Outside the office, Lu Xun was leaning on the wall with his eyes closed as he waited for Song Xing Xing to speak to that boy.
He did not know what the two had talked about but Lu Xun could sense that the atmosphere in the room had slightly changed as he delivered the bucket of fried chicken.
The phone in his pocket buzzed. Lu Xun glanced at the caller ID and quickly answered the call when he saw Zhang Yu Han's name.
"I've arrived in Capital City with Anna's parents," Zhang Yu Han spoke as the call was connected. "Lu Xun, where are you?"
His eyes flashed with a hint of surprise. Lu Xun had not thought that his friend would bring Shi An Na's parents over. "The police station."
Zhang Yu Han listened to the address that his friend had reported to him. "Wait for me. I will be there as soon as I can."
The phone call was disconnected. Lu Xun stared at his phone with a dazed expression.
At this time, the door behind him was pushed open. Song Xing Xing came out with a faint smile on her face.
Before he could ask a question, Song Xing Xing placed a finger on her lips, gesturing him not to say anything. He shot her a puzzled look and watched as she spoke to the policewoman who was guarding outside.
"What happened?" Lu Xun asked as the policewoman entered the office where Shi An Na's son was in.

Lu Xun glanced at the time and noted that it was almost midnight. He did not realize that it has been this late. They had stayed at the station for a long time.
She dragged him to a quiet corner and forced him to sit down. She could tell that he would be tired after standing for a long time.
Lu Xun watched his wife's face for a long time. Then, he broke the silence and asked, "Why do you treat that boy so well?"
His heart was not at ease. Lu Xun did not like that boy after what he had tried to do. However, his wife has been treating him well.
"He's just an innocent child," Song Xing Xing said. "He only did things because his mother. Actually, I think he's quite pitiful." Song Xing Xing continued to tell him a little bit about her conversation with that boy.
