A month had passed since he had seen the forest. Yet it felt as though many years had passed by.
If Aiden compared his current self to the one who had entered the forest a month ago, they were heaven and earth apart.

After a long time discussion, the imperial class was finally retaking the Trial of worth after a month of the failed one.

'This place should be named as the forest of scream instead of night. There's not much night here as compared to the number of screams heard here.'
From the moment Aiden had come close to the forest, he had heard screams echoing around the entire place.
And none of them belonged to a person.

Rewards - 1000 Exp for one member of a species slew. A bonus of 10000 Exp for completing the quest on time.

Aiden could only blink in surprise as he read the contents of the quest. It seemed too good to be true.
< Trust me, host, it's not a trap. After all, you require high amounts of Exp to level up. > The system said as Aiden glanced at his exp.

'You are correct system. I accept the quest.'
Aiden replied as he glanced around at his surroundings.
'My requirements for exp is increasing by every level and I don't have an easy way of gaining it anymore.' He sighed in frustration. 'But now that I am here, I should kill as many creatures as possible and gain as much exp as possible.'
He then started moving towards the north direction. He had no idea whether he would find all the beasts on time or not but he could still try it.
'I want to try using that skill too. I wonder what will happen though.' Aiden smiled to himself as he saw a pair of wolves feasting on the body of a deer like creature.

"You are not what I wanted to fight but I can't say no to free exp, can I?" Aiden raised both of his hands as ten small needles appeared in his hands.
He raised his hands and threw the needles forward. They zipped through the air with soaring speed as Aiden directed them towards the wolves' bodies.

"Two thousand exp..." Aiden muttered with a wide-open mouth. "How did I receive so much when I had only received a 100 exp by killing the descendant of the moon wolf..."
< After the Moon wolf was killed by your father host, all the monsters underwent an evolution to protect themselves. So now, all the monsters are twice as strong as before. >
'That means twice or even thrice the amount of exp I would have received!' This motivated Aiden to kill even more monsters in order to obtain more exp.
But in the end, he would still remain careful. After all, he didn't want a repeat telecast of the previous time.

'It's not a phone system. If it's due for an update, just update it. And by the way, what's the update about?' Aiden asked back as he summoned his needles back.

Two weeks ago, Kisuke had taught the imperial class about the grading of the beasts.
Based on the level of their power and the threat they possessed, monsters were graded as follows :
E rank, D rank, C rank, B rank, A rank, S rank, SS rank, SSJ rank, and Z rank.

"S ranks are as strong as the level of upper demon lords. SS ranks are as strong as the order. SSJ ranks can rival your father. Z ranks are well... just treat them as half gods. But remember one thing, your father can only fight two SSJ ranks at once and his chances of winning than are still low." Aysel explained as Aiden's jaw dropped.
"Don't look so surprised. Two SSJ beasts make a Z rank beast. And three SS ranks beast make a SSJ rank beast. But if two or even three SSJ beasts fight a Z ranked beast, they would still lose." Aysel had a small smile on her lips as Aiden's realization of the levels of power was blown away.

He had been fighting beasts for almost two straight hours now and it would usually go well. He had been using needles to kill most of the monsters he met but they weren't working well on monsters with thick skins like trolls and orcs.
However, Aiden could still defeat them.
