The environment was also quiet, calm, pristine and drenched with natural energy to the extent that spirit fruits and plants were already growing everywhere…

There were birds and beautiful insects everywhere, which made this place a mini paradise, for not only cultivation and meditation, but actually living in every single sense of it…

Min Hong shook his head helplessly when he saw the stark difference between the core court and the inner court, not to then talk of the outer court which was now looking like a slum to him…

"No wonder we never see core court disciples easily… Why would anyone ever want to step out of this place?"

Min Qing muttered in awe as she looked around and took everything in, whilst Qing Tan had been easily drawn to the beautiful insects roaming all over the place, as she gradually moved towards one of them which was currently perched atop a little flower, then she picked it up on her finger;

"Ouch!" Qing Tan yelled as she smacked the insect of her finger in reflex…

The insect flew into the bush and shrieked, causing like three of its folks to burst out of the bush approaching Qing Tan with intent to sting…

"Hmph!"

Min Qing moved seamlessly like there was no obstruction from friction, or to be more precise, she flowed across the area like spring water, gracefully and easily but extremely fast as she waved her sleeves sending streams of demonic purple colored flames over to the three incoming insects, turning them into crispy and crunchy shrimps…

Min Hong had noticed the first insect had a Peak Qi Sea stage cultivation and the three folk which had flew out to avenge it were in the 1 Star Dan Formation stage;

'This is a heaven for man and beast alike…'

He thought to himself as he rubbed his spirit ring, thinking about the cocoon that was within the treasure chest, Little Ming and Elder Yun brought back which contained their own share of everything they managed to gather on their training adventure within the jungle…

The unconscious body of the Vine Viper was there as well…

Min Hong's group were only halfway to his apartment at this point, half way away from the gates and the Lai Yi duo, as well as halfway from his apartment when all these happened…

But just as the thought crossed his mind, his senses picked up something incoming as he vanished from the spot and appeared in front of Min Qing waving his sleeves and creating a simple spatial barrier;

Tchm!

The sound was similar to the one a driver hears when a fly hits his windshield at 100 miles an hour…

Creak!

The spatial barrier Min Hong erected began to crack and as he looked to the point where the crack was spreading out from, he saw a tiny stinger there…

Out of subconscious curiosity [which always killed the cat], Min Hong left the protection of his spatial barrier, and then came to the other side of the barrier to look at the insect that could actually pierce through a Law Level protective barrier…

Though, he had only used a very tiny fraction of his Space Dao to erect the spatial barrier, it still wasn't something an ordinary 5 Star Dan Formation expert could break…

Just as Min Hong was about to pick up the bee-like insect;

"I wouldn't touch it if I were you…"

Min Hong looked up the tree where this insect seemed to have darted out from and saw a guy sitting on a tree branch right beside the hive itself;

"Are you the one who caused the bug bite!?"

Min Qing also saw the guy and was already boiling from within because Qing Tan's finder was now swollen and the poison from that sting was spreading all over her hand and gradually spreading towards her arm with her heart the most probable destination;

"Are you the Fei Hong whom I was forced to change district for?"

The boy on the tree spoke and it didn't take any much maths to know that the person standing right in front of them was the Fifth strongest core court disciple of the Desert Sun Sect…

Whilst Min Qing was busy raging, Min Hong simply spoke with an amicable smile;

"I had no idea they were going to chase someone away because of me…" He lied through his stupidly white teeth…

"Oh really… Was it because you managed to challenge two 'War God Trials' back to back?"

The boy replied and even before Min Hong could answer, he had already continued;

"I would like to know just how strong you are… Mind you I am nothing like those weaklings you defeated in the 'War God Trials'…"

The boy jumped down from the tree and with a single gesture of his hands, hundreds of these bee-like insects swarmed out of the hive as they flew together in a formation that depicted a single, larger, bee-like insect which consisted of hundreds of smaller bee-like insects;

"I don't mind if you want to retain your claim over the apartment, but could you please, kindly tell me how to cure that poison?"

Min Hong was still all smiles as he spoke despite the raging inferno within his belly at this point;

'He dared to touch his Qing Tan'

'Perhaps, the tragic news of the people who did such a thing the last time hadn't circulated within the secluded core court yet…'

Meanwhile, whilst Min Hong was chatting with the boy, Elder Yun, Little Ming, Min Rou and Min Qing had already surrounded the sickly Qing Tan whose breath was getting fainter by the minute…

None of them expected that these beautiful and seemingly harmless insect they were still appraising would turn out to be a very dangerous and lethal beast…

"I have no idea how to cure this…"

Min Rou checked and discovered that the poison wasn't even responding to any of her diagnosis…

Min Qing also tried to suck it out, but the moment her lips touched the bite wounds, a sizzling sound erupted as Min Qing groaned in pain, before spitting whatever was in her mouth out, with an expression of someone who had just ate 300 wasabis under a room temperature of about 300 degree Celsius; it was agonizing…

After seeing what happened to Min Qing, the rest then began to think of any possible antidote that might perhaps help out, but albeit as quietly as possible, trying not to alert the bug-boy of what they were trying to do, but who were they fooling?

"Oi, if you give her any antidote, the poison would just spread and enter every part of her body the antidote goes…" He said with a smug grin;

"Antidotes only serve to give it more penetrating power, and the only cure is if one of these insects suck out the poison…"

He added his proud and smug grin growing ever wider whilst Min Hong was simply doing everything in his possible best to bottle up his fury…

"Should we help?"

Far away from Min Hong's group's position were four figures who were watching everything happen from the beginning;

"No, let me see how he will handle this…" A young boy standing in the lead position of this quartet spoke;

"Or more like you want to see both of them fight, which in a way would save us the stress of thinking of how to match them up…"

The only girl amongst these quartet spoke with her hand over her mouth covering her subtle giggle;

"Well what can I say?"

"The competition is happening in six months and we only have seven disciples out of the ten slots allocated to each super sect…"

"I can't wait till the inner to core court competition begin before we start rushing to fill in the gaps and begin to familiarize ourselves with one another…"

"That would take too long, and if we get to the group tournament section and we don't have any shred of teamwork, well we might as well just admit defeat the moment we step into the Imperial Castle…"

The youth who was donning a Silver Embroidered Desert Sun Sect cloak spoke;

"But I don't know how this guy managed to obtain the technique which allows him to control those bugs…"

One of the two guys who hadn't spoken since the start finally blurted with a seemingly jealous sigh;

"According to what master told me; Bai Yi's father had a lucky encounter recently on his adventures, when he fell into the crevices of a snow capped mountain, and it was in there that he found the bones and remains of an ancient cultivator, and he was said to have obtained the manual containing the bug controlling technique from this expert…"

The silver robed boy who was Gong Yi; the Dao Child of the Desert Sun Sect explained, referring to the Sect Leader as his 'master';

"Master said they called them beast tamers, and there are only three of them in the entire Dogon Empire…"

"Beast Tamers?"

The girl who was Ki Ting standing beside Rin Chen and Xiao Gui spoke with confusion apparent in her tone…

It seemed like she had never heard or read about that term before now;

"But how can there be people of that level in this Empire and they would still remain unknown, aren't they supposed to be super popular?" Xiao Gui added;

"Well, of all the four surrounding Empires in our Qin Dynasty, only the Dogon Empire have three of them, and it is a closely guarded secret and also one of our empire's secret weapons, which in turn means, everything I have said here today must not be heard from anyone else, otherwise I will have your heads!"

Gong Yi spoke and the remaining trio cowered by taking two steps back as trepidation was apparent within their eyes…

They were somewhat sure that this little boy who was just about to clock fifteen can truly kill them without batting an eyelid…
