"What!?"

"Isn't that the Sect leader of the Flame Phoenix Sect!?"

A common-folk who had come to simply watch the battles exclaimed…

"Yes! She is definitely the one… The phoenix crest on her cape is made out of diamond…"

"Their grand elders have gold on theirs, thus she must be the sect leader!"

Another folk answered as some people looked away from Kun Chaos battle to see the person who had arrived…

"Sect Leader Mei, of course we dare not…" The cloaked figure replied…

"Ha-ha ha, Lu Tao, you are here too!"

A loud laughter reverberated across the entire arena as a man also floated into the arena…

"That is the Sect Leader of the Saber God Sect!" Someone blurted within the stands as everyone looked over to them;

"Kong Lao, what do you mean? Of course I won't miss such an event for anything…"

The figure who was cloaked in black smoke responded to the man who was stepping downwards on empty air, as he approached the seat allocated for him and the two male disciples behind him…

"I see your personal disciple has now turned into your retainer, Kong Lao…"

The Merchant Alliance Head subtly insulted the Saber God Sect leader when he saw his personal disciple carrying a massive Saber Blade that was almost as tall as the youth himself…

The giant sabre had a purple hilt and a large blade which had several flaming runes etched onto it…

Definitely it was a ranked weapon, but no one knew if it was a Bronze Tier or a Silver Tier Weapon, but from the aura they were sensing from that weapon, it definitely gave the man at least a 50 percent boost to his Flame and Sabre Daos…

"Kun Chao Vs Bai Gu!"

The Elder announced Kun Chao's ninth opponent, which was one of the top ten strongest outer court disciple…

Bai Gui was seventeen and he had a cultivation base of the peak Dan Formation stage with two Mid stage Intent Level Daos of earth and water…

Thus, Kun Chao knew he would have to take action this time around…

Stepping out of his ring of fire pits, Kun Chao dashed towards Bai Gui with nothing on hand which caused Bai Gui to frown in displeasure;

"If you think I am unworthy of using your Daos against, then you must be courting death!"

Swoosh!

An earth golem erupted from the ground, standing at about 10 metres tall with an arm that had a girth the size of the very pillars that supported the 'Reaper's Lair'…

Then just when everyone thought it was over, Bai Gui's Water Dao surged as a river of water appeared out of the thin air, before morphing into the shape of a python which coiled around the incoming golem whose every step shook the entire arena like an earthquake was happening…

Kun Chao was like an infant when compared to this golem in size, but just as they were about to clash, Kun Chao stretched his hands backwards as his flame pit surged out with rivers of flames which began to morph into several swords, both great and small, broad and thin, jagged-edged and smooth, about fifty flying flame swords;

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

One after the other the swords whistled over towards the golem who simply clenched its fists and threw two punches;

Kaboom! Kaboom!

The air in front of the golems fists exploded as the shockwave blasted the swords apart, but there more than thirty swords, and as a result, the remaining twenty swords stabbed through the golems before exploding, blasting out a chunk of the golems limbs...

Kun Chao used that opening to attack his opponent who was behind the golem, but just as he flew through the hole that was around the golem's belly, he saw a massive whip of water lashing towards him…

Cack! Clack! Clang!

Boom!

Two different sounds could be heard, with the explosion greater than the other; which seemed to be the sound of metal stacking atop metal…

When the residues of the explosion cleared up, the crowd saw the whip of water to be the tail of the water python which had initially coiled around the earth golem from the start…

Then they saw a huge flame figure which had its arms crossed in a defensive stance, and when the figure separated its arms, it turned out to be Kun Chao…

But the point is, Kun Chao was simply standing in the chest area of this flame figure... [See Susano in Naruto for reference…]

Kun Chao was at the heart of huge flame figure which was dressed like a samurai ninja…

"Is that Law Level Flame Dao!?" The Merchant Alliance Head blurted in shock;

"Not even close! Old Pops, has your brain began to fail you!?"

The Sect Leader of the Flame Phoenix Sect ridiculed;

"That is nothing other than the top stage Intent Level of the Flame Dao!"

"But either ways, it is still something to be shocked about…" She added with a scrutinizing gaze at Kun Chao;

"The Desert Sun Sect's future looks bright from what I can see…"

"They even have three outer court disciples taking the 'War God Challenge', I have never found any disciple as brave as that in the last five decades…"

The Sect Leader of the Ghost King Sect spoke from under his smoke cloaked hood…

"Lu Tao, I appreciate the fact that you hold our disciples in such hopes!"

A voice rang across as three figures fleeted into the arena…

"Are those-?"

"The third, fourth and fifth Grand Elder of the sect!?"

"Why have they all come to the 'War God Challenge' of ordinary outer court disciples?"

"Fifth, I am pretty stating the obvious, no one has challenged the 'War God Trial' in my sect in the last fifty years, but you already having four in the space of ten years!?"

"That is no ordinary luck you have there…"

Sect Leader Lu responded as he gazed towards the Fifth Grand Elder who waved his sleeves causing the space between him and Sect Leader Jia to ripple…

Bang!

The space shattered but there was no sound…

Sect Leader Lu was shoved but the Fifth Grand Elder continued his descent with leisure;

"I see you have also made improvements also… Congratulations!" Sect Leader Lu spoke with respect…

Though they were mates in terms of power and talents, but the sect they were both associated with were on two different levels…

After all, their own sects were like training grounds for the Desert Sun Sect…

All these sect leaders who have been discussing since the battle began were lower when compared in comparison to the Desert Sun Sect which was the fourth strongest Sect in the entire Dogon Empire…

Thus, the Dogon Empire took all these sects who were focused on one form of Dao and made them affiliates…

Thus, should the Dogon Empire recruit a disciple who was very talented in terms of flames, they send such a disciple to the Flame Phoenix Sect so that they can groom the disciple till he or she becomes the strongest expert in terms of the Flame Dao in the entire Dogon Empire…

If they came across a disciple who was talented in terms of the Saber Dao, likewise, they send such a disciple to the Saber God Sect to give the disciple a better chance at realizing his full potential…

These disciples would still be a disciple of the Desert Sun Sect, but this transaction would be like; [a Loan Move Between Football Clubs in Modern Day Earth…]

Thus, these smaller sects get to use the disciple for a while, and when the disciple realizes his or her potential, they return to the Desert Sun Sect…
