NPC Training grounds, Deloris town;

More than 3000 members of the Scarlet guild gathered at the training grounds.

Usually, this is the place where NPC will teach players, basic techniques in exchange for a fee.

At the end of their training, every player would receive a random skill. Those who can't afford to spend time/money outside at the classes will attend here at a cheaper price.

But right now, here on the grounds, neither a sight of a single NPC can be seen nor the player who wanted to train. It was currently booked by the Scarlet guild or should one say, "Occupied".

After all, Wil is appointed as the Governor of the Eldershore region. Along with Eldershore city and Deloris town, he also holds absolute authority over the NPC town of Oclus along with the player town of Star.

No one is more surprised than guild leader Starlight upon receiving the system announcement. At that moment, he really regretted building his town in this region.

Starlight only wants to use Wil's military to fortify his town until their average levels increase to 300.

How could he have expected that Wil suddenly becomes the Governor...

Now, he has no choice but to sit in Wil's boat, no matter how high the waves going to hit it.

Back to the training grounds, Evie (SnowDew), Aster (Shadow Blade), RockFist, Hyori (Yelir), and a few other Elites who were contracted stood together before their guild members.

The guild members stood in a group, 120 per each batch before their respective examiners.

All of the examiners have a list of names with them who were selected.

Everyone is silent, anticipating the results.

A day earlier, each batch led by their examiner to the wild zones and dungeons to test their strength in PVE and then, made them participate in Arena for PVP.

In the middle of those 3000 members, there is an average looking teenager, who has a worried look on his face.

His name is Louis Knight with the same ign and he is a high school freshman.

If one considers his background, he is nothing special. Average grades, Parents are school teachers, Average appearance, no girlfriend, etc… But, he harbors a deep secret.

Louis looked at the squad captains of the guild and then glanced at the holographic screen before him.

Quest: Get the Ancient Tome of Michael from player Time Traveler.

Description: Archangel Michael, one of the ten demi-gods sealed all of his power into the tome before he died. As someone who was recognized by the spirit of Michael and acquired his weapons, you have to acquire his legacy at all costs.

Rewards: Inheritance of Archangel Michael.

That's right… Louis is the one who found the tomb of Archangel Michael and acquired one mythic grade gun and one legendary grade belt but there was no book there.

For whatever reasons, the book was unfortunately auctioned in the system auction house and landed in the hands of Wil.

Without inheritance, Louis can't use the weapons. So, he joined the guild the moment they started to recruit. Because he isn't very skilled in either fighting or strategizing, he decided to work on the contribution, instead.

Aster then addressed everyone, "those who were selected in the Elite division, please step forward and stand behind our back."

"Yelir…" Aster gestured her to start as she's in charge of the first group.

Hyori started to speak about the results of group 1. "First, Elite-division…"

Those who were sorted into group 1 became alerted, not intending to think about anything else.

Meanwhile, a few people from other groups glanced at a certain girl nearby them. The same goes for a certain young man who was standing in the front line.

"Congratulations, Misty Mermaid, Mimetic, Salpinx, and Red Dragon."

Everyone immediately nodded as they expected Misty Mermaid to be selected. Her progress in the past week is indeed clear to everyone else. As for Red Dragon, it's obvious since he's famous in East Ocean city who leads the Imperial guild to the top as the Vice guild leader.

The four of them walked forward and stood behind them. Even though they stood apart only a few meters, the rest of the guild members as if the distance between the four of them and the rest increased by a lot.

Hyori continued, "Now, A-division… Congratulations, Abiland, Mirosa, Castory…"

A total of 28 members were selected in the remaining 116 making everyone gasp at once. The rest of them were dropped into B-division.

The standards of the Scarlet guild are indeed very high. This is the thought everyone had at the moment.

Louis started to worry.

Hyori stepped back and one of the Elites stepped forward with a list. As a former thug who was used to collect protection money from the vendors, his mere glare put a lot of pressure on these naïve teenagers and college students.

"Elite-division: None."

"A-division: None."

His declaration made everyone stunned while the other Elites turned their heads towards him.

Feeling the gaze, he quickly explained to Aster, "Boss, I evaluated them on courage. When facing more than ten common grade beasts, none of them even tried to fight. They just try to run away and add more enemies to the back…

In my opinion, it's okay to be a fool rather than be a wimp. Even if their contribution and level are high, I can't pass them… I apologize."

"Very well." Aster nodded to him and then spoke to group 2, "Guild leaders told me that the examiner should have every right on the result. In the Scarlet guild, the Elites division isn't just made up of strong individuals. It is also where the guild leader will place his trust in them.

That's why, as a member of the Elites division, his opinion will be considered. So, all of you are dropped to the B-division. Better luck, next time."

Evaluations continued. Some were happy with their results while some are unhappy and felt wrong. Some people also felt it's unfair that their examiner's evaluation is too strict compared to others. They can't help but blame their bad luck.

Soon, Aster's turn arrived.

"Group-24. Elite's Division: None"

Everyone sighed, expecting it. After hearing out other evaluations, most of them already dropped their hopes.

"A-division: Congratulations …"

Louis' heart started beating heavily. Well, not literally but he felt like that as Aster speaking a name one by one.

"Louis Knight, Ixia, and Calcar. That's it. The rest of you guys are dropped to B-division."

'Yes…' Louis clenched his fist in excitement and a wide smile appeared on his face, 'I made it to A-division. My next goal is to enter the Elite Division, get closer to Time Traveler, and acquire the tome. If it doesn't work, I can still sell the weapons.

After all, even if these two pieces of equipment are useless to everyone, it is indeed useful to Time Traveler.

I can at least sell it to him for ten million dollars. That's an amount I can't earn in my life.'

Soon, three more groups' results are out.

With only 457 members are selected to A-division, everyone dispersed with mixed feelings, leaving behind 36 members who stood behind the Elites.

Aster addressed them, "Once again, congratulations on getting selected for the main/Elite division."

They too cheered for themselves with a clap.

Aster continued, "But, as you know, according to the rules, only those who are contracted to the guild can enter the division.

A salary of ten thousand dollars per month, one year contract. The salary can be changed after every monthly evaluation by the guild leader.

You can either sign a contract with the guild or you can choose to be free and stay in A-division. We'll give you a day of time. If you decided, our representative will meet you personally and handle the process."

Unlike the last time, all of them just agreed on the spot, bringing a smile to Aster's face.

Meanwhile, at an unnamed island in North Grennola Ocean;

*Ding! You killed the big head tortoise.

*Ding! You have reached the maximum level. You received 0 exp.

*Ding! A sea orb has been obtained.

"Finally…" Wil sighed in relief as he collected all the necessary parts.

Then, he mumbled, "Ravens' Warship status."

A holographic screen appeared before him.

On the right side, there's a picture of a huge ship with several holes, and on the left, the details are written.

Ravens' Warship

Status: Heavily Damaged.

Durability (HP): 10 m/ 100 B

All out Cannon: Take control of all the cannons and fire the cannonballs automatically without the need for manual labor for 5 minutes. Cost: 500 mana points. CD: 120 minutes.

On the bottom of the screen, there's an option of Repair. He clicked on it.

The screen loaded for a while.

*Ding! 9999 Sea orbs have been deducted from inventory. Warship's durability increased by 99,990,000,000.

*Ding! The Warship has been completely repaired.

With a thought in his mind, an enormous ship has been summoned on the surface of the ocean.

Looking at the brand new warship, Wil jumped on it and climbed down. The cannons were placed perfectly, 16 on both side, and 3 on behind. Cannonballs and the barrels of wine are neatly arranged.

The electricity is running well, although it runs while charging 1 gold coin per week.

Wil entered the control room. Besides the steering wheel, there are monitors that are displaying the view on different sides of the ship on each screen.

There's also a fist-sized red button, which has an extraordinary ability. Wil smiled as he pushed it.
