Lady Melissa quickly heard the noise starting to disappear, as she made her way outside of the carriage, coming face to face, with a man, who although didn't have a gun, was armed with a fucking dagger.

Lady Melissa said, as she spat out, she had been trying to limit herself from using such vulgar language these past few weeks, yet she couldn't help herself, she was being assasinated right now so she should be allowed to at least use some vulgar language and be self-centered and selfish.
"Is that your boyfriend's name?"
"Can we just please skip the talking part and just battle each other to the death?"
Lady Melissa asked, as she rolled her eyes at the assassin's question, she didn't even know why the man was so curious, yet she didn't care, whoever he was, she wouldn't care, that was until the man had taken his mask off, revealing it to be none other than Duke Alphonso standing right in front of her.
"You know you did mention that you had feelings for me, and I really like you too, so, how about you just let me go you know? I mean since the both of us have mutual feelings for each other you can do that ri-"
Lady Melissa was rudely interrupted mid-sentence, as Duke Alphonso used his dagger to aim at Lady Melissa's chest, the woman putting on an offended look, offended that he had done such a dirty move to her.
"Come on Alphonso, we can talk about this, plus, you've never been a physical guy, you're more of the brains then the brawns."
Lady Melissa said, as she effortlessly dodged each of his attacks, which only caused the man to be more determined on stabbing her (preferably in her heart) with his dagger.
"I'm pretty good at physical Melissa, especially in bed."
Duke Alphonso replied, as the woman rolled her eyes, if this was how he was going to play, then she might as well play.
Lady Melissa took off the coat, as she ripped off a part of her pants, revealing the dagger that was strapped onto her thigh, Duke Alphonso being surprised, as he gave her a good few seconds to take her the dagger.
"Tell me why you're doing this again? Are you perhaps broke? Do you need some money? Are you bored? Are you heartbroken because of the fact that I gave you that disappointed look when you confessed and you're angry at me so now you want to try and kill me because of it?"
Lady Melissa asked, as the man paused for a few seconds hearing her last question, she had exactly hit the bull's eye.
"Look, Alphonso, it's not that I hate you, I mean I probably would if it wasn't for your blonde hair, and your golden eyes, but that's not the point, I'm not disappointed, just surprised when I heard it at first, since now we're technically enemies, and I can't side with the enemy Alphonso."
Lady Melissa said, as she tried to explain to Duke Alphonso, her words were true- she wasn't lying at all, and Duke Alphonso knew she wasn't lying, he could see from her body language that she was telling him the truth.
However, simply her words alone wasn't enough for her to stop him, as he continued on, charging against her, with his dagger, as he had successfully managed to hit Lady Melissa's thigh, though, that wasn't without Lady Melissa's dagger hitting his arm.
"Going to take off the dagger Melissa?"
Duke Alphonso said, a taunting smirk on his face as Lady Melissa rolled her eyes at the snarky response that he had managed to give her, as she could see the mischievous glint he had in his eyes.
"I'll take it off if you do."

Duke Alphonso said, before he aggressively took out the dagger from Lady Melissa's bleeding thigh, the woman doing the same though out of pettiness she decided to be a little more aggressive when pulling out the dagger she had stuck in his arm.
However, before Lady Melissa could even hit Duke Alphonso, she had been pinned down to the ground by him, as he forced her to look up, facing his blonde handsome face, as an audible gulp was heard.
"How about, if I let go of the weapon, then you let go of yours?"
Duke Alphonso suggested, as Lady Melissa carefully thought of the idea for a few seconds, before she decided that she'd just agree with Duke Alphonso and go along with whatever he wanted right now, hoping that if she did, maybe he'd just go away and stop annoying her for the next 2-3 days.
Duke Alphonso threw the dagger he had, and it was now a few hundred feet away from them, as Lady Melissa did the same, just Lady Melissa's dagger was a few feet further away from Duke Alphonso's.

Lady Melissa said, her tone filled with annoyment as she saw Duke Alphonso having another mischievous glint in his eyes, before he leaned down closer and closer to her, as Lady Melissa did the same, initiating the kiss between the two of them.
