Chapter 20:

Blacksun Town.

This was originally an ordinary town, but it was later occupied by the Black Sun Cult and transformed into their headquarters.

Thousands of believers gathered here and even formed a patrol team. The 'black sun' of the church was the captain, responsible for clearing the dangerous species and other monsters nearby, creating a huge camp in the apocalypse.

Aaron had followed the convoy of captives all the way to the town, confirming the cult's stronghold.

When he entered the dream, he naturally entered Blacksun Town.

'Black Sun ... I wonder if he can discover me?'

'Although this is just a cult created by a group of people who blindly worship him, for safety's sake, I shouldn't go near the sacrificial site ...'

Aaron spent some time walking around Blacksun Town, and immediately found Xiu, Eyke, and the rest.

They were imprisoned in a stone house, but were not mistreated.

"Let's go, the high priest is about to preach. It's a great honour for you to receive his grace!"

A black-robed man took out a key and opened the prison door.L1tLagoon witnessed the first publication of this chapter on Ñøv€l--B1n.

Xiu walked out, her eyes slightly narrowed, emitting a dangerous glint. But looking at the believers gathering from all directions, she did not resist.

Thousands of people quickly gathered in the town square, many of them looking lost, some with hatred. They were obviously the scavengers who had been captured.

"Silence!"

The high priest slowly walked up to the high platform and pressed down with his palm.

The formless pressure fell, and the field suddenly became dead silent.

The high priest smiled in satisfaction and said loudly, "Praise the Lord!"

"Praise the Lord!"

A large number of members of the Black Sun Cult responded, their expressions pious and fanatical.

"Praise the Lord!"

"Worship the Lord!"

...

After three rounds of cheers and responses, the high priest's expression became solemn, "My Lord, Black Sun, is the Lord of Eclipse, the Undying Sun, the only salvation in the world!

"He was born from the sun, the ruler of the sky!

As for how many people the Black Sun Cult had driven mad to obtain this information, Aaron could not imagine.

...

"High Priest, I ... I am willing to join the cult!"

A homeless man staggered to the edge of the platform, his expression devout and fanatical.

"Child, we welcome you as a member!"

The high priest personally helped him up, a warm smile on his face. "After entering the cult, everyone will be brothers and sisters ... Next, I will teach you the 'Immortal Ritual'. It will gradually awaken your pyrolyte spirituality, and from then on, become someone like me."

"Woo..."

The homeless man directly cried. "I want to obtain power, I want to avenge my parents and children, even if I fall into the abyss!"

Power!

In the apocalyptic world, it was even more important.

And revenge was the flame that ignited emotions!

Immediately, among the scavengers, a few more stood up and loudly expressed their willingness to submit.

The Black Sun Cult did not reject anyone, and accepted them all.

This scene made Eyke a little excited.

He also wanted to obtain extraordinary power to protect everything he cherished!

Xiu hugged the siblings tightly, lowering her voice. "You have to be careful of this person. In the apocalyptic world, everyone is crazy, just to different degrees ... I don't believe he's so selfless, like a saint. He must be plotting something!"

...

Aaron looked at this group of people, feeling that they would not be able to hold on for long, and would soon join the Black Sun Cult.

However, this was not a big deal.

What made him even happier was that the high priest had personally explained the path of the Extraordinary to them.

According to him, the members had a total of three stages. At the beginning, one needed to constantly practice the breathing technique and meditation, as well as be stimulated by flames to awaken the pyrolyte spirituality in the body.

Aaron saw many of the Black Sun Cult members with burn scars. They were probably injured because of this, but they called this a "Stigmata".

Walking on the path of the Extraordinary required a certain amount of qualifications. Many of the members remained at this stage, and some even burned themselves alive without being able to advance.

However, this still could not stop a large number of members from walking on this path.
