'The spy is a... maid?' Aiden thought with a blank expression as the shadows vanished and returned to their original places.

Aiden on the other hand was extremely confused.

'Am I that handsome to charm a maid at such a young age?' Aiden wondered as he stared in front of the classroom.

Aiden wasn't able to see the exact appearance of the person spying on him but he was able to see a rough outline.

The person was a young girl in a maid outfit and that was all he could see as the class progressed on.

At the end of the class, all the students thanked the teacher and left Aiden alone with the teacher.

But a few minutes later, the man in black from earlier appeared again and grabbed Aiden's hand as they traveled back to his room.

The man then left as Aiden sat down on the bed and stared at the ceiling with a bored expression as a sudden system notification surprised him.

Ding!

[ Two New Skills are available on the skills page. ]

Aiden raised his eyebrows in surprise as he opened his skill page to check the new skills

< 1 skill point per skill host. > The system said as Aiden glanced at the skills as he decided to not choose a skill for the time being.

'System, will these skills vanish after some time?' Aiden asked as the system as he looked at the screen.

< No host, the skills will remain permanent. > The system replied as Aiden looked confused.

'Then what about the currently visible on the screen?'

< Don't worry about that host. It's going to be a pain to change it now so let it be. > The system replied as Aiden blinked his eyes and sighed.

"So I am going to the class daily now. Let's see if that maid is still there." Aiden muttered to himself before going to sleep.

And just like that, two weeks passed by.

During the week, Aiden learned about the job classes in the world. The teacher whose name was Kisuke Urahara, had taught them about the various things a person, or in their case, a demon could do.

'I didn't think that this world would have japanese names especially that one.' Aiden had chuckled inwardly when he had heard the teacher's name.

One of the most common jobs was warrior which basically meant someone who knew how to use physical attacks.

Then there were job classes like potions master, runes master, hunter, etc. But unlike Aiden, other people didn't have an assigned job class that they could level up.

Only their capabilities told what job they could have.

But in the end, the most highly regarded job class was mage since they could use elemental energy to use skills.

Skills were described in scrolls and their books but unlike Aiden, who could use the skills after some practice, the other students had to first study the basics.

It started from learning about elemental energy to slowly using their elements. All the students already knew what their element was and could already summon it in small amounts.

'So it's a special class made of children from royal and noble families.' Aiden already had this theory in his mind but in the past week, his theory was confirmed true.

He had talked to some of the children and had gotten to know that all of them were from either noble families or were his cousins which was surprising.

But when Aiden appeared in today's class, everyone looked tense. He didn't ask anything and took his place in the class as he looked at his teacher.

"The time has come class. Though you might have already known about this from your parents, I will still explain it to you. Since all of you have already started using your elements and can already do a few things, it's time for your trial of worth." Kisuke said as Aiden's eyes widened.

'Why didn't anyone tell... Of course, they won't tell me about it!' Aiden thought while facepalming as his teacher explained everything.

"At this age, all of you will go to the forest of night to spend three days there without any supervision. Your only goal is to survive for three days and you can use any method to do it. But remember, the spirit of night is full of many beasts so it's going to be dangerous." Kisuke slowly said as he looked at the students with sad eyes.

Aiden could understand the reason for this.

'The demons really are mad. Why would you send ten-year-olds into a deadly forest all on their own? I wonder if any of them will survive.' Aiden thought while looking at his classmates but he wasn't worried about himself.

Some might say that he was being overconfident but Aiden had been saving his stat points and skill points for such moments.

So if he ever got into a tough spot, he would easily be able to escape.

"Now listen carefully. This trial will begin tomorrow morning and anyone arriving after 7 am will be immediately be disqualified and will be kicked out of the class. You can only take weapons with yourself and no food or drinking items will be allowed. If you are caught with these, you will be disqualified and kicked out of the class." Kisuke explained as everyone went silent.

'You gave me those skills at the perfect time system.' Aiden said to the system as the two skills from earlier would be extremely helpful in this trial.

"Sir, why is this trial called the trial of worth?" The person floating three spots of Aiden's left asked as Kisuke gave him a sad smile.

"It's because those who will survive this test will be allowed to take skill scrolls from the schools. There's a special thing about the trial that I will tell you tomorrow." He replied as the class proceeded to go on.
