict regulations which governs these cultivation practices, and if my memory doesn't fail me, using a member of this Clan or ordinary mortals for cultivation is not permitted."

"Thus, for breaking this sacred rule, that disciple will be handed over to the Enforcement Hall for his retribution or punishments."

"Probably this would furtherly deter any other disciple who thinks the eyes of the law can't reach them due to the enormity of this clan. That is my final verdict."

The moment he finished his statement, he returned once again to his earlier demeanour as if he never even spoke in the first place.

"But your majesty, it is my son we are talking about here. I beg you recon-"

An Elder from the Asura Hall who apparently was the father of the disciple being discussed mistakenly took a step forward and tried to plead on his son's behalf.

But before that step could land, the middle-aged man who scrunched up his brows earlier turned towards the Elder and only opened his eyes by a very tiny slit and gazed upon the Elder, Then;

Bam!

Instantly, the Elder was blasted over a hundred metres backwards, and despite covering that much distance, he still didn't reach halfway across the hall.

The Elder threw up one mouthful of blood after the other stopping after the fifth, painting the white mirror-like jade floor in blood.

He looked up to the to the middle-aged Elder and saw that from that opened slit, his left eye was glowing a blinding blue light while his right eye was erupting with a golden light.

The moment the rest of the Elders saw this, they all blanched in fear.

They all knew that the middle-aged Elder was currently pissed off, so they immediately pleaded;

"Imperial Seasons Sage, please have mercy! We plead that you to grace us with your endless calm and serenity."

They all clasped their hands as they bowed slightly to the middle-aged man who shut his eyes and then snorted at the Elder who was just miserably blasted away;

"Hmph! Are you trying to make his majesty reiterate his words?"

The moment the Elder heard that he instantly became terrified as he scrambled to his knees and slammed his forehead on the jade floor and begged;

"I dare not do that, Seasons Sage. Please forgive the insolence of this useless subordinate…"

The rest of the Elders then chorused at the bloodied Elder looking to simultaneously remind and chastise him;

"His majesty's words are absolute; his majesty's words are commandments. His majesty's verdicts are just and true, it cannot be reiterated and neither can it be falsified."

"Those who heed to them are blessed by the nine heavens and the Divine Devas, those who refuse to heed to them are tormented in the nine hells and punished by the Netherworld Asuras."

The moment the bloodied Elder heard this reminder, regret and guilt surged within him as he realized that he had just committed the greatest crime within the entire pocket dimension.

Furthermore, this crime is punishable by having one's bloodline to be publicly disgraced and dishonoured before being wiped off the history of the clan; Trying to make the Emperor take back his words!

This was the most heinous of all crimes and it is very comparable to rebelling against the Imperial Clan.

The other middle-aged Elder who stood to the right of the throne turned to the youth and asked; "Your majesty, what is your verdict on the rebellious actions of this Asura Hall Elder?"

The youth seemingly sighed at the entire matter seemingly bored and tired of the thought currently running through his mind.

But he still looked to the bloodied Asura Hall's Elder and spoke; "Mercy!" Then he returned to his earlier unbothered demeanour.

When the bloodied Elder heard this, deep joy and immense gratitude surged through his heart as he instantly made several mysterious hand seals and pointed towards his dantian.

Immediately, he shattered an entire stage from his cultivation, dropping his power level from the 8-Star Celestial stage to the 8-Star Immortal stage level.

After that, he returned to his position amongst the Elders of his Hall who looked at him pitifully before everyone chorused;

"His majesty is kind with abundant grace. An entire bloodline lineage gives their heartfelt gratitude to the mercy you have shown them today!"

They all fell to their knees and kowtowed towards the youth on the throne as the two middle-aged Elders also bowed to their waists to him.

The youth then raised a hand and spoke; "That will be all for today, you are all dismissed."

After he said that, the middle-aged Elder standing to the right of the youth raised his left sleeve as the timeline of the entire dimension resumed once again.

Then when he brought down his left sleeve, the space behind all the Elders cracked open as they all retreated into it with their heads bowed and their hands clasped towards the youth on the throne.

Then the moment they entered; the space closed up as they were all transported to their respective destinations.

Then two middle-aged Elders looked towards the youth and sighed;

"Your majesty, we have troubled you out of your closed-door seclusion due to our incompetence."

"This decision was one which could cause a split or bad blood between the two Halls that is why the Enforcement Hall brought it to us."

"But we were unable to make the right call also, so we had to contact you."

They youth then smugly replied with a smirk; "I was already done with the seclusion anyways, so there is no need to apologise."

When the two middle-aged Elders heard his statement, they were shaken to the core as a terrific tremor went through their hearts.

It was only moments after that the Seasons Sage stuttered; "Y…Your majesty has managed to merge-" but before he could finish the youth nodded to confirm his deductions.

The moment they saw him nod with a smug smile, they two middle-aged Elders nearly chocked in sheer frustration.

Though they were both well over ninety years old as they are twins, they were able to comprehend eight Daos, including two Ancient Daos and one Legendary Dao before they were forty years of age due to their monstrous talents.

Then it took them about ten years to merge a Supreme and an Ancient Dao into one to become Great Sages, then about another ten years to merge two Ancient Daos into one to become Ancient Sages.

But what stifled them and frustrated them the most was that, when they began to merge one Ancient Law and one Legendary Law to become an Immortal Sage, this youth had just begun to take his first steps then.

But now in less than forty years, he had done what took them sixty years to achieve; He had just broken through to become an Ancient Sage.

This is something that was unheard of even across all ancient realms.

To find a forty-year-old who was in the Peak of Celestial stage and about to breakthrough into the Demi-god stage, to have also comprehended five Natural Daos, three Supreme Daos, three Ancient Daos and one Legendary Dao.

But now he had also broken through to become an Ancient Sage, with a potential to become an Immortal Sage.

Leaving the fact that he is in his late forties, there is no one who had achieved what he had done; Comprehending a dozen Daos.

It had never occurred before in history of the Physical Domain and neither does he have any peer in the present nor did they feel he would have any in the future.

They both recovered a little while later and bowed to their waists as clasped their hands towards the youth and respectfully complimented;

"Congratulations your majesty on becoming an Ancient Sage. Your future is boundless and potential reaching through to the Spiritual domains."

The youth heard this and sighed softly before waving off the two middle-aged Elders who were actually Ancient Sages as he spoke;

"Thank you, you may both leave now. I have a matter to settle now and will come find you when I am done…" The two Elders heard this and nodded their heads in apprehension.

The other Elder who was known as the 'Wandering Sage' due to an unknown reason waved his sleeves one again as space cracked open before they both stepped into it and vanished with the closure of the space crack.

Then the moment their presence left the hall, a portal abruptly appeared within the hall very close to the youth and an elderly man who looked to be in his late sixties walked out of the portal seemingly exhausted.

The moment the youth saw this man, he quickly stood up and bowed slightly to this elder as he greeted;

"More Daos to your bosom, master. Why have you returned so early?"

The elder then proceed to sit at the foot of his throne as he looked towards the boy and spoke;

"I left you for ten years and you only just became an Ancient Sage?"

"It seems you have been slacking off with your cultivation and partaking in the menial matters of the clan again." The elder grumbled lazily.

"Anyways that is not the main reason why I came here."

The moment the man spoke to this stage, his voice became solemn as he looked to the youth and spoke in a grave tone;

"Someone just tampered with your son's karma thread, and it was a very powerful person."

The moment the man spoke, the youth who had a calm and lazy atmosphere around him suddenly lost grip of his cool for a brief instance and a potent, brutal and imperial aura burst out of his body.

He immediately restrained himself but that brief burst of aura rippled out of his body in a ring-shaped shockwave manner.

But as this ripple slammed into his teacher, it passed through him like he was not even there and continued on to smash into the walls of the hall which lit up with numerous mind-numbing protective runes which tried to contain this aura but all began to fade off the wall one after the other.

After a brief instance, all the runes within the hall dimmed off as the entire hall finally blew apart with a loud explosion which reverberated throughout the entire island before the soundwave rippled out of the hall into the surroundings approaching the residential areas of the clan members.

The moment the soundwave was just a few metres away from the first residential home, the two Ancient Sages who just left the youth appeared on the roof of the house and released their First Step Demi-god stage cultivation aura to battle the ripple of the soundwave coming from the explosion of the hall.

The moment the soundwave slammed into their auras; they were both blasted ten metres away as their innards roiled before they each threw up a mouthful of blood.

After that they looked up and saw the incoming ripple of the youth's aura approaching them.

Apparently, the soundwave caused by the explosion of the hall came first before the youth's aura then spilled into the surroundings.

They both blanched in fear as they nodded towards each other and sent a mental transmission;

"Grand Elders, we-" but before they could finish, the space behind them cracked open as a feminine scoff burst forth from the other end of the tunnel.
