After knowing about Ken cheating on him, he knew to himself that he needed to know the truth regardless of what Lucas told him was real or not he would still want a piece of evidence. It was not like he doesn't believe in Lucas but rather his heart was not ready to be broken by the one he loves the most. It would be a lie to say that he doesn't want to deny it, after all the years that they had been together a single word about Ken cheating on him won't be believable right away.
At the same time that he was trying to look for proofs, Dr. Lin suddenly sent him an email containing some pictures with it. When Ethan looked at the pictures, he then saw the proof that he was looking for. It was as if his world stop after seeing the pictures of Ken exiting CGH together with someone whom he doesn't know. The two of them look so sweet together while walking hand in hand, it is even visible from the picture that the person with Ken is pregnant. Thus, Ethan concluded that it is the omega that Lucas told him about.
It took Ethan days before he recover from the shock, the sudden pain from his belly took him back to reality. Babies can feel the sorrow of their mother even though they weren't born yet. It was not only the sorrow but no matter what kind of emotions the mother feels, their unborn child feels it too.

"do you feel any discomfort aside from the labor pains?" asked Tia, the bodyguard who was sent by Lucas to help Ethan escape after he gave birth. She notice that Ethan was in a daze while caressing his belly, Tia wanted to make sure that the omega is not in any sort of discomfort. Although during the process of labor discomfort is not something that can be avoided.
"nothing…just ah! babies take it easy for mommy please" Ethan felt a kick coming from his babies and at the same time another labor pain strike together with it that he had to caress his belly while he said those. Which became a shock to Tia who was there with him, together with shock was also worried as she doesn't want anything bad to happen to Ethan and his babies.
"what happened? Are you alright Dr. Ethan?"
"hm? *giggle* my babies just kick and it was at the same time as another contraction so I got a little shock but I'm alright now. Can you pass my tablet for me please I want to play music for my babies to listen to?"
"of course Dr. Ethan" Tia then stood up to get the tablet of Ethan which was located at the side table.
As soon as his tablet was passed to him, he played some relaxing musing and place it near his belly to let his babies hear it too. There are some studies or saying about a pregnant woman that making your babies listen to the music even when they are still inside the mother's womb would be good for the babies as well. The same goes when both parents talk to their unborn children would make the kids know the voices of their parents even if they haven't gone out of the world yet.
Babies recognize the voices of their parents which is like imprinting the baby animals to their mothers. A baby might grow up recognizing a different mother and father but the true mother who carried and cared for them during the times that they were still inside the womb would still be different.
He needs to forget about Ken for now and just focus on giving birth to his little angels. He can just deal with Ken after that and if things didn't work out well then he will do his best to move on as long as his children are with him.

The labor pains lasted for a few more hours before finally, Ethan is ready to give birth to his twins. He got transferred to the delivery room an hour ago while the whole family of Ethan was now waiting inside his room as Dr. Melissa was getting ready.
"now then, are you ready Dr. Aoki?" asked Dr. Melissa who is now in position.
"yes…aaahhh!!!" answered Ethan as he felt extreme pain. Dr. Melissa then started to ask him to push to let the babies be delivered. The first baby finally came out after 10 minutes, it became easier for Ethan since the babies are really about to come out. The first one was a boy and the second baby who came out 5 minutes after the first one was a girl. When the twins were finally born they made sure that both of the babies were very healthy before they gave them to Elise and mother Aoki.
Tia wanted to get the babies but that wouldn't be possible with so many people around. She needs to make sure that Elise won't take the babies somewhere else with her or else it would be a big problem.
Ethan on the other hand wasn't able to see both of his babies even though he asked them to let him take a look at them or even hold them. But Dr. Melissa didn't allow it with the reason of letting him rest. His body was weak after him giving birth to both of his children and Ethan himself knew it but he is so worried about his babies and no matter what he wanted to have his twins with him.
"Where are my children! Give my twins back to me! Dr. Melissa, where did you take my children?!" shouted Ethan as soon as he got cleaned up and was transferred to his room he began to look for his children. He wanted his twin beside him but when he saw that they are not even in his room that got him so riled up.
"Dr. Aoki, you need to rest please, you just gave birth and your body is too weak after giving birth. You will see your babies once you are fully recovered so for now rest" said Dr. Melissa who is done checking the IV drip of Ethan.
"NO! I want my children with me here! Where are they?!"
"*sigh* you give me no choice then"
"Wha-what are you doing…." Dr. Melissa gave him a sedative drug that she put in his drip. She needs him to calm down and possibly fall asleep that way she can easily leave Ethan's room and go to where Elise is. The promise between the two is now over and the only thing that she need was her plane ticket. She cannot stay in the country any longer since her job is finally done. She had already submitted her resignation letter to CGH with the reason for finding work in another country. She did get accepted to the hospital that she applied to in-country S with the help of the recommendation letter that she got from the family doctor of the Aoki family.
As soon as Dr. Melissa left the house of Aoki, Tia looked for Ethan's babies everywhere but no matter where she look, she couldn't find them. Three days had passed since Ethan gave birth to his children, Mother Aoki ordered the bodyguards to not let anyone enter the room of Ethan aside from Nathan who stayed home for a week. Nathan was the one who is taking care of Ethan's meal and other needs. Tia on the other hand hasn't seen Ethan ever since he gave birth, she had informed Lucas about the situation and the Alpha immediately asked some people to look for Elise's whereabouts.
"Tia, Madam is calling for you," said one of the maids who had been working at the Aoki Residence for two years now.
"huh? Me? why?" Tia was shocked when she was suddenly told that she is being called.
"I don't know but you should go to the living room now or else madam will get mad at you"
"Alright, thanks for letting me know" Tia then went to the living room where she found Mother Aoki and Nathan far from each other. For some reason, the atmosphere was not good between the mother and son.
"Mom, I have been telling you to release Ethan, now that Elise got what she wanted can't you at least free him?" Said Nathan
"Nathan I know that but I…"
"MOM! Have you seen Ethan since he gave birth? Did you saw how lifeless his eyes are now? WE DESTROYED HIS LIFE FOR THE SAKE OF ELISE'S HAPPINESS! WHY CAN'T YOU FREE HIM NOW?! IS A YEAR NOT ENOUGH? DO YOU WANT TO IMPRISON HIM FOR LIFE?!"
"Nathan, Mom wouldn't do that, I just want him to stay there until he recovers from the fatigue of giving birth. That is all there is and I know that I haven't visited him since that day but you know how much he hates me and your dad so I didn't visit him thinking that he might like it that way"
"MOM!"
"Anyway, don't worry I am…huh? You must be Tia right?" mother Aoki finally notice Tia who is standing near the sofa while the mother and son were fighting.
"Yes, Madam" answered Tia.
"According to the bodyguards, Ethan kept on asking for you so I will assign you to take care of my son until he is better. Nathan needs to go back to work soon but someone needs to take care of my son and if he is asking for you then I will let you be the one to do it."
"I will do my best to take good care of Dr. Ethan. Do I start today Madam?"
"Yes, It has been three days since he gave birth and Ethan also needs to have a bath but my son wouldn't listen nor let anyone touch him. So for now I want you to try making him take a bath" Mother Aoki then stood up as she says those to Tia who sees that as an opportunity to see and talk to Ethan. Just like what mother Aoki has said, it has been three days since Ethan gave birth to his twins and since then she hasn't seen the omega even once. She is always anxious whenever she reports to Lucas who is so worried about Ethan whenever he knew that the omega is still in that house.
