Ethan just received the shocking news of his resignation that was not known to him. His own family submitted a resignation letter while telling them that he already left the country that made the president of the hospital approve it. With every second count, he can feel his whole world crash down.
"Ethan…calm down son…please you are pregnant…" said mother Aoki whose very worried about Ethan's sudden outburst. She doesn't want Ethan to get any more stress which would be bad for the baby that is inside him.
"HAHAHA!!! SON? Am I still your son? First, you ruin my life by locking me up here, and now are you ruining my career, how much more are you going to ruin me for you to be satisfied!"
"Ethan…" father Aoki can now see how fragile his youngest son is. It is not weird for him to hear from Ethan that they never laid their eyes on him. He did make him leave the main house when he was 12 years old, he prioritizes the desire of his daughter and eldest son but never his youngest. He can feel a slight regret when he got into that accident in the past but after that, it was his pride who took over him. Judging by the mood of Ethan, they can no longer push any of their thoughts to him, much more talk with sense. Ethan was too devastated by the news of his sudden unknown resignation. It is only right for them to leave the room and let Ethan rest to not to add up any more stress to him. They don't want that to be the reason for Ethan's miscarriage.
Ethan continues to cry as his parents left him alone in the room, he wanted to run away from that house but with the shackles, on his right foot, he cannot go anywhere. He wanted to call Ken but even that is not possible.
"why…why …*sob*sob* Ken…I wish you are here…*sob*sob* Ken…" The whole room was in a mess with all of the things that Ethan continue to throw on the floor. He wanted to calm down but every time he remembers what his father did, he just can't find it in him to calm down.
Minutes later, as he tries to calm down, he had forgotten that his video call was still on and Mikel can see everything that is going on inside Ethan's room. Without the chair to block what is happening, he can see how mad and sad his friend was. He just couldn't hear anything since Ethan did turn off his mic but seeing the facial expression of Ethan, he can roughly guess what is going on.
"what are you looking at?" asked Lucas the older brother of Mikel who just came inside his room.
"WAH! Brother! Don't just come in without knocking!" Mikel was so shocked when his brother suddenly talks behind him.
"I did knock you know, but after knocking for more than three times you never answered. That's why I just let myself in and here I found you looking so serious on your laptop. what are you...hmn...isn't that Ethan?"
"Yeah, we were talking about university stuff a while ago but his parents suddenly came inside that is why he turned his mic off for a while but by the looks of it they argued"
"hmn....his right foot is in shackles and he has a bump...is he pregnant?"

"that's right, which is why I find it hard to believe that he suddenly quit in the middle of it. I can feel that something is not right since Ethan did became my student and considering how much hard work he does every time we had numerous operations in one full day. It's just too weird that he will give up all of that for the sake of going to Hawaii *sigh*" Dr. Inoue can't help but feel frustrated by the sudden leave of Ethan. "Did the president told you the reason why he needs to go to Hawaii?"
"He told me that Ethan needs to help out with his maternal grandparents and possibly work in a hospital there. That's all the president knows as well, Ethan's father didn't say anything else."
"hmn…weird indeed. Maybe you should send an email to Ethan, asking him the real reason. Also, we can process a recommendation letter to the hospital in country A, that way we can ask him to work there instead"

Hopefully, they would send him an email asking him to work there as well and then I will also send an email to Ethan later to know all the details of his sudden leave.
