Chapter 182 Triggering An Orc War

>Player Arzhur's Stamina has fallen below 5%!<

"Haa... Haa..." Arthur looked at the warning and sat down trying to catch his breath.

His level up's had helped him have greater stamina than before thus he could run longer than usual. If not for that, he might not have lasted this long and would have had to stop midway to recuperate.

'Though I still have the Free Stat points as a backup. If I have an emergency, I'll use them.' Arthur was fully ready to use the Free Stat points, but thankfully he had managed to outrun the Orcs as well as escape without any issues from the Bandits.

Plus the Bandits had no idea he was ever there and were now under a threat from the Orcs.

Once Arthur had sat down, he thought about the possible scenarios that could happen.

'Even with the damage I dealt to the Trunel Orc tribe, they still have greater numbers than the bandits.' Arthur thought to himself.

Having infiltrated the bandit hideout, he had seen the bandits.

'Though the Orcs were a bit under leveled compared to the bandits... but their numbers and fearlessness should covers for that.' Arthur reckoned.

After all, the Orcs had been triggered into a war now and they would not be backing down. The Orcs also had several moral raising skills that could send their kin in a frenzy.

They'll attack relentlessly until they were dead or their foe had died.

The bandits on the other hand were humans and a lot more susceptible to fear. It didn't help that most of the bandits in the camp seemed to be new and didn't have the same level of camaraderie as the other bandits.

Arthur had heard enough about the recruitments that he knew the Bandits were not fully attached to the group. Plus, there was the distrust that was present due to the actions of the Cultists of Iltan.

'There's a chance they'll crumble the moment they see a swarm of Orcs charging at them.' Arthur pondered on it finding it to be quite likely.

He rested until he felt his stamina had regenerated and decided to move to a better location.

"That hill will be perfect." Arthur spotted a hill that was about five hundred meters from where he was.

It was a bit close to the bandit hideout, and he wouldn't have gone there before this due to the chance of getting caught, but now he was going there to observe.

'Plus I'll be running away soon after.' Arthur thought.

As such, he went to the hill and climbed up. The inclination of the hill was rather steep, thus it took Arthur a bit of effort to climb, but he still managed to reach the top in about fifteen minutes.

"That gives a decent enough look." Arthur gazed at the Bandit hideout which was wholly unaware of the danger heading towards it.

He only waited for ten minute minutes, before Arthur sensed some movement in the distant trees.

"Hoho, they're here earlier than I thought." Arthur knew the disturbance wasn't any other animal but rather the Orcs.

And as they got closer, it only became more apparent. The Orcs were in a state of anger and knocked down any trees that stood in their way.

They were quite literally mowing a path through the woods, which they normally wouldn't do.

"What's that sound?" Eventually the bandits in the hideout heard the trees being broken.

"Are they chopping trees again?" Someone asked. "Did the Chief ask for more wood or something?"

"I don't think so... we already have plenty of wood in the stockpile."

"Huh... Strange—" The bandits who were wondering whether to check out the strange sounds suddenly heard something else.

"OGHO!" "OGHO!" "Wait... that... those cries..." The bandits who were near the periphery started to hear some cries.

"OGHO!" "OGHO!" The war cries of the Orcs became louder by the minute as well, until eventually they were heard by all the Bandits!

~BOOM~

And soon, an explosion was heard before smoke rose up on the sky.

"FIRE!" the bandits shouted.

"FIRE IN THE WOODS!"

The bandits knew how deadly a forest fire could be and knew they had to put it out. If not, their hideout could suffer as well.

~BOOM~ BOOM~

But they soon heard more explosions, which made them sure that this wasn't just any normal fire.

"Magic! Someone's using magic!" A few of the mages among the bandits sensed the mana waves at this point.

"Someone's attacking us?" The bandits couldn't believe this.

"Who could even come this far?" they wondered.

"AHHHAGHH!"

"NOOO!!"

But their worries only multiplied as the painful cries of a few bandits were heard.

"IT'S THE WATCHER! THEY'RE BEING ATTACKED!" someone shouted.

"OGHO!" "OGHO!" "RUN! IT'S THE ORCS!"

"THE ORCS ARE ATTACKING! THEY HAVE A MA—" Before the bandit could finish speaking though, he was struck by a fireball and blasted apart.

~BOOM~

Finally, the fake tree barrier of the hideout was blasted down, as hundreds of furious Orcs became visible.

And at the forefront of them was none other than the elderly Orc.

The Shaman's eyes were red with fury as a fireball hovered above his hands.

"IN THE NAME OF BULUNG! SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!" The Shaman roared.

"BULUNG!"

"BULUNG!"

"BULUNG!"

"BULUNG!"

A cacophony of Orc cries was heard as the army charged into the compound while chanting the name of their deity.

~BOOM~ BOOM~

The Orc Shaman continued to shoot out fireballs, setting fire to more of the area, cutting off any path of retreat for the bandits.

"Dammit! Why are Orcs attacking us all of a sudden?" one of the Bandit captains cursed.

They had rushed out of the caves to take a look at the uproar and were stunned.

"No.... It's an ORC SHAMAN!" one of the more knowledgeable bandits recolonized the elderly Orc. "Call the Chief! We can't fight against that!"

"YOU HUMANS SHALL SUFFER FOR YOUR ACTIONS! YOU DARE HURT MY TRIBE!" The Orc Shaman was already too deep into his anger.

He raised his hands up high before bringing them down.

"Mud Wave!"
