"Someone that the heaven can't judge?"

"You did things that should give you a better reincarnation but you did things that should get a bad reincarnation. Heaven can't settle on a particular thing. So I am the one who was brought for this."

"So I am both good and evil?" He asked as Infini nodded.

"In a way, that's also true." She then looked at him with serious eyes.

"But if you had to choose one, which side will you chose? Good or evil?" Her question felt strange to Aiden but he decided to still give it some thought.

"I will chose neither." He simply replied as Infini looked surprised.

"And why is that?"

"Because I can never dedicate myself to one side and would always bend some rule that I wasn't supposed to bend."

"Pffft!" Infini chuckled at his words as he straight up explained the life of reincarnators and transmigrators.

"Then if you were given the chance to become a hero or a villain in a fantasy world, what will you become?"

"Me? I will become a fucking farmer. Heroes and Villains can fight each other and I will simply gain money to live." Aiden replied as Infini chuckled again.

"You are the perfect candidate that could have come here." She said with a smile. "Now tell me, would you like to reincarnate?"

"As in get reborn in another world?"

"Yes, and that too with your memories intact. However, you will have to participate in a last man standing battle royal for that."

"Last man standing?" Aiden had already known that there was some catch in what Infini was telling him.

"There will be some other people who you will need to fight but if you manage to remain the last person standing, you will get the chance to reincarnate in a fantasy world." Infini explained as Aiden felt silent.

He was instead thinking about something else.

"Do you know what happened earlier?" He then slowly asked as Infini didn't say anything and their surrounding started to swirl again.

"Is that…" Aiden's voice trailed off as he saw himself and the bullies on a screen in front of him.

He saw the black mist rising from his body and then forming claws in his hands. He then saw how he killed everyone.

The scenes then stopped playing as Aiden took a deep breath and turned towards Infini.

"How did that happen?" He then asked while taking deep breaths as Infini shook her head.

"I don't know. Do you remember talking to a voice in your hear or anything like that.

Aiden shook his head at her question as Infini sighed.

"Why did you ask that?" He raised his eyebrows curiously as he didn't understand the meaning behind her question.

"Sometimes, gods offer human beings certain deals. They don't know much about it but the humans do agree to it eventually. I was wondering whether you had made a similar deal." She replied but then shook her head. "If you had made a deal, then you would have remembered it."

"But what if the god made me forget about it?" Being a god, removing the memories of a person like Aiden would have been an easy choice.

'I wonder what I would have wished for." He silently wondered even though he already knew his wish. It was to obtain his revenge on those who ruined his life.

"There is a law that during the time of the deal, a god cannot remove the memoires of the mortal he is making the deal with. It's a law that no god can ever break."

And with her reply, both of them sighed.

"It's time for the battle royal now." She then announced as he looked at her with a nod.

"I want to live again. I will take part in the battle royal but I won't play by your rules. But I guess you already knew that." He said as Infini smiled and nodded.

"You, Aiden, are a special person. Cherish that fact well." Infini said as Aiden felt like chuckling.

"I don't think I am the only 'special' person who you have met. You are a goddess after all. How long have you been alive for and long will you live for? Infinite years?" Aiden had a bittersweet smile on his face as Infini looked surprised.

"See, I knew it. Your expression tells everything."

"Would you want to live for a long time?" She instead asked as he tilted his head in confusion.

"I will be happy to live a good life for as long as I can. After all, I want to enjoy living. Not spend my life doing a particular thing you know." He replied as Infini smiled.

"Do you know how long Infinity is?" Infini looked at his face as he narrowed his eyes.

"No. That's a stupid question. Who would know how long Infinity is?" Aiden replied as she shook her head.

"Would you like to find that out?" Infini asked as her whole body started glowing.

"I don't really want to find that out... But if it means I will get to live, yes I want to find out how long infinity is." Aiden said with a sigh as he was prepared to reincarnate.

Even though the battle royal hadn't even started.

But the moment he answered her question, his vision blacked out. When it returned, he saw himself standing in the same white blank room with ten other people.

"Win this game and you will reincarnate in a world where magic and gods are as common as humans. There, you will face many challenges and the result will depend on your actions.." Infini's voice resounded in his head as she appeared in front of him and the others.

"Remember, your actions have consequences that you may find out later on. So for now, give your best and try to compete with the others." She added.

'I wonder about that.' Aiden thought at the last moment as her gaze landed on him. For some reason, it made him shiver.

"The Game of Fate begins now.." Infini said out loud as a scream echoed around the empty room.
