"Director Zhao, what does CEO Xu wants from me now?"
Ren asked as he looked at Director Zhao. His hair was ruffled because he had just came back from Hongdian and his face has signs of tiredness.
Maybe, it was because of jet lag, but Ren really looked tired to Director Zhao.
"I would told you if I know. You know how the CEO is, but it must be something urgent that she called you straight from the airport."
"Yeah, I hope it's not a bad news."
"Don't worry. I don't think it's a bad news or she won't be like this. Just go in and finish the talk quickly."
Director Zhao patted his shoulders and said. Honestly, he had an idea about what CEO Xu wanted to talk about with Ren, but he was silent as he wasn't sure.
He just hoped that Ren won't be overwhelmed.
"You are not coming with me?"
Ren asked with an awkward smile on his face. He was used to talking with CEO Xu, but the pressure that she gave always made him uncomfortable.
It was like she can see through his mind.
"She wants to talk to you alone."
"Uh, can't I at least take White bear with me?"
Ren glanced at White bear who was standing besides him and asked. The expression on the face of White bear quickly changed when he heard that.
He quickly opened his mouth to speak.
"Me? I don't think I should go."
"Why? Can't you accompany me there?"
"Uh..."
White bear scratched his cheeks hearing that. He was not willing to go with Ren because Jiang Wan has already filled his mind with all sorts of rumours about CEO Xu.
It was better to stay away from her.
"You are making it a big issue. Ren, just go in! You have been in CEO's office many times. Why are you even acting like this?"
Director Zhao said quickly, seeing the banter between Ren and White bear. They were just wasting time here.
"I just don't have a good feeling about this."
"I don't think it's something bad, so just go in and come back quickly."
Ren slowly nodded his head and sighed. He slapped his cheeks with both of his hands and took a deep breath.
"Huuh!"
'I really don't have a good feeling about this.'
He thought in his mind, but still moved towards CEO Xu's office. Standing in front of the door, he prepared his mind before knocking.
"Can I come-"
"Just come in!"
A voice came from the inside before he can even finish his sentence. It was a cold female voice that can send chills down anyone's spine.
Ren recognised the voice well and entered the room.
An exquisite room that a normal person would only see in a drama or a movie was in front of him.
There was a expensive looking sofa and a coffee table placed in one of the corners of the room.
Ren glanced at this room that he was seeing after months for sometime before moving his gaze up to the executive table and chair that was placed in front of the large window.
She was CEO Xu!
"It's been sometime since we have last talked."
"Yeah, it's been more than three months."
Ren sat down in front of CEO Xu and greeted her. He has known this woman for almost two years now, but she still looked the same.
This made him remember one of the nicknames she had in the company - 'Witch!'.
"How you have been?"
When CEO Xu said that, Ren shook his head of all the unnecessary thoughts and replied.
"I have been good. The shooting ended nicely and there wasn't much trouble between the cast too. So, why do you wanted to talk to me?"
Ren quickly came to the topic as he knew that CEO Xu didn't like to talk about unnecessary things for now.
"It seems like you are in a hurry"
"I just know that you don't like wasting time."
CEO Xu grinned when she heard that and put both of her hands on top of each other. Then, she raised her face to look at Ren and opened her lips with a little smirk.
"I just wanted to talk about your future plans. After all, there is only one year left to your contract?"
"Ah!"
Ren's eyes went round hearing that. He had thought about various things while coming here, but he never thought that she wanted to talk about his contract renewal.

"Your last shot was really impressive! The way you play a scared high school girl in a school filled with murderes is something that not many people can do. I bet people and critics would praise you after the movie release."
A handsome guy with a slightly round face and some fake blood on his clothes praised Xiao Rin and looked at her with a charming smile.
He was one of the lead actors in the movie called «Death school».
"Thank you for your praise, but I need to go now."
"Why are you leaving so soon? We can have dinner together today. I know a five star restaurant just close to here-"
"No thanks!"
Xiao Rin coldly refused him and bowed her head a little. Then, she packed her things and started walking towards Chief Han, who was waving at her from a distance.
The handsome actor's face fell seeing that. He was trying to impress Xiao Rin since the shooting had started, but there was no effect on her.
It was like she have no emotions.
"She refused again today?"
As he was frowning, his manager came towards him and asked.
"Yeah, no matter what I try, she's like a statue that don't have expressions. Do you think she's a lesbian?"
"I don't think so. Maybe, she is just not interested in you."
"How can that be? Girls always fall for me when I sweet talk a little and smile at them."
"Then, she likes someone already."
The manager pulled out a cigarette and started smoking. The handsome actor tilted his head while wondering about his words and asked.
"Are there any dating rumours of her?"
"There are not, but there's something I heard recently from my friend who works in Top star entertainment."
"What?"
The manager puffed out smoke and opened his mouth to answer.
"Apparently, she's really close with Xin Ren. Both of them are too close to be just called friends, but there's nothing to confirm it since Top star entertainment is really s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e about these stuff."
"You think they are dating?"
The handsome actor frowned and asked, but his manager just shook his head.
"It looks one sided... at least currently."
"Then, I still have a chance!"
The handsome actor rejoiced and his manager patted his shoulders.
"You should give up on her. You are just after her body anyway, so it's better to give up."
"Why are you saying that?"
The manager didn't answer at once and thought about it before opening his mouth again.
"Girls like her, they don't let go when they decide on something. You can call it infatuation or possessiveness, but they make it their goal to achieve what they had decided on... so, it's better to not touch someone like that or you will be bitten hard!"
