#Abandoned Farm

“Ah, father?

There was a picture identical to what Hae-joon was holding in his wallet inside the small picture frame on the desk. With happy smiles on their faces, his mother, father, and himself stood side by side.

Father.

Obviously, this place was definitely the space my father used. I searched the room, but I couldn’t find any traces of my father.

Hae-joon’s curiosity grew.

I wondered why my father left the house, why did he open a store here, and when and why he went missing…

‘Let’s just stay here for a bit until we figure out what’s going on.’

Anyway, I have nowhere to go now that I’ve left Goshiwon. I intended to stay here for a few days in order to learn more about my father. I tried to clear my mind for a few days by walking around the scenic area, but I actually enjoyed it.

It was a condition that I can’t to sell it to anyone, so I thought I could use it as a lodging for the time being.

Having made a decision, Hae-joon got up from his seat and rolled his arms.

“I have to clean it first.”

He swept the floor and brushed off the dust that had collected on the shelves and tables. I took a mop and cleaned the dust-covered surface, which had turned white. As the residual dust was swept away, the cleaning progressed at a quicker rate.

“Let’s just think about it.” Anyway, this is the place my father gave me, and no one will be looking for it now that it has been vacant for five years. Let’s take it easy for a few days and follow the father’s footsteps.”

My entire body was drenched in sweat after cleaning the inside of the store.

“Whew… it’s hot.” That’s all for today. Tomorrow, clean up the yard, and let’s start with the washing.”

Hae-joon dragged his carrier into his father’s room, where he was supposed to spend the night.

I figured I’d be able to use this space while I was here.

“Where is my underwear?”

Hae-joon took the towel and underwear from his suitcase and stuffed them into the old closet door. There were some pieces of clothing inside that were thought to have belonged to his father. When I put them aside…?

“Uh? What is this?”

‘There is another door in the closet!’

An old wooden wardrobe that takes up the wall.

Surprisingly, it contained one more door.

I didn’t realize it because it was hidden under my clothes, but once I took them off, I could see that there was a door. To be exact, there was no additional door in the closet, but the door on the wall was sealed with a closet as if it had been done on purpose.

Krccckkkk-

He moved the wardrobe to one side with his shoulders.

The wooden closet was still empty on one side and had a “ㄷ” form with the door attached to the wall.

This is a store that was converted from an old home, so the majority of it is old, but this door somehow doesn’t appear to be like that. It’s a very old door that looks as if it belongs in a museum in Europe.

“By the way, the keyhole…”

Looking at the entrance, Hae-joon took out his father’s legacy, the key he had in his pocket.

“It appears that I have finally located the keyhole.”

I inserted the key into the opening.

The key that spins smoothly without any resistance.

Click-

Hae-joon forced the door open with the power in his arm, shifting his breath lightly.

A whistling sound came from the entrance, which had been closed tightly.

“Hah, it was opened,” says the narrator. But what exactly is it? “There’s nothing there.”

There was a deep, dark corridor beyond the door where nothing could be seen, so it would be more accurate to characterize it as a long dark tunnel with no visible end.

“I’m not sure where it’s going.” Outside the building? … Or a warehouse?”

In a restaurant, there is often a warehouse where food is kept.

Since this is an employee-only area, a warehouse is not uncommon…

But, in such a dark environment?’

Hae-joon was observing the kitchen with his eyes narrowed in suspicion.

It was empty, but there was clearly a refrigerator in the corner of the kitchen, and there was also enough room for stocking and empty shelves next to it.

‘So, this isn’t the path to the food storage, but where is the passage leading?’

Hae-joon, who had been agonizing for some time, took a step into the aisle and placed his hand against the wall.

It’s possible that this passage has something to do with his father’s disappearance.

Perhaps he died after tripping at the end of the aisle.

If that’s the case, I’ll be your son.

In the very least, the body must be recovered.

Please, please, please don’t let that happen, but if it does…

It’s a roadblock. I’ve been walking with a lot of thoughts and have come to an abrupt end.

Hae-joon’s body was sucked into the blocked wall at the time, as he was moving slowly with shaking hands.

“Ugh!”

A bright white light

Hae-joon hurriedly shielded his eyes with an unexpected bright light after his vision brightened for a brief moment.

“What?”

I couldn’t open my eyes, but a strange feeling wrapped itself around my body.

With the sound of a bird chirping, there was a breath of fresh air. The squishy, unpleasant odor that pervaded the corridor has vanished, and the fragrance of soil and wood has taken its place.

When I carefully opened my closed eyes, a strange landscape unfolded.
