Both felt their eyes reddening, and they could see that they both didn't want to part with one another, but perhaps, this might help them grow also;

"I expect you to be way stronger than this when next we meet…"

"Sure brother, two years is even too long for me to catch up to you…"

Long Sha replied as they finally gave themselves a Viking hug and then left the apartment, as a carriage came to a stop in front of Min Hong's apartment and then carrying them away…

The moment Min Hong saw him leave, not only did his desire to finish up everything he was to do in the sect stoked, he also wanted to get to the Long Clan and support this brother of his...

He then clenched his fist as they disappeared from view and entered the apartment, and everyone could feel a deep sense of solemnness weigh on the entire room, and it was then that they understood that this guy was done playing around; now, he meant business…

Few seconds later, they all scattered as Min Hong looked to his mother who came to give him a hug, his heartbreak was too obvious, as Min Qing joined in the hug, and whilst Qing Tan thought of joining in, Kun Lin pulled her away as they all went to their apartments to pack their things…

Princess Cui and her three guards also saw what was happening, but as for Princess Cui, seeing Min Hong so vulnerable not only made a pang of pain hit her heart, she also felt sad for some reasons, and though she didn't yet love Min Hong as a partner, she was just here to identify the person who had been chosen for her by her ancestors, and tell him about the entire situation, before returning to her clan…

But now, she couldn't explain why she was feeling such pain and a little sense of guilt for Min Hong…

Guilt in the sense that, she felt she was intruding into the life of another person for the benefits of her clan, but instead of begging for it like every other person would, here she was still feeling entitled like he was supposed to agree at once;

'It seems the view my clan has on men has been deep rooted into my bloodline…' She thought to herself…

The hug finally ended, and Min Rou went to begin the packing, whilst Min Hong sat down with Min Qing resting her head on his shoulders, but at this point, Min Hong simply channelled all of his emotions currently into a drive to do whatever he had to do as quickly as possible…

"I am sorry for how our first conversation went and ended…"

Princess Cui spoke with her face looking at her feet, seemingly unable to look Min Hong in the eye, something which greatly stunned her guards;

"It is you I have come looking for…" She finally summoned enough courage to blurt it out;

"About time…" Min Hong responded nonchalantly…

He wasn't in the mood to suck up to anyone, and neither was he in the mood to have someone suck up to him…

The guards though were surprised, they were not overly so…

Not only have they seen Min Hong fight and understand his level of talent which they measured as his battle power with respect to his age, they have also seen his ambitions, and understood that he is a person who was very focused, and though, it might be too early to judge if he was the real candidate or the person who would improve their bloodline and make their bloodlines surge in strength and quality…

But as for now, he is not too bad a candidate, and they also have a long time ahead of them before the constellation aligns; at least they still have some ten years, based on their knowledge of the entire process, so they would just have to see how everything goes…

"I will accept your proposal only on three conditions…"

Min Hong spoke leisurely has the thought occurred to him, that this was the first time he was going to be stating his own conditions for someone else, and the feeling was slightly surreal as he hoped it won't be its last…

"Name them!" Princess Cui blurted with seriousness;

"Firstly, I would need at least ten years before I come with you to this inheritance ground of yours…"

"Secondly, anything else I get from this inheritance ground asides your bride price would be mine…"

"Finally, you clan must assist me with my plans, and when the time comes, and we call for your help, you must respond adequately and promptly…" Min Hong stated;

"Do these things for me and I will help your clan with the bloodline thing you are fussing about…"

Min Hong added without giving them ample attention, and that really hurt Princess Cui, because not only was Min Hong insinuating that he had no business with her, but was simply doing this on a strictly transactional level…

He doesn't love her, he would only help their clan's bloodline evolve and then receive their help in return and that will be all…

It hurt her a lot as she spoke as if there was a lump of metal in her throat;

"That will be fine with us, and in the place of my clan, I really thank you…" She said;

"It's nothing, we are simply benefitting from each other…"

Min Hong said nonchalantly, further plunging the princess into more heartache, and this only caused the guards who really adored their princess to begin having negative inclinations towards Min Hong;

"We will need a sample of your bloodline to confirm if it can truly help our evolve…"

One of the guard blurted through gritted teeth which not only repulsed Min Hong, but made him want to change his mind until he felt Min Qing's hand grab his and he saw her subtly shake her head, then Min Hong let out a huge sigh before asking;

"You guys travelled all the way here only to check if I am the right person?" Min Hong asked;

"No, we would just like to know if your bloodline is strong enough…" The guard didn't back off either;

"Don't worry, it is plenty strong…" Min Hong gave a short answer;

"I am sorry but we just can take only your word back to our matriarch…"

She said once again refusing to back down as a chord in Min Hong's head snapped;

"Enh!?"

Boom!

Min Hong's aura erupted blasting the roof of the building;

"Don't push me lowly servant!"

Min Hong's bloodline aura erupted as his Imperial Robes appeared and clothed him, followed by the appearance of a glowing and homing golden crown…

"You dare!"

Princess Cui erupted with her own bloodline power, but it was barely awakened, and in fact, it was like a slumbering person that simply changed position on the bed, but the moment Min Hong's gaze landed on her, she was blasted three meters away…

"Hong-ge!"

Min Qing grabbed the helm of his sleeves and went straight to her knees;

"Please stop!"

The moment Min Hong saw Min Qing kneel, he felt awful and his aura disappeared with a puff, as he grabbed Min Qing up and hugged her tightly…

He was really in a foul mood, and these people just had to push their luck…

"That is what you ae looking for, you can leave!"

Min Hong flicked his finger and a glob of his 'Dawn Sovereign Bloodline' flew out before floating right in front of them, dormant, because Min Hong hadn't activated it yet…

The guards went to get their princess as they helped her up and brought her ahead;

Cough! Cough!

The princess coughed up two mouthfuls of blood and the moment that happened, something strange happened…

The blood the princess coughed up didn't land on the floor, instead they began to merge together into one glob of blood that floated towards Min Hong's bloodline, and began to hover around it intimately…

Then the princess nodded towards her guard who brought out a very unique and special dagger…

This dagger was every bit mysterious and even Min Hong could feel it since every part of his body was giving him a wary vibe…

The guard split the princess blood into two parts and walked up to Min Hong's own, and slashed at it with the dagger, but the result was utterly different from what they had expected to happen, because not only did Min Hong's blood not even move a single bit, the dagger also shattered completely…

They looked towards Min Hong with a little fear in their eyes and they all subconsciously took a step back…

This knife was a treasure of their clan that could be used to cut anything, from the strongest ores to piercing the flesh of a Demi-god, but here was the dagger fragmented on the ground because they tried to cut out a portion of Min Hong's bloodline…

Wouldn't that mean that Min Hong's bloodline is higher than a Demi-god bloodline;

"A God Tier Bloodline!?"

They all simultaneously thought in shock, but after looking at each other to confirm that they all had a similar conclusion, they finally looked back at Min Hong as they finally pleaded with their gaze…

Min Hong understood what they needed, and so, he split a tiny portion of the blob of blood before sending it into the one they had cut aside from the princess's coughed up blood…

Instantly, the princess blood just like a parched desert latched onto Min Hong's bloodline but just kept squirming all over it and still being unable to mix, until Min Hong activated his bloodline;

Swoosh!

Boom!

The two bloodlines merged and instantly exploded, and in that moment, every single Cui Clan descendant felt their bloodlines tremble with excitement…

From the lowest of them all to their matriarch and queen…

The princess and the cui guards also felt the same thing as they looked towards each other in shock…

"Now that you have all you need, you can leave!"
