Then behind them all was the first elder, who with his Wood Dao could provide the entire group with instantaneous healing and also looked to restrict Min Hong with his vines, thereby giving his comrades a better angle to viciously attack Min Hong from…

And thus, the real battle just began… Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

The three attacking grand elders split apart and bolted towards Min Hong, one from his left, the other from his right and lastly the strongest of them all, the fourth elder descending from above…

Stretching his right hand outwards, Hammer, Earth and Metal Qi gathered together and formed a massive titan like sledge hammer and whacked it downwards towards Min Hong's head…

At the same time, the second elder repeated a similar gesture as Water, Sword and Wind Qi gathered together, with the Water Qi forming a brilliant clear blue looking sword which was furtherly coated with the Wind and Sword Qi to sharpen its edges, as the entire sword began to hum...

The third Elder on the other hand, though made the same gesture, brought out his Soul Flame Qi which was also infused with the Spear and Metal Qi which formed a long giant spear, as he sent it hurtling towards Min Hong…

Wham!

Swoosh!

Schweein!

The sounds of something heavy bearing down alongside that of a something bolting through the air and finally something splitting the air apart rang within Min Hong's ears…

The three attacks menacingly approached Min Hong, whose eyes was currently shut, then he muttered;

"Alright, let's see what we are capable of!"

Min Hong abruptly snapped his eye open as a Yellow Colored Spirit Ring burst forth from his body, sending out ripples of immense but sealed and potent power…

Then his aura erupted as the image of a humanoid figure clothed in some sort of hooded cloak…

"That's not right…"

"Is that a spirit ring???"

"What kind of beast is that!?"

The three incoming elders sent a mental transmission to each other when they saw the physical manifestation of Min Hong's spirit ring…

Though it was visible and a very large figure, it was still made entirely out of Qi and various other forms of energies, just like the hammer, spear and sword the three elders just formed… [See the Old Novel Cover for the image of this figure…]

But the moment Min Hong took his first step, thousands of thick but flexible green wooden vines erupted from the ground as they flailed around looking to latch onto Min Hong in any way possible, but Min Hong's eye simply glowed golden green as he began to see several spots on the ground being highlighted and line up in a pattern that ensures untouchable exit from what seems to be the forest of vines…

Then Min Hong tried to test one of his theories as he looked up into the sky towards the three incoming attacks, and just as he had predicted, he saw these highlighted points arranged themselves from the ground into the sky…

To top it all off, these steps also rearranged themselves depending on where Min Hong intends to be his end point, Min Hong simply gave an elated smile as he moved through the air using his [Chaotic Shadow Steps] which when he merged with the 'Parry Path' of the 'Eye of Infinite Dao' made his movement even more chaotic, erratic and unpredictable…

But Min Hong didn't stop there, boosting his movement with the Tribulation Lightning Dao, storm clouds abruptly began to gather overhead as several muffled thunders began to rage within the clouds, and then;

Blitz!

Min Hong flashed like lightning as his feet began to cackle with a truly pissed off streams of lightning bolts, causing all the vines on the ground trying to restrict his movement began to shrink back like an earthworm in the presence of salt…

Min Hong flashed through the field of vines as the first elder saw his attempt to restrict Min Hong fail miserably…

But he wasn't going to give up as he jerked his arms and stretched both his arms up…

Rumbling sounds began to erupt from underground as Min Hong saw several cracks begin to stretch out towards him at almost 90% his current speed;

"You're really trying, unh?"

Min Hong sneered towards the first grand elder as the attacks which had been traveling the distance of over 10 miles eventually got to him, Min Hong leapt into the air intending to clash with the incoming attacks head on, when something erupted from underground almost at the same moment…

Min Hong didn't need to look back because everything within the range of his mental sense was being displayed in a three dimensional view into his mind…

What he saw was a giant thorn vine which had poison coating every single one of its spikes…

In fact, they were coated with so much poison that it was literally dripping onto the sand, before letting out a [Ssss!] sound which was caused by the sand which were melting into puddles from having these poisons drops fall on them…

At this point Min Hong had thought that was the end, then the thorny vines elongated at a blinding speed as it reached out for Min Hong, who was growing ever so slowly far away from its reaches…

All of a sudden the first elder bit his tongue and smeared his blood into his hand as the vines speed and length increased until a loud boom echoed from underground and a very giant and massive poisonous cactus grew out of the ground…

It was only now, that Min Hong realized that the vine that was chasing after him was just one of the arms of the cactus itself…

Despite using his life blood to power the technique, Min Hong rendered the attack useless by simply clenching his fist as one of his eyes turned silvery…

The space in front of Min Hong shattered as Min Hong for the first time in his life, entered through the Space into the Void…

Before Min Hong exited from the end point of his spatial movement, he had two brief sensation…

The first was that, the sense of someone looking after him from the shadows increased significantly when he was within the void as he looked towards a certain direction...

Though, he couldn't see anything other than the pitch black void, he was also looking towards the direction where the sensation was coming from, at exactly the old man who was threads through the void…

The same old man who gave pointers to the grandfather of the current Dogon Empire's emperor; Chu Huang…

"Eeh!? He can see me?"

"No, I don't think so… It must be a gut feeling of his… Interesting!"

The old man within the void muttered to himself when he saw Min Hong look in his direction… though, Min Hong could see nothing even with the 'Eye of Infinite Dao', this old man could see everything as clear as daytime…

Not because the 'Eye of Infinite Dao' was weak but simply because Min Hong was not powerful enough to wield the amount of the power of the 'Eye of Infinite Dao' needed to gaze and peer through the void…
