'Boom!'
A blast rang out when Xie Xian suddenly attacked Cao Xu after standing up. The people watching the battle had thought that Cao Xu had already won, but Xie Xian had stood up once again.
And this time, he was more powerful than ever.
"I will kill you!!"
Xie Xian screamed as his sword turned into a ray of light and aimed for Cao Xu's heart. In an instant, the distance between them closed, but Cao Xu wasn't willing to die so soon.
He blocked the attack and concentrated on pushing him back.
'I can't go down after what I sacrificed!'
Cao Xu thought and connected his consciousness with his sword. The blade of shadow was not a normal sword, but the weapon from the legends.
Only Cao Xu can control it and the hidden soul living in the sword was of the wolf of darkness. On Cao Xu's calling, the wolf leapt out from the sword and plunged at Xie Xian.
But Xie Xian just swung his blade and slashed it into two.
"You can't have that much power...!"
For the very first time, Cao Xu's eyes trembled as he witnessed the power of Xie Xian which was just growing every second.
If Cao Xu was the apostle of darkness, then Xie Xian was the apostle of light.
Both of them were opposites of each other, but it was common sense that darkness can't win against light as a single beam of light was enough to drove away the darkness.
That light was Xie Xian.
'I can't give up now. I need to call out my true power!'
Cao Xu said and closed his eyes. He focused and the collected all his power of darkness at the tip of his blade. His eyes became sunken and deep like the darkness was devouring him.
Still, he didn't care about anything and attacked Xie Xian.
Both of their swords clashed with each other and their speeds increased to an inhumanely level. It was hard to follow them with n.a.k.e.d eyes and the people watched them rubbed their eyes.
It was hard to believe the spectacle in front of them.
'Swish!' 'Swish!'
Xie Xian aimed and attacked at Cao Xu's head and in response, Cao Xu lowered his head and moving his sword in a weird motion.
It was one of his three secret martial arts.
Cao Xu first slashed at Xie Xian's leg, but that attack was easily dodged. Before there can be a counter attack, Cao Xu quickly twisted his sword and attacked at his sides.
"Gawk!"
A painful groan came out of Xie Xian's mouth as he felt a cold object entering his body. It hurts like hell and some blood leaked from the corner of his mouth.
That was the closest he had been to Cao Xu and with each step, Cao Xu was plunging his sword inside him.
"I told you I'm invincible and no one can defeat me. NO ONE!!"
"Uh, I won't die...!!"
"You are already close to it!"
Cao Xu said as he gritted his teeth, but there was a smile on his face. An evil smile!
After killing Xie Xian, he would finish off his brother and sister. Then, he would take the throne foe himself and become the next emperor of the mighty Liang empire.
'Ying, if you were here today, then...'
Cao Xu was also a normal human when she was in his life, but her death has made him into a monster. No, everyone has conspired together to make a monster known as Cao Xu!!

"Y-you lost control of your powers. In the end, you are just a normal human without any supernatural abilities of your own. In the end, your power was borrowed and you have already reached past the point where your body can't sustain this much power... Haha!"
Xie Xian laughed in the end, but Cao Xu's pace just got more and more pale. He was personally experiencing his body breaking away.
Xie Xian can handle his powers because he was a dijinn, but Cao Xu was a human. A human has limited capacity in the end and Cao Xu has already surpassed it.
'This is my chance!'
Seeing Cao Xu in pain, Xie Xian quickly gripped his sword and pierced Cao Xu's stomach. A cold penetrating sword entered his c.h.e.s.t, causing dark blood to flow out.
In an instant, the situation has changed and Cao Xu's eyes shook, sensing the severity of the situation.
Even after that, his face didn't have a sense of helplessness or fear. He just glared at Xie Xian with his bloodshot eyes.
"You still have a chance. Tell me, why did you kill my Master??"
"Ah... That old man... deserved to die... I would have killed him again if he was alive...!"
"My Master was a kind man and you killed him. You are really a monster who just knows how to kill, but today, I will avenge my Master's death and end you...!!!!"

Cao Xu threw out more blood saying that and his sword fell to the ground. His body started turning black and his veins appeared on his neck.
'Ying, I hope I can meet you again in afterlife...'
He thought and closed his eyes.
