When Mo Zhu saw the food, the delicious aroma of the food made his stomach growling with hunger and his mouth salivated.

He ate his meal in no time and finished two bowls of porridge together with one piece of cornbread until his hunger was satiated and he could feel his body gradually regaining strength.

Only himself would understand how he has suffered for the past few days and almost died from starvation.

Mo Li started to feel worried as he watched him silently by the side. He thinks what happened now is very strange because this time yesterday, Mo Zhu was still confined to bed after he went into a coma for so long. Now all of a sudden he woke up, plus, he seemed to be in good health just like before he was sick. Could it be a light reflection from heaven before his death?

Does this mean Mo Zhu will die very soon?

When this thought came into his mind, a great pang gripped his heart and his worried eyes glanced at Mo Zhu.

Meanwhile, when Mo Zhu had just put down the chopsticks and licked his lips, he suddenly remembered something. He straightened up and turned his head as his gaze drifted around the room as if he was searching for someone.

He was searching for that beautiful lady in red; however, she couldn’t be found anywhere.

His brows drew together, quickly tugged at Mo Li’s sleeve and asked, “Elder brother, where is the beautiful lady in red? And where did she go? I want to see her.”

Mo Li lifted an eyebrow and asked instead of reply, “The beautiful lady in red? How come I never heard about her before?”

“The one that the prince has summoned over here to give me medical treatment. She is a stunning beauty with big charming eyes, smooth and delicate fair skin just like a fairy. She told me that she was a doctor hence she fed me with medicine and then helped me to remove the arrowhead. Later on, she even bandaged my leg after the debridement. Where is she?” Mo Zhu anxiously relates the story of his experience; he said it all in one breath.

After they heard his drawn out explanation, Mo Li, Imperial Physician Wang and the rest of the people in the room shifted their attention away from Mo Zhu and immediately looked at each other, their eyes constantly moving back and forth between them in a puzzled look.

“It was this old physician who gave you medical treatment all along. What do you mean by beautiful lady in red? You stinky brat, this is absolutely nonsense. This old physician is a man. Which part of me looks like a woman to you?” Imperial Physician Wang let out an exasperated sigh and stroked his beard.

Mo Zhu stared at Imperial Physician Wang with a shuddering of disgust. “Of course it’s not you. I’m talking about a perfectly beautiful woman.”

He clearly remembered that day even though he had passed out for a few days.

He not only remembers that beautiful fairy but also this nasty, foul-mouthed old devil.

Imperial Physician Wang kept saying that he would die very soon resulting him in giving up on himself and didn’t want to live anymore.

Thank heavens. The beautiful fairy dressed in red came in time to save him. She gave him confidence and offered new hope to him; she helped him to feel empowered to live on. That’s how he managed to wake up again.

After much deliberation with his brother, Mo Li recalled something from his memory and immediately he asked, “That beautiful lady in red you had just mentioned, don’t tell me she is …princess consort.”

“Princess Consort?” Mo Zhu’s face was filled with bafflement and he mulled it over in silence.

How could it be?

How could that bad-tempered princess consort be the beautiful fairy which I’ve seen?

Mo Li tried to recollect what exactly happened before, it was a few days ago the princess consort had told him that she could heal Mo Zhu’s injury.

However, he didn’t believe her at that time and even chased her away without thinking twice.

Moreover, he also remembered when they arrived at the scene, she was found inside the bedroom and acting in a suspicious manner where she stood next to Mo Zhu while holding a sharp knife in her hand.

And for that reason they believed in what they saw and thought the princess consort secretly sneaked in to murder Mo Zhu, but Feng’er said the princess consort was indeed came to save him.

After pondering for a moment, he looked seriously at Mo Zhu, “Let me take a look at your wound.”

Quickly afterwards, he folded up the trouser legs and saw Mo Zhu’s left thigh was indeed tightly wrapped in gauze, and some blood seeped through it, indicating that the wound had really been treated.

“Where is the iron arrowhead?” Mo Li asked another question so he could collect more evidence to validate his theory.

Mo Zhu answered promptly, “The beautiful fairy took it out.”

Right after he spoke and at this point his hand stumbled across something hard on his bed. He just discovered by chance there was something hidden under his pillow so he took it out.

When he took it out and very much to his surprise to see it was an object that was wrapped in a piece of soft cloth. He quickly unwrapped the cloth and found the iron arrowhead inside it.

“Yes, found it! This is the same broken arrowhead which the beautiful fairy helped me to pull out the other day.” He talked excitedly while proudly showing it to them.

Mo Zhu’s eyes sparkled brightly as he murmured to himself, “Beautiful fairy, I have searched high and low for this broken arrowhead, so it turned out that you have left it under my pillow ah..” His current expression is exactly like a kid who had just found his long lost favorite toy.

Meanwhile Mo Zhu was occupied with his accidental discovery, on the other hand, Mo Li’s eyeballs almost popped out when he saw the arrowhead, “Is it really her that saved your life?” he asked in disbelief.

In less than a second, a cold fear spiraled through him because he knew exactly where the prince was right now.

A while ago, the prince was heading to the wooden shed and he said he wanted to teach the princess consort a lesson. Mo Li knew the prince well enough that he could be really ruthless and cruel if he really wanted to be, and at this rate, the princess consort might possibly have met with catastrophe.

Up to this point, he stopped contemplation. He dashed out the door and ran off toward the wooden shed. (Please read original from cloudmanor.wordpress.com)
