"It's such a strange story." The bald-headed youth shook his head with such a funny facial expression.
"It's not an excellent story. The storyline is too monotonous," said the bespectacled youth. "But I don't think it's that bad either."
They talked late into the night until finally they all fell asleep, exhausted from their adventure.
When they woke up the next morning, they were still huddled together in the room's corner where they had fallen asleep. But something was different now. Something had changed while they were sleeping. The books were gone; only a few scraps of paper remained where they had been lying before.
"What happened to all of our books?" asked the tall girl, her voice filled with confusion.
The others looked around in bewilderment. None of them could remember what had happened during the night or where the books had gone.
"Maybe someone came in while we were sleeping and took them?" suggested the short boy with glasses.
The others shook their heads. None of them had heard anything during the night.
"Maybe it was a ghost!" said the girl with short hair. Her eyes widened with fear.
The others laughed at her suggestion, but deep down, they all felt a little uneasy. None of them wanted to stay in the house any longer. They quickly gathered their things and made their way outside.
