The mage and swordsman entered the forest together and began to slay some monsters in the forest. Their action triggered another quest and soon, a high-level boss appeared in anger.
The two moved quickly to fight this big boss. General Huo swung his sword around to attack the big boss while using his shield for defense. Meanwhile, Shadow stood at a distance away ad cast some magic spell t attack the monster.
Seeing that the swordsman's health was dropping fast, Shadow threw a high-level potion to General Huo to help him.
After evading the monster's attack, Shadow stood a distance away and cast a spell for the special move. The teammates worked together and attack the monster at the same time. The boss's health decreased greatly. General Huo swung his sword one more time and the boss finally screamed in agony before he fell on the ground.
"We did it..." Huo Yun Chen looked at the screen in disbelief. This was their third attempt to kill this monster. They had thought that if they failed again, they would have to log in another day and asked Little Star to aid them as their healer.
However, their combo moves had finally killed the monster.
Huo Yun Chen laughed happily when he saw the rare materials in his backpack. He glanced at the person beside him and smiled. "Xia Yu, you're really great."
Xia Yu replied to him with a chuckle.
"It seemed that you have leveled up quite a bit as well," Huo Yun Chen commented.
"Mhmm... After I quit my job, I have more time to log in and level up."
Huo Yun Chen sighed, feeling slightly jealous that Xia Yu could play games while he will continue to get busy after he return to Capital City.
However, when he recalled her quarrel with her mother earlier that morning, he realized that Xia Yu deserved some off time to play games.
He stared at his phone screen absentmindedly and spoke, "That's right, I heard from the company that there will be an event that required a CP to work together next week. Let's exchange contact numbers. It will be easier for us to contact each other."
Her movement froze for a brief second. Xia Yu hesitated for a few seconds before she finally nodded.
Once they are done, Xia Yu stared at the man's contact for a few seconds before she quickly switched the screen back to the game.
She lowered her head and let her hair cover half of her face. Her heart was palpating and her face reddened.
Xia Yu could not believe that she had Huo Yun Chen's private number.
It seemed that the longer she spend her time with this man, the dangerous it would be for her.
