He allowed the vengeful souls fist strike to land squarely on his chest, as his chests caved in deeper whilst the bones, flesh and muscles around the strike area began to decay and rot whilst Min Hong was sent tumbling another fifty feet away causing him to puke black and rotten smelling blood when he finally stabilized himself to a stop…
The moment he stopped Min Hong began to feel all the Yin, Death and Darkness Qi in the area begin to surge over this position and begin to surge into the part of his body which had already been corroded by the Death Qi from the vengeful soul's previous attacks…
His thigh was now growing weaker as he began to wheeze between breaths just because the massive trench that was now present on his chest were not healing fast enough…
Cough! Cough! Splurt!
Min Hong had two deep and massive coughs as he puked out a mouthful of pungent and black blood as his golden soul was now having the black blotches on his chest and thigh gradually and ever so slowly spread to other part of his body…
Seeing that its prey had been weakened, the vengeful soul then decided to move in for the kill and follow through with its true intentions, which was to take over Min Hong's soul rather than feed on it…
Thus, the vengeful soul bolted and slammed into Min Hong within a tenth of a breath…
The level of speed that this soul just exhibited was something that even Min Hong wasn't sure he would be able to achieve, as the vengeful soul bored its way into his soul…
But instead of revealing a painful expression or blurting an agonizing scream, Min Hong simply smirked cunningly as Daniel muttered within his mind;
"Target acquired and trapped..."
Then he quickly found a spot just about a few feet from his position which wasn't a cave per say, but was just a simple depression under a cliff-like structure where the cliché lions from modern day earth usually climb before they actually roared…
Then there were also several shrubs and flowers growing around this depression which masked the depression from the sight of others and also their senses due to the potent amount of Death, Darkness and Yin Qi that was billowing within this dark depression and even Min Hong wouldn't have found it if the momentum from the vengeful soul's fist strike hadn't luckily landed him by the edge of the depression…
Thus, he jumped into the hole before noticing that it was a little bit deeper than he thought, because he fell for about fifty feet before landing at the bottom…
The moment he landed, the purer Qi within the hole made the rate of the spread increase as Min Hong began to feel weak and dizzy…
"It is better if you come in here, that way the healing properties of your healing process can slow down considerably and allow these energies to seep in better…" Little Fei suggested as Min Hong muttered in response;
"It is all or nothing… hope this works…"
Min Hong then shut the eyes of his soul as his consciousness descended deeper into his soul where he found the vengeful soul not only being surrounded by Little Fei, Daniel and the drooling soul of the Yao demon, but also being tied to his Primus Dao Tree like a captive about to be interrogated…
"S, how did you say this will work again?" Min Hong asked as Little Fei responded;
"Based on the knowledge we have about snatching a Dao from a soul and the deviating properties of the 'steal' function of the [Codex of Myriad Paths], all you have to do is defeat the soul and refine it…" Little Fei began to explain…
"Then after it has been weakened, you will find it's Dao tree and all you need to do from then on, is to call out to the spirit of its Dao tree, and if it responds to you, then you will be able to face its tests and then if you pass inherit the Dao…" He said in one breath…
"But the most difficult part of everything has already been achieved which was how to convince the soul to actually try to possess you instead of feed on your soul…" Daniel added…
"Yeah, if it had fed on your soul, our deaths would have gone to waste because, all your Dao comprehension would have been wasted as the spirit of the dead cannot comprehend any other Dao asides from the one it had been cultivation before death…" Little Fei explained…
"Furthermore, it seems the soul itself had been injured recently and is already in a weakened state before fighting you, thus, the extra energy it expended must have reopened that injury or sped up the effects of the injury…"
"But for it to actually refrain from absorbing you means it is considerably a smart vengeful soul and not one which was just completely driven by anger, regrets and pain…"
"If it had fed on your soul, it would have only partially recovered from its injury which meant that, if it ran into another soul of equal strength, it might actually lose and then be devoured…"
"But by hiding within you, not only will any soul not know that it was there, he could also use bide his time and completely recover before deciding to either possess you or dimply eat you up from the inside out…" Little Fei spoke…
"But, little did he know that I was never alone in the fight…"

Then finally it stopped and even began to recede as the Yao Demon soul which Min Hong, Little Wu and Old Man Li had planned on making one of Min Hong's Dao Nascent Soul…
Then Min Hong would have to choose only one of the Daos within the Yao demon's soul and then merged it with himself…
