He raised Dietrich and stabbed it straight through the male Ember Bellow Lizard's head. The spear tip tore through the tough scales as if they were made of chalk and cut into the supple flesh. Blood seeped out from the wound immediately as a hole was poked straight through the skull.
Arthur needed no skill, as a simple attack was enough to finish a defenseless lizard.

And with Brambles not pinning it down, the Ember Bellow Lizard moved its head towards Arthur and opened it wide.
A red glow could be seen deep in its gullet as a scorching heat spread out.

He was sure that it wasn't the weaker Ember Bellow, as it would then inflate its cheek pouches, but rather the stronger and higher cost Draconid breath. It was a testament to the anger of the Ember Bellow Lizard.
"I can do it!" Arthur was currently mid-air, and the fiery breath of the female Ember Bellow Lizard was already coming towards him.
Its speed was fast, and Arthur couldn't dodge it right now even if he wanted. But he didn't care and decided to just endure it while doing his best to change the direction.
