'The third plague that has yet to occur!' Yvonne remarked in a stupefied manner.

Her eyes widened in shock when she remembered this plot arc which was extremely crucial for the character development of the female lead of the story, Hilda.

Marquess Samed looked at her dumbfounded expression and wondered what had got her so surprised and agitated.

"Miss St. Claire, do you mind sharing what has taken your attention away from the class?" He inquired in a mocking tone.

'How should I tell him that if things went according to the original storyline of the script then very soon the Third Great Plague would come to pass!?' She cried out in her mind.

Calming her mind after this little emotional outburst, she immediately got to thinking about how she should break this news to the man sitting before her.

'Will he even believe me, a mere child?' She pondered and she was sure that he wouldn't.

Who would believe a five-year-old child saying that in the next few years another plague would hit the Kingdom of Rosenhyde?

Even if they somehow believed her ominous words wouldn't they doubt if she was a witch or some demon who was here to bring news of their destruction.

'This society still believes that women can do nothing worthwhile… What if they burn me at the stake for prophesying about the next plague?' She imagined and shuddered thinking of the documentaries she had watched on the witch killings.

Her little brother, Vince was into such tales of supernatural and folklore and hence she was often pulled along to watch such documentaries with him.

'A crispy Yvonne is a bad Yvonne!' She shook her head profusely, rejecting the very thought of being burned by these obnoxious men.

This made her hesitate whether to reveal the foreknowledge she possessed about this world.

However, the very thought of watching hundreds of thousands die because she was worried about her safety made Yvonne feel like a piece of shit.

She was not a saint who was willing to give her life for others but at the same time, she wasn't heartless to watch innocent lives being lost, lives that she could have helped save in some way.

Coming to a conclusion on what she would do with this information she had in her possession, she looked up at her tutor and blinked like a little child.

'Since I absolutely cannot blurt out the truth, I will try to guide him in the right direction.' She determined and then got to work.

"Marquess?" She called out in her childish voice, making Sullivan raise his brow at her.

"Do you have something to say?" He replied with a question and watched as she nodded her head like a little woodpecker.

Yvonne placed the heavy book which was still on her lap onto the table between them and then placed her hands on her lap while interlocking her fingers.

"What would we do if a third plague broke out?" She inquired as though she had just gotten that doubt in her mind.

Hearing her question, Sullivan treated it as the curiosity of a child who was worried about her future and decided to alleviate her worries.

"Little Miss Yvonne has nothing to worry about since the field of medicine has advanced in the last few years." He reassured her with a gentle smile.

'That advancement was useless when the third plague hit Rosenhyde!' She growled in her mind but had to keep her cool in front of this man.

In the script that she had read and rejected so ruthlessly, there was the mention of a plague that affected a certain part of Rosenhyde immensely.

While the Capital city, Amarthea, and the Northern territories were spared from the plague's wrath, the Central and Southern territories were not so lucky.

The higher temperature of the southern territories acted as a catalyst that spread the plague much faster causing those places to be affected more intensely.

People were dropping dead like ants and the relief team that was stationed in Amarthea could only reach those territories after a few weeks of the laborious journey.

By the time they reached those places, many had already died and the ones remaining alive due to their luck and better physical health were the only ones who could survive.

King Greggor had only made three hospitals, one in Amarthea, one in the midland in a fief called Carter and the last in the southernmost fief of Rosenhyde called Wescot.

Thinking of this major flaw in their policies, Yvonne shook her head in dismay.

They had the medication to save the people but the fact that they did not have transportation or proper thought out logistics was a fatal drawback during the time of need.

They also did not find the need to build more hospitals in other parts of the Kingdom which later cost so many people their lives.

"Marques, what would happen if, Asmodeus forbid, a new plague breaks out and the citizens don't get timely aid?" She polled him and was met with a confused reaction from him.

"Why would they not get timely aid?" He retorted while rubbing his chin.

Yvonne rolled her eyes and then decided to educate this man about the shortcomings in this Kingdom's policies.

"Where is the Royal Medical Association located?" She quizzed him which brought an amused smile to his face.

Royal Medical Association was the central and core part of the medical society in Rosenhyde.

This is the place where all the great medical geniuses put their knowledge together to make the cure for various diseases.

'She knows the answer to that question so this could only mean that she is testing me!' He scoffed at her before opening his mouth to answer her.

"In Amarthea, the Capital city." He declared and received an appreciative nod from her.

"Where are the three major hospitals that were built after the second plague in case such a situation ever arose again?" She asked and Sullivan's brows rose higher than before.

"Three hospitals. In the lands of Amarthea, Carter, and Wescott." He disclosed information that they both were already aware of.

Yvonne was pleased that he was answering her without asking why she was quizzing him about these matters.

"How long does it take to make the medicines in case a plague broke out?" she did not wait for his reply and moved to the next query.

"And how long does it take to transport them to the afflicted areas which may or may not be in the lands around the three hospitals?" Her final question made him freeze.
