But now he was unable to do that and a beast was standing in its way.

Thus, the boar rapidly shook its head, slamming away the horn of the Ten Pronged Horned Deer. With the meaty muscular neck of the Razer Tusk Boar, this was as easy as snapping a twig.

The Ten Pronged Horned Deer was given a bad shock and was forced to twist its neck.

But that was what spelled the end of the maddened beast.

A wide smile appeared on Arthur's face as he saw his experience bar start to rise gain. As much as he wanted to laugh out loud in joy, he knew it was not the right time.
'Time for a tactical retreat!' Arthur switched his direction and started to run once again.
In just a few seconds, he was already gone from the line of sight of the Razer Tusk Boar.

Of course, the Razer Tusk Boar was not going to forget him this easily. It let out a few confused grunts before sniffing the air.

The Razer Tusk Boar was something that could smell tubers hiding underground. There was no way it would lose Arthur. It accurately detected his scent and started charging after him again.

Its hooves tramped upon the ground and anything that came in its way, as it charged in the direction of Arthur. Fury was visible in its bloodshot eyes while hot blood dripped down its body.
The horn of the Ten Pronged Horned Deer was still stuck in its body and was causing it to bleed.

Arthur who was over two hundred meters away from the beast saw the notification and wondered if his luck was working again.
"The longer it bleeds, the better." Arthur muttered.

'If I can get bleed inflicted a few more times on it, things should get a lot more easier.' Arthur reckoned as the plan became clearer in his mind.
He weaved through the trees and headed towards a particular direction. Arthur knew he need extra help to get rid of the Razer Tusk Boar and it was exactly where he intended to go. The rough plan was getting concrete.

"I should have just enough to reach there." Arthur estimated. "Perhaps even more."
Arthur's unending sprint supported by his replenished stamina allowed him to maintain a decent distance between him and the Razer Tusk Boar.
Ten minutes passed like this in chase while the distance between the two parties shortened. From the original two hundred meters, it had now fallen to just a hundred meters. Even with his head start, Arthur could only gain some buffer and not maintain it.

He could now hear the sounds behind him loud and clear. The Razer Tusk Boar's hooves stomped upon the earth, shattered stones and broke the plants that laid in its path. Wherever it ran, it carved out its own trail!
If other players were to come across this are later on, they would be confused as to why there was a random trail going through the forest.
To Arthur though this was the present and he needed to get out of it quick.
"Almost there," Arthur said between his huffs.
He had now been running for twelve minutes straight, something his real body would be unable to do.

Even the notification was telling him that he was reaching his limits. If he drained all of his stamina, he would be inflicted with the 'Fatigued' debuff and wouldn't be able to recover his stamina for a few minutes after that.
It was a troublesome debuff that many players would be facing in the coming days, or were already facing.
"Dammit! I'm out of water too." Arthur finished the last of his water before storing away the flask.

"HAHA! I knew there was something wrong before." Artur uncovered another one of the mysteries of the ruins.
When he had arrived earlier, he had thought that there was a lack of danger in the ruins. Even with the Ruin guardians that he had encountered, they simply did not match the level that was described in the forums.
This led Arthur to believe that there was some change that had happened in the time period when players had attempted to raid this location. And that reason turned out to be none other than combat status.
It was normal for the players to struggle to reach here. In fact, there was a high chance they would be chased around by mobs and stumbled upon the ruins accidentally. In fact, that was how the location was said to have been discovered originally.
Unlike Arthur who had silently sneaked into the ruins and finished part of the quest.

The sound of the Razer Tusk Boar's footsteps changed as its hooves hit the solid rock floor under it. And unlike the rocks and stones that cracked under the might of the boar, this stone floor was quite tough.
