As soon as Dr. Inoue returns to his office, he opened his computer and started to compose a recommendation letter for Ethan. He did want to teach the omega more about their field and he also got used to having him as his first assistant during surgeries. It would be such a waste not having him continue his training. The hospital that both Dr. Inoue and Dr. Kimura were working in country A is considered an elite hospital due to a lot of very known professional doctors there.
By known professionals also means to them as genius doctors in the medical field, it was even hard for anyone to just get accepted in that hospital. Being an elite hospital doesn't mean that they only accommodate people with money but rather they always run a free consultation and the like for those who cannot afford to have themselves check in a hospital. The president wanted his hospital to have a professional doctor who will not be blinded by money easily and would value the lives of their patients the most. The name of that hospital is Elite A Private Hospital, it can be found in the capital city of country A.
"Dr. Inoue…" Dr. Lin suddenly came to the office of Dr. Inoue who is busy composing his recommendation letter.
"Hm? Dr. Lin…"
"Excuse me for my sudden appearance but I would just like to ask if it's true that Ethan resigned?" asked Dr. Lin who cannot believe the rumors that he is hearing within the hospital. He wanted to confirm it as much as possible which is why he went to the office of Dr. Inoue to directly ask about it.
"Sadly, yes. I heard it straight from the President himself just this morning" answered Dr. Inoue as he continues to type his letter.
"I can't believe it…Ethan loves his job and he even told me that he wanted to become a great doctor before he starts managing the company that was left to him by his maternal grandfather"
"Even I cannot believe it though it looks like that he will work there as well. Let's just hope that he will continue to work in the medical field. I am writing a recommendation letter for Ethan to work in the same hospital as me and Dr. Kimura but that would be in country A. I hope that they will accept Ethan there as well that way he could continue with his training there. I cannot let a talent like him go to waste, you know."
"right, anyway I just wanted to confirm about the rumors going around the hospital. I'll be going back to my work now, I still have to do my rounds before I visit my wife."
"Oh! Your wife is working in the Ob-Gyne department, right? She's pregnant right?"
"yes, well she is indeed pregnant that is why I always visit her thereafter my rounds. She'll be taking her maternity leave a month and a half from now so we'll be staying at my parent's house until the day she will give birth. I cannot let her stay at home by herself during her third trimester, too dangerous for that." Dr. Lin is now at the door and was about to leave the room.
"I see, oh! By the way, I still have a few more surgeries until the end of my stay here so I want to ask you to be my first assistant since Ethan is no longer here. And if I were to see which one who can be his substitute, I can only think of you." Dr. Inoue does acknowledge the capabilities of Dr. Lin, he is the only one he can think of to help him out with the important surgeries that he needs to do.
"Alright, just let me know the schedule of those surgeries that you need me to attend. That way I could arrange my schedule as well, you know that I also have some surgeries that I have to do. Let's just hope that it won't be on the same day or time so that we can set it properly" Dr. Lin then left the office of Dr. Inoue. He did as he has said a while ago, he went to make his rounds before going to the office of Dr. Jessica who told him that she needs to go to the house Elise for her check-up next month. Dr. Lin then said that he will accompany her which made the other protest a little since she cannot let her husband discover the secret of Elise. But she cannot win against her overprotective husband that is why she agreed to it in the end.

A month had past and it was the day that Dr. Jessica will go to the main house of the Aoki's where she will conduct the supposed to be Elise's check-up. Dr. Lin was the one driving their car as they went to their destination. She wanted to give her husband a head's up about the real situation as to not make him mad at her in any way possible but she didn't dare to confess.
"I know that Ethan's sister is a model and afraid to have some rumors about her but isn't her pregnancy already known to everyone? Why can't she just go to the hospital for her check-up?" asked Dr. Lin who can't seem to understand why did her wife have to go to the house of her patient amidst her pregnancy.
"well…it looks like her family and her husband became overprotective of her thus they wanted her check-ups to be done at home."
"*sigh* such a princess huh…" said Dr. Lin, they finally arrive at the house of Elise where they were welcomed by some of the servants of the Aoki's. They were directed to the living room where the whole family is waiting excluding Nathan who is at the company working.
"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Aoki and Ms. Elise too," said Dr. Jessica
"It's good to see you Dr. Jessica and this is?" It was the first time for them to see the husband of Dr. Jessica. That is why it isn't weird for them to not know his appearance at all.
"Oh! This is my Husband, Dr. Louie Lin of the General Surgeon Department of CGH. He accompanied me here since he is worried about me being pregnant as well."
"I see, nice to meet you, Dr. Lin," said Father Aoki who then shook hands with Dr. Lin.
"Nice to meet you Dr. Lin but Dr. Jessica does your husband know about it?" asked Mother Aoki.
"about that…not yet…" Dr. Jessica then looks at her husband with a pale face, that look didn't go unnoticed by Dr. Lin. He is now confused by what mother Aoki asked his pregnant wife.
"about that? Jessica what is Mrs. Aoki talking about?" asked Dr. Lin to his wife.
"that…Honey…please don't be angry at me, ok?"
"What is it? You are making me nervous here Honey"
"well, the truth is…The one I will be doing the check-up is Ethan and not Ms. Elise here." The truth was finally known to Dr. Lin.
"Ethan? but Ethan is in Hawaii, right? How can it be that…"
"I think Dr. Jessica and her husband should talk first so…you! Show them to one of the empty rooms. Dr. Jessica please do explain it to him and possibly make him understand the current situation" said Elise who cannot take it anymore, seeing a clueless man in front of her. She thought that it would only be Dr. Jessica who will arrive that day. But the arrival of Dr. Lin was unexpected not only to her but to her parents as well. Her plan was only limitedly known to her family, her best friend, and Dr. Jessica. Not even her husband knows about it that is why letting another person know about it is not good for her.
