Wrath.

That was what entered Ash's mind when Aiden opened his eyes. They were pure golden in color and shining as bright as the sun.

All around him, Ash could hear his underlings screaming in pain while they looked at Aiden's eyes. Normal people, no matter how strong they were, could not look at a god's true form.

Even if the form only included eyes.

Aiden then raised his right hand and the entire realm shook with. A sword suddenly appeared in his hand as the trembling of the earth stopped.

The sword was pure red in color and seemed to shine in Aiden's hands. The hilt w

as pure black in color but that too seemed to shine.

'What is that?' Ash could feel an omniscient aura coming from the sword and the moment he felt that something was about to happen, he created a dozen ice walls in front of him.

But all of them shattered at once and Ash was thrown back. He somehow managed to land on the ground but when he did, he saw that all of his underlings were gone.

"What…" His mouth was left wide open as he stared at Aiden's cold face.

"You are on your own Ash." The woman spoke again through Aiden's mouth as she started walking towards Ash.

She had taken control of mortal bodies earlier but she hadn't been able to stay in them for more than ten seconds. But now, she had found the perfect person.

< You are not supposed to do this. Many gods are watching you currently. >

A voice suddenly entered the woman's ears. Technically, it was Aiden's ears but since she was the one in control of the body, she was the one hearing it.

'Who are you?'

< The entity in charge to take care of this person. >

'The goddess of entertainment?'

< No, I am not her. As much as madam Infini tells people that she loves to give second chances, she just wants to see these games going on for a long time without any person becoming a god. >

'Then why are you not doing that job? The way you said her name felt as though she is your boss. But now you are talking behind her back.'

< She is my boss but she can't hear what I am saying and I am tired. It has been so many centuries since I have been doing this and I am tired. Aiden here made a deal that got him called. Most gods don't know about it but I was there when I saw it. >

'He made a deal with whom?'

< The first Oracle. >

'Don't joke. Tell me who he really made the deal with.'

< I am not joking. >

The woman suddenly stopped moving when she heard that. She had thought that Aiden had just been someone who just had a tragic past and got the chance to play in the game.

But it looked like Aiden had a deeper history.

'We will talk about this in a few minutes.' She said to the system before glaring at Ash.

"I was going to slowly kill you to make you suffer for all the things you made me do but I don't have time for it now. So, three blows." She said with a grin and appeared in front of Ash.

She then raised Aiden's right leg and kicked Ash in the balls. The latter's entire body went still as the woman raised the sword and pushed it through his heart.

Ash's throat choked up as he started gagging. The woman hit him on the head with Aiden's leg and pushed him down on the ground.

"Three blows." She directly stared into the man's eyes before raising Aiden's right leg and pushing down on the hilt of the sword.

And with that, Ash was killed within a few seconds.

'Now tell me everything.'

< The First Oracle gave ten 15-year-olds the chance to obtain their revenge in exchange for their lives. He then sent them ahead to the games. So all of the people who participated in the games this time were chosen by the First Oracle and no one knew it. Well, except me and a few primordial gods. >

'Then why were there 11 participants?' The woman asked as she pulled her sword from Ash's chest.

Ash's blood wasn't black but was instead red. This meant that he was a human.

< Aiden was added at the last moment because the next games would only take place when the victor out of those ten died. And since madam Infini likes to drag things for a while before ending them, Aiden's life would be hell. >

'Is the First Oracle such a nice person?'

< He is nice to those like him. The games didn't use to have the battle royal stage nor did they have a person like madam Infini or Zachariah. But that made the First Oracle what he is now. >

'So the other gods forced rules and they lie to the participants. Classic gods.'

< Classic gods indeed. >

'But tell me, how do you know this?' The woman narrowed her eyes as she realized that the system was hiding many things. 'How do you know the First Oracle so well?'

< I… >

***

"Ahh!" Aiden suddenly woke up as he felt cold water being splashed on his face. He looked around himself to see some of the villagers looking at him with respect.

Wait, villagers?

'What the hell happened to that man named Ash and his underlings?' Aiden thought with wide eyes as he looked around the place. But there were no traces of them.

"Thank you for saving all of us. I am the previous village leader's daughter. I don't think that we can thank you for what you did so please take me as a bride."

The girl he had been asked to kill was now standing above him. Her face blushed a little when she said the lines married which made Aiden sigh.

"I just felt like doing that. If you want to thank me, give the information about all the villages and other things this place had connections with and talked regularly." Aiden then stood up as the villagers continued to gawk at him.

For the time being, he decided to not think about what happened earlier. He would just ask his system about it after leaving the village but for the time being, he would just focus on the task in front of him.

"Then please follow me." The girl had already expected Aiden to deny her proposal and was instead ready to give him all the wealth the village had but Aiden instead asked for something easy.

But as the two demons went towards the village hall, the image of a golden figure tugged at the back of Aiden's mind.

***

"Shit…" Infini cursed the moment she realized that the golden figure was now bound with Aiden's soul.

Not only did this meant that she could no longer override the system and control Aiden, but the demon had also gotten a very dangerous ally.

"Infini, that was not supposed to happen." A voice suddenly entered Infini's mind and made the goddess fall down to her knees.

Words had been enough to make a goddess bow.

"Forgive me, emperor! It was my fault." Infini replied as she felt the presence of the person known as 'emperor'.

"I know that. But I wonder what you will do now." The emperor spoke again as Infini felt the pressure on her body increase.

'Why did you betray me Sera?!''
