She was not told, this was something she had witnessed by herself, so how could she not feel dread when something she spent almost all her energy on defeating was turned into a puddle of molten bones and organs right in front of her two eyes…

"And you think, you all would have survived for this long if this Queen of theirs was truly awake?"

Elder Jun spoke once more as a very ridiculous realization hit Elder Yun which caused her to finally slow down and abruptly turned around…

"Do you mean to tell me that-" Elder Yun asked as she sharpened her eagle eye by squinting her eyes, trying to pierce through the swarm of butterflies and find the anomaly amongst them…

But no matter how hard she squinted her eye or stretched her neck, she was unable to notice anything out of the ordinary, so Elder Jun simply turned his gaze over to the fear inducing swarm of about a thousand puddle flies…

Then he squinted his eyes as about one hundred swords made out of nothing but Metal Dao Qi suddenly began to materialize out of thin air…

Then he stretched out one of his fists as all the Qi sword pointed towards the incoming swarm of butterflies, then the moment he spread his palm towards these flies, these swords tore through the air as they began to slice and dice these flies…

Wings, bodies and appendages began to rain down from the sky as several Dan Formation stage flies lost their lives;

"Can you see that?"

Elder Jun asked calmly with his palm still outstretched towards the flies as the rest of the Qi swords followed one another like a royal convoy…

Elder Jun didn't target any specific puddle fly, rather he was trying to paint a picture to the Elder Yun trio and have them come to an understanding of what was happening on their own…

This was because it is better for a student to think they came up with the solution to a problem on their own rather than being led by their teacher…

That sense of accomplishment is what drives and determines if a student would love the subject being taught or not…

But to Elder Yun who was a beast, a cultivating Magic beast at that, which was also in the nascent soul stage, though she needed some extra help to figure it out, she wasn't a tactical newbie, so she instantly got the message as she screeched to the sky causing the breeze in the surrounding area to continually get fiercer and fiercer until the entire area was raging with deadly, sharp and violent winds…

"They are definitely trying to secretly escort something and thought they should use our fleeing to have us act as a convoy of two nascent soul and two Dan formation stage beasts to repel and deter every possible problems they should have encountered on their own..."

"And they did all these by simply pretending to be after us... such precise calculations... not only would they have to guess the direction we were most likely to flee through, but also tactically position themselves to accurately guide and drive us like a flock of sheep..."

"That level of mental and logical reasoning can't be done by these vermin.... thus it should be what they are escorting that did the planning for them..." She reasoned to herself as a massive realization hit her...

Then she looked over to Elder Jun and blurted; "Whatever it is, help me get it..."

"Tch… To think that you had the guts to use us in such manner, you all are courting death… Hmph!"

With a flap of her massive ten meter wings, the tornado of wind blades whipped into the swarm of puddle flies who quickly readjusted in time like a pack of sardines ball evading the onslaught of sharks…

As the wind blades approached the swarm of puddle flies, what Elder Jun was trying to tell them began to reveal itself gradually as these butterflies seemed to clog themselves into a ball at the core  of the swarm, it was from this place that the 7 Star Nascent Soul aura was originating from…

Krreeet!

Screech!

Several flies began to shriek and screech as they were ripped into shreds by the sharp tornado of a wind that was rotating at about 500 miles per hour with about 7 meters in diameter…

Then with Elder Yuns pack of extremely sharp ten inch swords, these swarm of Peak Dan Formation flies stood no chance in the slightest as their population and swarm began to thin out revealing what seemed to be about 100 puddle flies intently and seriously guarding something they currently shrouded…

"To think we would meet and hibernating Puddle Fly Queen here in this part of the forest, I really haven't wasted today…"

Elder Jun happily muttered with a smile as his combined attack with Elder Yun earlier finally sought out after the position where something was being shrouded…

These guys were soon ripped apart from within their formations as Elder Yun saw what they guarding was actually two cocoons, with one of them which was about the size of an adult's fists and gold in color attached to a smaller white cocoon that was about half the size of the gold cocoon…

Elder Yun then flew out in an arc before grabbing the free falling cocoons and returning to Elder Jun and giving it to him;

"Since there are two, I would like to give one of it to my young master whilst you can always give young master Long Sha the other one…"

Seeing the stumped expression on Elder Jun's eyes and knowing that he might want to reject the good gift, Elder Yun added;

"We both did our part in retrieving them, so it is only normal that you get your part in this also…" Elder Jun who was still standing atop his flying sword then received the cocoon from Elder Yun before he asked;

"So which one of them are you planning on giving young master Fei Hong?"

Elder Yun then looked at these two attached cocoon and though her logic and physical senses told her to pick the gold cocoon which had the Puddle Fly Queen currently hibernating in possibly because it was undergoing an evolution...

The moment the thought crossed her mind, the Queen's 7 Star Nascent Soul aura weighed down on them, though a little lighter as the cause of that pressure was either currently unconscious or not targeting them, but was both in this case and as a result, the pressure wasn't too heavy on them, rather it just evoked the respect of a superior amongst them…

But as for the white cocoon, not even an ounce of aura was leaking from it as it only kept spreading a feeling or sense of peace and calm out in ripples which when it landed on Elder Yun and Jun, they felt their minds and soul grow calm as their thinking speed ran at full capacity…

More importantly, anytime Elder Yun gazed at this cocoon, a sense of fear began and continued to grow within her…

This wasn't conflicting with the current peace they were feeling which was within their mind and soul, this was a type of fear that was induced directly into anyone with a lesser or inferior bloodline…

Just like cultivators who dominate and induce fear and respect into their surrounding population, it was the bloodlines that suffered this competition in the beats world…

"I pick the one in the white cocoon…"

The moment she finished making that statement, everything within at least a hundred mile radius abruptly froze in a spot like someone had paused their timelines, and this was including the Elder Yun group who were in a very close proximity…

Then the color of the world within this land span suddenly turned into a green and grey world…

Every color within this hundred mile radius turned grayscale and if one was to see things from this point of view, they would notice several glowing figures of different colors ranging from white – scarlet black…

If one took a further look into this frame and scene, they would notice that this seemed to be the soul realm as Elder Yun's soul was abruptly pinpointed and targeted…

When her soul came to view, it was like someone flipped down the lens of a [Flip-up round-eye] glass.

Then another dimension washed into view, but this one was filled with several green lines with over a hundred thousand of them attached to Elder Yun.

Then a new line appeared out of the thin air as it attached to Elder Yun's soul before it was then attached to the white cocoon with its other end…

Then this line began to undulate as a very mysterious energy began to flow from within the cocoon into Elder Yun before tracing through her soul and finding where the line which held Elder Yun's first memories of Min Hong and then it began to feed this mysterious energy to the line until a type of link was then created between them…

"Hmm… A good fortune?!"

Little Wu from where he was busy cultivating at the 'Bridge of Ancestors' felt a mysterious sensation hit him as his eyes snapped open before turning green-grey, and after about ten minutes, his eyes returned to normal as he sighed with a deeply happy smile on his face;

"He was connected to a bad fate recently, but now that good karma had been sown between him and something as good as this, at least I now have the assurance that he is going to live through that bad fate…"

Deep within the void, there was an old man with a thin cane in his hands treading through the void so leisurely that one would think he was just taking a stroll in his backyard garden…

The moment those lines from the cocoon and that of Min Hong connected to one another, the man paused slightly as he gazed towards a certain direction before he muttered;

"What is it with this boy and luck?"

The old man then opened his previously shut eyes by a tiny slit and the space around him shattered under the immense pressure they felt from him unsealing a little part of his powers…

One of his eye slit glowed bright silver and the other greenish-grey like that of Little Wu earlier, as this man pried into space with his left eye, everything instantly began to zoom in, through dimensions over dimensions, and. galaxies into galaxies, before it came to a stop in Min Hong's world...

With another massive zoom it landed on the Dogon Empire where the Saint stage expert of the Imperial Clan of the Dogon Empire suddenly appeared over the sky above the imperial castle, he made several hand seals and spoke respectfully to the sky;

"Which respected and venerable elder has graced my Dogon Empire with their regal attention?!"

This Saint stage expert could obviously sense that the person who was peering into his Empire was very much stronger than him, moreover, there was a deep and pungent stench of royalty oozing from this person's intent which is why he used the word 'regal' in his form of address…

"Watch your tongue weakling… You dare use the word Empire to qualify yourselves despite how  tragically weak you are?!" The old man, though, spoke calmly, still had a glaring sense of rebuke in his tone…

"With your weak cultivation and meager Dao, you rightfully claim to be the strongest within this patch of dirt, but if you think that's the extent to the powers that exist within your realm, then you must be sorely mistaken…"

The old voice continued calmly like he was just chiding his young cousin...

But when the Imperial Supreme elder heard the term 'your realm' his heart trembled in fear as his back soaked itself in buckets of sweat;

"I am very sorry to have disrespected your majesty on my first encounter… I am Chu Huang, may I be graced with your majesty's name?"

Elder Huang knew this mysterious expert was very far away from him currently, but he would never have expected that the distance between them was so great that he would die from old age if he ever thought of traversing such distance…

"As for the title, my great grandson has taken over that position… As for calling your little establishment an Empire, only those with Celestial realm experts have the right to call themselves an empire…"

"And lastly, as for my name, you're not worthy to know of it…" The old man lectured before adding;

"Normally, we wipe out civilizations like yours who claim to be an Empire… so when you talk to strangers next time, be sure to keep the empire part out of the conversation till you are absolutely sure what kind of person they are…"

"Lastly, you ought to be killed for speaking back to me, when I haven't given you the permission to, even immortal stage experts would be beheaded if they tried it…"

"But because your approach wasn't too rude and the task I am about to assign to you which you will carry out from the shadows, I shall spare your life…" The old man spoke once again…

"Speak great elder, this little one shall carry out your requests and dare not fail…"

Chu Huang, a Supreme Elder of the Imperial Clan of the Dogon Empire, and on top of that a Saint stage expert, actually went down on one knee and referred to himself as 'Little one'…

Chu Huang knew that if everything this old man was saying was true, especially with the aura coming from him which at least confirmed it to be 80% true, then he would most likely be able to ruin the empire it had taken him three generations to build with a simple fart from his old butt…

Thus, he dare not think of anything else other than to lowly and humbly placate this man and pray he is not one of those eccentric nuts who would cause a genocide because your nose itched and you actually scratched it…
