He might have not asked what is the relationship between the two but seeing how important and worried Lucas was to the unconscious omega, he can roughly guess that the omega had a great impact on the very domineering alpha such as Lucas.
"Let's go, Dr. Inoue," said Mikel as he directed the doctor to the room next door. Daniel already opened the door and went inside while still holding the door from inside the room as he waits for the two alpha to go in.

"Dr. Jessica Lin, the wife of Dr. Lin of the surgical department. Wait a minute, I am very confused here with all of the unexpected news you are throwing at me. Isn't Dr. Aoki in another country and from what I heard from the president of CGH he is in Hawaii, helping his grandfather there?"
"That is the lie that was told to everyone by Ethan's family, to cover the truth about the situation of Ethan," said Mikel who has been quiet for a while now.
"Lie? What do you mean? Why would they lie about the whereabouts of Dr. Aoki? And if he is not in Hawaii then where is he this whole time?"
"*sigh* Come let me show you" Mikel stood up and walked towards the window of that room. Across it was the house of the Aoki family and from that window, the room where Ethan was imprisoned can be seen.
"Where?" asked Dr. Inoue as he stood side by side Mikel who is now standing in front of the window.
"Do you see that window that has steel bars?"
"Yes, what about it?"
"that is where Ethan is the whole time, his family imprisoned him thereafter discovering that Ethan was pregnant"
"WHAT?! Why would they do that to him? And just because he is pregnant they would imprison him, aren't they supposed to be happy and let him be free to do what he wants even though he is pregnant"
"Normally, that is how it should be but the babies that Ethan was carrying are the babies of his brother-in-law"
"WHAT?! But Dr. Aoki has a lover that he loves right? I mean, Dr. Lin told me how much the two love each other. Did Dr. Aoki cheat on his lover with his brother-in-law? Was his family that ashamed that their son is pregnant with their son-in-law who just got married with their daughter?"
"*smirk* Calm down Dr. Inoue, first let's sit down again and I will explain it to you" The two alpha then went back to their sits after Mikel showed the room of Ethan to Dr. Inoue.
"Alright, I feel like my head is going to explode from shock here, uhm can I first have some water before we continue? Your explanation might make me dehydrated so let me breathe a little ok?" asked Dr. Inoue who is now sitting. Daniel knew that their conversation might need them some drinks that is why while the three are talking he already asked someone to get some drinks. The timing of the arrival of drinks was right since Dr. Inoue felt a sudden thirst after hearing all those shocking revelations about Ethan.
