This was especially when they came across another solar system which according to Little Ming's parents, was something so scarce that some people might teleport through the void all their life and never cross the path of such a sight…

It was like being in space and crossing the earth's solar system; from the Sun, to the edge asteroid belt…

Meanwhile…

It was dawn in the Desert Sun Sect, and everyone couldn't help but feel a deep sense of release when the curfew had been totally lifted…

The Sect Leader had predicted that the rumors from the other night would most likely bring him a lot of headache, and that is without considering the fact that the Patriarch of the entire Empire is only about 300 feet away from him and would expect him to curb the rumor and news from spreading…

But luckily for him, Fifth had already gathered some students and told them to begin to spread the news of not only the induction of Min Hong's group into the inner sect, but also about the news of Min Hong challenging the 'War God Trials' of the inner sect on the same day…

Then before long, the entire sect though could still remember what had transpired between Min Hong's group and the sect elders, including the eventual death of Xi Mei and Yue Yao, they were still rather buzzed by the fact that Min Hong was about to challenge the 'War God Trials'...

To them it felt like he was just too contemptuous and would rather see his ass whooped, thus they all came out with a renewed betting vigor, just like Mu Li, who woke up very happy for some strange reasons…

Min Hong had already dressed up and was currently sitting cross-legged in the living room, not to cultivate, but rather to settle his mind and get himself in perfect shape for the set of battle ahead…

"Have you prepared yourself with everything I have given you?"

A middle aged man sitting on a meditation mat asked with his back turned to a boy who knelt and bowed in utter respect;

"Yes father, I have both the sword and the powder here…"

The youth replied as he rubbed the spatial ring in his hand;

"Good… This is a favor the Clan Leader of the Yue Clan had made directly to our Clan Head before I was assigned to make it happen…"

"Your brothers have both been defeated miserably by this boy and you are the only one I know who can still stand up to him with the three treasures I have given you…"

"I have pulled a favor from the elder in charge of the battle, and you will be allowed a fraction of time to use all three of them…"

"Don't disappoint me… The face of our Clan depends on it as well as our position within the clan also…"

"You will not like to see our family relegated to the status of a Branch Family, forced to feed of the scraps from the main clan, right?"

"I promise you father, I'd rather not return than fail…"

The boy spoke with sheer solemnity and determination oozing from all over his body…

"Good… This is for the Shen Clan…"

The boy who happened to be the toned Shen Tang smashed his fist into the floor causing a spider web of cracks to form around the point of contact;

"For the Shen Clan!"

"This is for your sister, Xi Mei… You must make sure that hateful brat pays with his life, am I clear!?"

An old man's voice bellowed from within a very luxuriously decorated hall which actually had several glowing gems etched to its roof to produce a subtle but bright ambience to the otherwise dark hall…

A youth of about seventeen years was knelt on one knee in front of this old man, wearing a black embroidered cloak of the Desert Sun Sect…

"Clear as crystal, grandpa!"

"Take this, it should help you with your task!"

The old man flicked his finger and a blur shot straight into the youth's hand;

"You may leave!"

The old man who didn't even spare a glance at the youth the entire time, simply waved his hand in a dismissive manner and the boy left…

"Father, that is nothing compared to the level of agony my Mei'er suffered!"

A lady with swollen eyes came into the hall being supported by two other ladies who compared with the outfits of everyone present within this hall would be classified as nothing other than maids…

"Don't worry Ping'er, I will head over to the sect myself and request for her body, and see for myself just how much they made her suffer…"

"Then I will request for the people involved to be delivered to me personally, and i will bring them over to you, so that you can torture them however you like…"

The old man said with a trembling tone as he watched his beloved daughter who he dotes on a lot get hauled in and out the hall because she had grown lean, pale and weak from shedding too much tears…

Then with a swift turn, the old man blurred and disappeared, signifying his insane level of speed…

Meanwhile…

Back within Min Hong's apartment…

Min Hong sat there, eyes closed and in some sort of trance, but the strange thing about this seemingly ordinary scene was the fact that, once in a while, Min Hong's figure would flicker and blur for a while before solidifying once more…

He had only planned to settle himself and peace himself into perfect shape…

But after shutting his eyes and going into a calm state, he was abruptly plunged into a trance as his mind kept reciting one line over and over again;

'Remember, only the blind can see the shadows that lurk within the darkness.'

The statement kept running through his mind, and the more it did, the more Min Hong was immersed into it;

"Shadows that lurk in the dark!"

Min Hong muttered and his eyes snapped open, but strangely those eyes were completely white like that of a bling man, but if someone saw his eyes right now, they would get a sudden feeling that Min Hong could peer into their very souls and see through their intentions by simply glancing at them…

It was an eerie and scary feeling of being naked and somewhat predictable…

Min Hong's eyes remained white and he stood up and looked around, and then he began to see different colors of Qi, aura and smell…

Smell as in the fact that everyone has a distinct and unique body odor that leaves a trail in the air whenever they pass, and though, one should not be able to see such a thing but only smell it, after all even beasts can only smell them…

But in Min Hong's case, he was actually seeing the trail left in the air…

"You can mask and hide your aura, but you will always forget one of these…"

Min Hong muttered as he swayed his hand in front of him, cupping a faint trace of blue energy in the air;

"Frigid Water Dao…" He muttered…

He moved forward a little and saw another black stream of faint energy;

"Trench Water Dao… Min Qing…"

He moved ahead as saw a white one, but as he cupped this  one, his palm split open and bled slightly before the regenerative effects of his body cultivation surged and closed the wound;

"Sword Dao… Long Sha…"

Min Hong continued to see different forms of energy in the air, from unique types of Qi, to Daos, to cultivation auras, to body odor and all, and before he knew what was going on, he found himself within his bedroom and saw Min Qing sleeping there like a sweet little girl, but then Min Hong saw something else that shocked him slightly;

"Sirena!?"

The moment he made that statement, Min Qing's bloodline surged and an image rose from her body;

"You can see me!?" Shock, awe, wariness and surprise was apparent in Sirena's tone as she blurted…

Though, Min Hong at this point had every other senses robbed of him, including hearing and touch and every other thing except for sight, and this sight did the job of the other five better than them combined…

He could see sirena as clear as day, and from reading her lips, he could make out what she said;

"Yes, I can see you…"

Sirena jolted in shock when she heard Min Hong confirm her fears…
