Maybe the brunette-haired woman was a witch, who had been sent by the Crown Prince to murder Lady Melissa, and maybe the Crown Prince knew about Lady Melissa's plan to rebel against him.

Hence why he had sent the brunette-haired woman after her, he could end a rebellion that hasn't even started.

This one seemed like a reasonable explanation compared to the previous one, but the brunette-haired woman had seemed so angry when trying to murder Lady Melissa.

Lady Melissa would find out information about the brunette-haired woman soon enough tomorrow, and she knew where exactly to get it from.

She would be making a stop at the capital, and with Justin, hopefully, it didn't take too long as Lady Melissa had a couple of other errands she had to run in the capital.

Lady Melissa was in dire need of some knitting tools, she had planned to make a napkin to give to her father as he was most likely to participate in the hunting event.

Women would often give men their napkins, and it was as if the women were wagering their bets on which men would get the biggest animal.

However, it was also a sign of love and affection amongst each other, married women would often give their husbands the napkin during the hunting event.

It wasn't a requirement to give napkins to men, and only women were allowed to give it to men, not the other way around.

Women weren't allowed to participate in the hunting event either, but since the King was participating in the hunting event, or at least last Lady Melissa had recalled, Duchess Ella would have to be guarding him, and maybe assisting the King with the hunting event.

There was a time limit for the hunting event, that being three hours.

Lady Melissa had to sit with many other nobles at a table, and given that the location was pretty sunny, Lady Melissa was going to sweat, A LOT.

Last year during the hunting event, Lady Melissa had somehow managed to successfully talk to no one.

Some of the noblewomen asked her questions, but she would answer them with her head.

Soon enough, they got the memo and left Lady Melissa alone.

Hopefully, this year, nobody was going to try and pick a fight with her, she had enough of them after attending the tea party a few weeks ago.

Lady Melissa closed her eyes, as somehow- a miracle, she had managed to fall asleep.

And out of all the places Lady Melissa could've fallen asleep on, it was her desk.

Justin covered Lady Melissa's body with a blanket, as he soon left her chambers.

The next day, Lady Melissa woke up, and she had a nightmare last night, one that consisted of the brunette-haired woman.

This time it was of Lady Melissa drowning, the same place and the same way it happened yesterday, the only difference was that her parents or anyone for that matter weren't there.

It was only Lady Melissa in the boat.

Lady Melissa had managed to wake up from the dream when she had died in her nightmare, and suddenly she had woken up.

It wasn't the best start for the day but nonetheless, it was still a start.

Lady Melissa quickly got up, dressed and ate her breakfast. She was planning to ask for the intel regarding the brunette-haired woman before it had been 12 P.M.

She was going to bring Justin, and hopefully, his first encounter with him wouldn't be so bad.

Or it wouldn't end so badly at least.

Lady Melissa and Justin entered the carriage, as Lady Melisssa left the driver in one of the busiest and bustling streets, Lady Melissa soon taking out her cloak as she handed Justin one as well.

"No one can know our identities or who we are, so wear this."

Lady Melissa said, as she held the cloak to Justin, who quickly took it nodding his head before he wore it.

Lady Melissa went the same alleyway that she had gone to last time, with the man in the hooded cloak sent by Duke Mason.

Lady Melissa did the same thing that the man had done last time, as she knocked on the door three times before saying something to be let in.

Soon enough, Lady Melissa and Justin were already at the guild's place, as Lady Melissa met with one of the guild's members.

"I'll give you 500 gold if I can see your boss right now."

Lady Melissa said to the guild member as she took out her pouch, putting 500 gold in her table.

"I'm afraid that the boss is currently busy."

The guild member said, drooling at the amount of money right in front of him.

"1000 gold."

Lady Melissa said as she took out another pouch, revealing another 500 gold.

The guild member was too stunned to speak.

"1500 gold, take it or leave it."

Lady Melissa said as she took another pouch and revealed one more 500 gold.

"Just give me a few minutes."

The guild member said as he quickly stood up, and went to find the boss.

Lady Melissa had come prepared, she had sold some of her jewellery and dresses for this, but it wasn't as if it would hurt her.

Even when Lady Melissa had sold the jewellery and dresses she was still at no shortage of dresses or jewellery.

"I heard that someone had offered 1500 gold?"

Duke Mason said, as he suddenly appeared.

Duke Mason quickly took a seat before closing the door.

Although Duke Mason had changed both his appearance and tone, Lady Melissa knew it was him.

Duke Mason was the owner of the guild after all, and Lady Melissa knew that she wasn't wrong about it.

"Give me all the information regarding the Crown Prince and all of his past affairs regarding brunette-haired women, both romantic or not."

Lady Melissa said to Duke Mason.

Luckily she had prepared herself for this, she had bought a potion a few weeks ago that could change her appearance and voice for an hour.

There were side effects though, Lady Melissa would experience migraines and bloody noses after if her body couldn't with handle the potion.
