"I underestimated CEO Xu..."
Ren mumbled as he left the CEO's office.
Walking through the corridor, he had various thoughts in his mind and at the same, there was also a little fear inside his heart.
It was because of one question.
'How much more does CEO Xu know?'
Ren had no idea that CEO Xu was observing him this much all along. He also doesn't know how much more she knows and there was no way of knowing.
But as he considered her personality, it did seem like something she would do.
After all, CEO Xu was only able to reach her current position due to her intellect, observation skills and her ability to distinguish between people.
When his thoughts reached that place, Ren realised that it was mostly his fault. He should have been more vigilant.
If she found out that he had regressed to the past, then...
'No, that's not possible!'
Ren took a deep breath thinking about that and shook his head. There was no way anyone would come to that conclusion and there was no way to prove it anyway.

Thinking like that, he reached the lounge area on the fourth floor and sat down. He needed to rest for a bit or he felt like he would really crumble.

There were too many things, but he analysed them one by one. There wasn't much to think about the special episode and his mini album.
Those two were just his next work.
The main thing was CEO Xu's offer of Hollywood, contract renewal and how much she has observed him.
'I already rejected the Hollywood offer.'
He needs to think about it for that time, but honestly, there was not much to think about it. It was certainly an enticing offer, but Ren didn't want to be too greedy.
'As for the contract renewal, I have a year to think about it carefully.'
Ren pushed this matter at the back of his mind and with a sigh, he began to think about the last thing.
It was also the reason he was feeling mentally tired.
'One thing is clear, CEO Xu hadn't thought about the possibility of me being a regressor!'
It would be more weird if she would have considered that possibility but it seems like Ren was safe, at least for now.
Still, he had never thought that she would be observing him this much all along. It was a bit of a shock to him, but he quickly accepted the situation.
Other people in the industry who are not close to Ren would just gloss his acting as natural talent and even Chu Min, who was his close friend, didn't doubt him.
But CEO Xu had easily found out about his limits.
Although the hypothesis she had thought of was a bit flawed, it was a good thing for Ren and he didn't plan to tell her the truth either.

As he was thinking of his next move, he heard a shout.
Ren moved his head and saw White bear, Director Zhao and… Xiao Rin coming his way. Their faces were slightly worried as Ren hadn't come back yet.
"Where were you? I thought the meeting was going on for too long, so I called CEO Xu's secretary, but she told me that it already ended 10 minutes ago."
Director Zhao said while glancing all over his body. His expression was asking, 'Did something happen?'.
White bear also added.
"Yeah, we were looking for you all over the place. Why were you sitting here? What did you talk about with the CEO?"
Ren quickly made an excuse and replied.
He can't talk about the contents of what happened in the CEO office openly, so he made an excuse.
"It was nothing much. CEO Xu was just talking about «Slayers» and my mini album. As I was leaving the CEO office, I suddenly felt tired, so I came here to rest."
"It must be because of the flight."
White bear said and Ren nodded his head quietly. He felt glad that his excuse worked on White bear but the same can't be said about Director Zhao.
Ren glanced at him from the corner of his eye and saw that he was slightly glaring at him. He really didn't believe his excuse.
His expression was like he was saying, 'Do you really think I would believe that?' but as he opened his mouth.
"Are you sure nothing else—"
His phone started ringing!
Director Zhao ceased his face seeing the caller and quickly walked away, saying that he needed to take this call. It seemed like the phone call was from a famous director.
'I was lucky.'
Ren sighed while thinking that and moved his gaze to Xiao Rin, who was blinking her eyes looking at him.
It seemed like she was really happy seeing Ren as there was a constant smile on her small face. As she felt Ren's gaze, she swiftly opened her lips.
"Brother Ren, are you really fine?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just slightly tired due to the flight. By the way, what are you doing here, Xiao Rin?"
He asked while tilting his head. He didn't expect Xiao Rin to be here, especially because of her busy schedule but she has already thought of an excuse for that.
"My shooting finished quickly today, so I came to meet you."
"You should have gone home if that was the case. You should rest when you can."
Xiao Rin shook her head hearing that and with a dazzling smile that seemed to illuminate the whole world, she opened her mouth.
"I just wanted to see you first."
