"So this is your house?" Will asked while raising his eyebrows as Zoe nodded.

However, she was more focused on looking all around the hallway. It looked as though she was afraid that a jump scare would pop out at any moment.

Or at least that's what Aiden felt like.

"Anyways, let's just use the token again. I don't wanna end up in someone's bathroom." Aiden muttered as all of them took out the tokens that allowed one to freely teleport inside the city.

They then directly teleported to the academy except, it was no longer the academy they knew. Or well, at least the few rooms they knew.

It had been turned into a temporary report center for the time being. But it was just a public report center and the real one could only be accessible after meeting certain individuals in charge of the prison.

"You guys are back quicker than I expected." The person in charge of the official prison in the people's eyes was Kisuke.

However, when he saw that the group was carrying an unconscious person with them, he suddenly went alert.

"Aiden, teleport with that person to the counter. You guys can go home and rest for now." He quickly instructed as all of them soon dispersed.

Aiden stared at the three people moving away. Will looked satisfied with himself and would probably do a small party.

Alex on the other hand looked as though he was about to go and find another mission to do. But the most unsettled out of them was Zoe.

She was walking in an awkward manner as though she didn't want to leave the place. But she still left it.

After they were gone, Aiden quickly teleported away to the desk of the actual prison.

The entrance to the real prison was situated in the principal's office. After knocking on the door thrice, a person opened the door by a crack.

"Interrogation, mission, war, and strategy or core strengthening." A raspy voice came from the other side of the door as Aiden immediately replied.

"Interrogation."

"Person drop or interrogator."

"Person drop."

"Please place the body at the foot of the door and leave."

Aiden did as instructed and quickly teleported away. This was his second time coming here and the raspy voice had startled him the first time.

But he had no problem this time. His mind was instead thinking about the person who will interrogate.

Aiden knew that his mother was an interrogator herself. Depending on the result of the interrogation, her mood will be fixed permanently for the rest of the day.

"If the interrogation had gone well, she would smile a little sometimes but on days with bad interrogations, her expression will remain neutral.

Aysel was an expert at keeping a check on her emotions and most of the time, she did things based on rational thinking.

But sometimes, that rational thinking was destroyed.

"Guess I should go and rest now. I guess we will be going on another special mission again." Aiden thought with a sigh as he then teleported in front of the royal demon palace.

But the palace was more focused on defenses rather than luxuries. Instead of being made from shiny metal or glass, the entire thing was made from a pure black metal called darkcoal.

The material was the hardest substance found on the entire demon realm and was dug from 2000 kilometers underground. The people involved in this job had the fire element, water element, and earth element in case of emergencies.

This was because magma and lava were easily found at this level. But the lava and magma were not like the normal ones from earth. It was instead described as bright red in color and the system had told him that it was as hot as the core of the sun

Well, that was one job that Aiden would never want to have.

After glancing at the palace for some while, Aiden directly teleported to his room. But a person wearing a mask was waiting for him at his door. The person was however someone Aiden knew.

It was one of the many shadow guards that lived in the palace and had been there in Aiden's childhood. Since he couldn't see their face or exact appearance, Aiden had started identifying them by their voice.

"Can you please go and call the queen?" A nervous-sounding male voice asked Aiden as he sighed.

'So today is nervous worker's day.'

The person in front of him had a nervous tone to his voice and would always speak like an employee who was going to have his first day at work. Aiden understood his problem because working under the demon queen was not an easy job.

"Can't you do that yourself? I just came back from a mission and want to take a small rest." Aiden replied while stifling a yawn. The evening had already come and the night was slowly approaching.

Nervous worker gulped slowly before shaking his head.

"The queen was in a really different mood when she left the palace. She said that she was heading straight towards the arena. It's the first time I have seen her like this…"

Aiden then sighed as he realized what nervous worker meant. His mother's mood was at the worst today.

'I just hope that she didn't break the castle. If that is possible.' He thought before teleporting out of the palace.

He then quickly moved in the direction of the arena by spamming his movement technique. And that's when the entire sky above the arena lit up.

'Damn…' Aiden's mouth was left hanging open when he saw it.

Multiple meteor like golden objects were falling down towards the arena. Their size ranged from the size of an elephant to the size of a blue whale.

The entire scene was beautiful and deadly at the same time. But Aiden had no choice except to go inside the arena and that's what he did.

And wreckage awaited him. Even though the entire place had been barren before, it currently looked as though a nuclear bomb had been dropped on it.

Flames and magma raged around for as long as Aiden could see. Hundreds of meteors were visible everywhere while thousands of… dead bodies were scattered around the entire place.

And all of them were real demons.

And standing in the middle of it was Aysel. She was staring at the sky with a calm expression as though everything around didn't matter.

But Aiden could see the storm behind her eyes which was barely being contained. If his mother snapped and went on a rampage, Aiden was sure that only his father could stop her.

"Mother." But despite that, Aiden called out to her.

Aysel turned in her right direction to see Aiden standing a few meters away from the entrance of the arena. He quickly changed his expression to a neutral one yet his heart was beating wildly.

"Yes, Aiden?" Aysel asked while avoiding staring into his eyes. This meant that anything could happen at any time.

"What were you trying to do here?" He asked slowly as Aysel gave him a small smile.

"I was punishing the guilty."

"The guilty?" Aiden looked at the dead bodies and somehow understood what she meant.

"All of these people are the criminals that had been held in the prison here in the capital.. Since we needed to free up some space, I decided to use them to relieve some of my stress."
