With Bei Yuan's help, Lu Xun finally arrived at the hospital.
When he arrived at the floor, Lu Xun could already see Xia Yu and a nurse were discussing something outside the labor room. His heart was palpating upon noticing the serious look on their faces.
As he approached them, Xia Yu turned around and her eyes widened in surprise.
"What happened to Xing Xing?" Lu Xun asked. His voice was hoarse and his face paled.
According to their plan, Lu Xun was supposed to accompany his wife to the hospital and prepare for the birth of the twins in less than three weeks.
Unexpectedly, her water broke and she had to enter the labor room earlier.
When he first found out that Song Xing Xing was pregnant with a twin, Lu Xun had read a lot of books and heard how dangerous it could be for the mother and child. Premature birth can be risky.
He could not bear it if something happen to them.
His heart was stuffy and he could not breathe easily until he see his wife.
"President Lu, you are here." Xia Yu heaved in relief upon seeing the man. She had spoken to him on the phone a while ago. Unexpectedly, the man had arrived in less than fifteen minutes.
The nurse who was speaking to Xia Yu earlier turned to Lu Xun with an inquiring gaze. "You are the husband? Mr. Lu?"

The nurse's expression turned softer. "Mr. Lu, your wife is now in the labor room and she is now ready to give birth."
Lu Xun continued to listen to the nurse's briefing on his wife's situation.
Hearing that Song Xing Xing was in a good condition and would be able to give birth normally, Lu Xun finally felt at ease. However, the anxious feeling returned when the nurse mentioned that Song Xing Xing might need to undergo a cesarean birth if her condition worsens.
